Russian Security Service raided ten houses of the Crimean Tatars in an occupied village of Strohonivka, Simferopol region, as Crimean Solidarity reported on Facebook.
In particular, investigation was conducted in the houses of Remzi Bekirov, Osman Arifmemetov, Rustem Sheyhaliyev, Efran Osmanov, Aziz Bekirov, Akim Bekirov, Abdulaziz Umerov, Mejit Abdurakhmanov, Tofik Abdulgaziyev, Yashar Muedinov, Seitveli Seytabdiev, Edem Yachikov. In total, 17 hoses are being searched.
According to the activists, local residents are not allowed to got to their homes in Kamenka distrit.
The Crimean lawyer Mammet Mambetov wrote on his Facebook page that searches are being conduted in Volodymyrivka, Crimea.
The journalist Anto Naumlyuk reported that the lawyers who arrived at the site of investigation, are not allowed to see their defendants. For instance, the lawyer Emil Qirimli is not let to the search.
At the same time, TASS informed that searched are related to the case of Hizb ut-Tahrir.
According to FSB, they are conducting searches within the probes opened against allegedly members of this organization.
As it was reported, on March 26 Russian border guards detained two Crimean Tatars Remzi Bekirov and Ruslan Suleymanov near Kalanchak checkpoint. Later, they were released.
