APC Government Owned the Terrorists: Nigerian Troops Rescue More Kidnapped Victims, Continue Onslaught Against Bandits in Kwara State

APC Government Owned the Terrorists: Nigerian Troops Rescue More Kidnapped Victims, Continue Onslaught Against Bandits in Kwara State

The Nigerian Army has said it's Troops of 2 Division/Sector 3, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have sustained aggressive operations against bandits in Kwara State, leading to the successful rescue of three kidnapped victims at different locations within the Babanla Forest on Saturday, 11 October 2025.

According to the statement made available to the general public, acting on credible intelligence, troops deployed at the Patrol Base Babanla swiftly mobilised to a suspected bandit hideout and rescued Mrs Oluwabusayo Taiwo, aged 25, and her 3 years old son, Taiwo Irayomide, who were among the victims abducted at Oke-Ode on 28 September 2025.

The rescued victims are currently receiving first aid treatment at the Patrol Base sick bay and will be reunited with their family members in due course.

Also the troops while on routine patrol along a suspected bandit route, also rescued Mr Mohammadu Sani, known as Mai Shayi,* a 40 years old local tea seller from Garkarima. The bandits fled upon sighting the patrol team, abandoning the victim, who was found in a pool of blood. Troops recovered one dane gun and a cutlass from the scene. The victim is currently receiving medical attention at the Patrol Base sick bay.

The Commander, 22 Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Ezra Barkins, commended the troops for their swift response and professionalism, while reaffirming that the Nigerian Army will remain committed towards ensuring the safety and security of all citizens and will continue to intensify operations aimed at restoring peace and stability across Kwara State and its environs

It is on records that insecurities in Nigeria have been aggravated since enthronement of APC leadership in 2015. Beyond Boko Haram terrorism, the country has graduated to multiple non state actors terrorism by bandits , kidnapping for ransoms and Fulani herdsmen killing the defenseless and helpless citizens while the Tinubu led APC gangs keeps imposing taxes, devalued national currency, reduced the purchasing power of the people and keeps the country permanently as the global capital of poverty. The government has also crippled the opposition political parties in the country and silence critics

KWARA SOUTH IS  BLEEDING

Profile picture

APC government came to Power in the year 2015 with empty rhetorics to fight and end Boko Haram terrorism but the party only succeeded in intriduciynore terrorists groups such as the Fulani herdsmen, bandits, megsl kidnapping for ransom and the current group unleashing terrors in the North Central of the country.

APC government has failed in the primary responsibilities of governance, protection of lives and properties but Tinubu led APC gangs only knows how to collect taxes, reduced the purchasing power of the citizens, sharing abject poverty for greater numbers of people.

It is the constitutional duty of the President to protect lives and property — not to multiply taxes while citizens are fleeing their hometowns.

You cannot build national prosperity on insecurity.

When people abandon their homes, farmlands, and local economies out of fear, the foundation of governance collapses.

Security is not just a moral duty — it is the economic backbone of every stable nation.

How do you tax a farmer who can’t access his land?

How do you expect productivity from a citizen who sleeps in fear?

Every displaced family represents a shrinking economy — a town losing its workforce, a market losing its buyers, and a government losing its legitimacy.

Yet in this country, the death of Nigerians has become just another statistic — names reduced to numbers, headlines recycled like weather reports.

We mourn for a day, move on by tomorrow, and the government calls it “progress.”

Leadership without security is taxation without humanity.

While the government focuses on new levies and economic jargon, the real economy — the people — is dying in silence.

And those joining this administration to tell us it’s making progress are the worst kind of humans —

soulless defenders of failure.

They are like the Uruk-hai from The Lord of the Rings — bred for destruction, loyal only to evil, and blind to the ruin they serve.

To worsen it, they travel across the world gaslighting citizens —

telling the international community that there is no corruption back home,

while the nation they left behind bleeds from the wounds of theft, lies, and silence.

And the saddest part?

Many of you think you’re supporting your party while all this evil is taking place.

You defend the same system that is destroying your future,

clap for oppressors who wouldn’t spend a second living your reality,

and mock those who still dare to speak.

You cannot measure GDP when the ground itself is unsafe.

Until lives are protected, every new tax is blood money collected from the displaced and forgotten.

A serious government protects first, reforms next, and taxes last.

But in today’s Nigeria, the order is reversed — we are being taxed for a nation we can no longer live in.

*COMPLAINT FROM LABOUR PARTY (LP) TO THE NEW INEC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, PROF AMUPITAN*

1. It is hoped that professor Amupitan's arrival shall herald the much needed transparency and integrity with accountability in the Nation's electoral processes to engender free, fair and credible elections especially in 2027 were every vote is expected to count.

2. Permit me to bring to the attention of the new INEC national chairman, the case of Labour Party (LP) pending INEC's uploading in its portal the names of Senator Nenadi Usman as National Chairman and Senator Darlington Nwokocha as National Secretary.

3. The pending removal of the names of Julius Abure and Umar Farouk Ibrahim from the INEC portal put their by a court order after the 8th October 2024 FCT High Court Judgement now voided, is long overdue, and owing to the fact that the Supreme Court in its landmark judgement on 4th April 2025 was meritorious in favour of the Appellants: Senator Nenadi Usman and Senator Darlington.

4. Suffice it to say that the Supreme Court Judgement of 4th April 2025 sacked Julius Abure and Umar Farouk Ibrahim as National Chairman and Secretary and dismissed the FCT High Court Judgement of 8th October 2024 and Appeal Court Judgement of 17th January 2025 that recognized Julius Abure as National Chairman for lack of Jurisdiction and sequel to the expiration of their tenure on 8th June 2024.

5. Furthermore, the Federal High Court Judgement of 15th August 2025 affirmed the INEC's Counter Affidavit Suit that voided the illegal and unlawful national convention "gathering" which took place in Nnewi Anambra State on 27th March 2024 conducted by Julius Abure and his co-conspirators.

6. The premise for the nullification of their purported national convention was predicated on the non conduct of Congresses and Delegates Election in violation of the provisions of the party's constitution 2019 as amended and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended and the electoral Act 2002.

THE FALLACY OF A BLAMELESS GOVERNMENT: A TREATISE ON THE MISDIAGNOSIS OF NIGERIA’S PROBLEMS

THE FALLACY OF A BLAMELESS GOVERNMENT: A TREATISE ON THE MISDIAGNOSIS OF NIGERIA’S PROBLEMS

Bandits

By Taiwo Akiniami

There is a growing movement in Nigeria, one that argues that “the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians.” They say, “Let’s forget government. Let’s focus on ourselves.” They point to the carpenter who cheats, the doctor who defrauds, the mechanic who lies, the teacher who neglects. Their conclusion? “The failure of the nation lies not in the state, but in the citizen.”

At first, this sounds noble. Indeed, citizens must take responsibility for their conduct. But when examined closely, this argument is both shallow and dangerous, for it exonerates government and erases the moral and structural accountability of leadership.

If those who govern us are not imported, if they are Nigerians, products of our culture, schools, and communities, then how do we separate “the people” from “the government”? When analysts say “Nigerians are Nigeria’s problem” yet conveniently remove government from their diagnosis, they reveal a deeper intellectual dishonesty: they seek to absolve power while condemning the powerless.

If we follow this logic, then let us take it to its conclusion:

If government is not part of Nigeria’s problem, then government is unnecessary.

Let us abolish the state, dismantle its institutions, and return to a state of nature where everyone governs himself, a condition we already seem dangerously close to in our present national reality.

But no sane society does that.

Government exists precisely because human weakness demands structure, accountability, and justice. To say “government can’t do everything” is true, but it is not a message for Nigeria, where the question is not what government cannot do, but what it has done in accordance with its constitutional duty to ensure the welfare and security of the people.

To now say “government is not responsible for anything” is not realism; it is tyranny wrapped in populist language and emboldening lawlessness.

THE VANISHING IDEA OF ACCOUNTABILITY

In mature democracies, opposition is the conscience of governance. In the United Kingdom, the opposition is not a passive critic, it is a government-in-waiting, armed with its own social, political, and economic programs. It presents viable alternatives to the ruling party, woos the people with ideas, and dissects every major policy, addressing the nation after each significant government statement.

In the United States, the pattern is similar. After every State of the Union Address, the opposition delivers its own formal response, line by line, policy by policy, offering citizens an ideologically grounded alternative vision of governance. Opposition is not rebellion; it is a pillar of democracy.

In Nigeria, there is no such balance. The President delivers an Independence Day address, and no opposition party steps forward to critique its economic assumptions, social content, or policy soundness. Instead, the duty of dissent has fallen to ordinary citizens.

Today, it is the people, writers, journalists, social commentators, activists—who constitute the only meaningful opposition left. And when private citizens dare to speak truth to power, they are branded “bitter,” “unpatriotic,” or “the problem of Nigeria.”

THE COLLAPSE OF TRUE DEMOCRACY

Our democracy has been emptied of opposition, accountability, and courage.

The ruling elite governs without scrutiny; the opposition sleeps without shame; and the people are told to be silent in the name of patriotism.

We are witnessing a democracy that functions like an autocracy, where citizens are blamed for corruption while the corrupt are celebrated. The public good has been replaced with private greed, and moral responsibility has been outsourced to the powerless.

THE TRUE DIAGNOSIS

Yes, Nigerians must fix Nigeria but that includes those in power: ministers, governors, lawmakers, civil servants, and local officials who shape policy, control budgets, and enforce the law. Leadership is not a separate species; it is drawn from the citizenry.

When you remove government from the analysis, you commit a grave intellectual error—you amputate the very organ that drives the body.

Reform must therefore begin from both ends:

A responsible citizenry, committed to integrity and civic duty.

A responsive government, bound by law, transparency, and justice.

You cannot cure a nation by blaming its patients while excusing its doctors.

THE PATH FORWARD

Let us rebuild a participatory democracy where government is not a deity but a servant; where opposition is not treason but patriotism; and where truth is not punished as disloyalty.

Let us teach our children that governance is not an escape from accountability, but its highest test.

A country that silences criticism in the name of peace is not seeking peace, it is postponing explosion.

Nigeria must now choose: either to confront its leadership failures or to keep blaming its victims.

Naira Ranked Among Africa's Weakest Currencies at ₦1,490/$1

Naira Ranked Among Africa's Weakest Currencies at ₦1,490/$1

Nigeria has been fare worst under the APC leadership since the days of Major General Muhammadu Buhari's draconian civilian regime and as succeed by a very obvious anti people Bola Ahmed Tinubu's maximum pains for greater numbers of citizens as Nigeria's Naira ranked among the worst currencies in Africa.

According to Forbes, the Nigerian Naira ranks ninth weakest currency in Africa, amidst economic strain despite recent improvements.

Forbes' currency calculator tracks currency performance across Africa, factoring market demand, supply, and economic conditions. The São Tomé & Príncipe Dobra ranks weakest at 22,282 per dollar, followed by Sierra Leonean Leone, Guinean Franc, Ugandan Shilling, and Burundian Franc.

Others on the list include Congolese Franc, Tanzanian Shilling, Malawian Kwacha, Nigerian Naira, and Rwandan Franc.

In contrast, Africa's strongest currencies are led by Tunisian Dinar, Libyan Dinar, Moroccan Dirham, Ghanaian Cedi, and Botswanan Pula.

Forbes report that despite the Naira's weak standing, Nigeria's inflation outlook has improved in 2025, with headline inflation dropping from 24.5% in January to 20.12% in August.

The decline is attributed to steady foreign exchange inflows, improved agricultural yields, and the Central Bank of Nigeria's decision to maintain its benchmark interest rate. Experts predict inflation could fall to 17% by December 2025, providing relief for households and businesses.

What the report failed to acknowledge is that the purchasing power of the citizens has been drastically reduced.

TINUBU'S LIES AT OLUBADAN CORONATION: THE ECONOMY HAS TURNED THE CORNER, THERE'S LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL, APPRECIATES NIGERIANS FOR THEIR SUPPORT IN SUFFERING

TINUBU'S LIES AT OLUBADAN CORONATION: THE ECONOMY HAS TURNED THE CORNER, THERE'S LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL, APPRECIATES NIGERIANS FOR THEIR SUPPORT IN SUFFERING

As Nigerians are still wallowing in abject poverty occasioned by APC misrule since 2016, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, on Friday in Ibadan, Oyo State spews fresh Lies that the economy of the country has turned the corner for good, following the success of the economic reforms introduced by his administration over two years ago.

Under Bola Ahmed Tinubu's reckless leadership, it has been maximum pains for greater numbers of the citizens.

Tinubu whose government has continues the Buhari's legacy of maladministration assured Nigerians that they would soon begin to enjoy the fruits of the reforms and thanked them for their patience and support in suffering while looting and more borrowing for looting are still ongoing.

The President spoke on Friday at the coronation of his friend and political ally, Imperial Majesty Oba (Sen) Abdul-Rashidi Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja, as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

He said: "Today, I am honoured to bring the cheering news that our economy has turned around and there is now light at the end of the tunnel.''

Nigeria’s economy has “bounced back” and was on the path of growth and prosperity, despite the widespread hardship, hunger, and inflation ravaging the country under his watch.

Tinubu told the gathering that the country had weathered the storm of economic collapse and was now moving toward recovery.

“To many of you here present, today I am honoured and I’m very proud to give you the cheering news that the economy has turned the corner. There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel,” Tinubu said.

He likened Nigerians’ current suffering under his economic reforms to the pain of a “surgery,” insisting the sacrifices would eventually produce growth and prosperity while every senator and house of representatives members quarterly received nothing less than a billion naira.

The looting under APC leadership since 2015 till date is second to none in our history.

“Your suffering is the pain of a painful surgery. But it is now returned to the moment of growth and prosperity waiting for us ahead. Thank you for your perseverance. Thank you for your endurance,” Tinubu declared.

Speaking about the new Olubadan, Tinubu said: "All the things we started together with great expectations, and the history we shared are coming to pass. I pray that you will live long and be celebrated as one of the rare leaders in history to ascend the throne of your forefathers.

"I pray that God will grant you more years of joy, prosperity and relevance,'' the President said.

He aid that the Olubadan of Ibadanland played a significant role in Nigeria's political history, and had remained a pillar of hope through the experiences of impeachment, perseverance and resilience as a former governor of the state.

He thanked all the former and serving governors, the traditional rulers, for attending the coronation.

"It is a joy and great excitement for us. I appreciate you all. As for me, this is homecoming,'' he stated.

Anyone still keeping any hope in Tinubu's renewed pains has no hope!

WHICH CORNER HAS THE ECONOMY  TURNED UNDER TINUBU LED APC ANTI PEOPLE LEADERSHIP?

The World Is Watching: Tinubu Must Probe, Suspend FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Over US Property Scandal — Timi Frank

The World Is Watching: Tinubu Must Probe, Suspend FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Over US Property Scandal — Timi Frank

Nyesom Wike

A Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has called on Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to suspend the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, over allegations of acquiring properties in the United States under suspicious circumstances.

The  Ex-APC Spokesman who currently serves as Ambassador of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) to East Africa and the Middle East, made the appeal in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

Frank said Tinubu must break his silence on the matter and demonstrate consistency in the fight against corruption, recalling how the President swiftly suspended former Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Betta Edu, over corruption allegations that were “far less serious” than those confronting Wike.

Media reports had alleged that Wike purchased property in Florida and registered them under the names of his wife, Justice Eberechi Wike, and their children, Joaquin, Jazmyne, and Jordan.

Frank described Tinubu’s silence on the matter despite “overwhelming evidence” in the public domain as troubling, adding that it sends a dangerous message that some officials are untouchable.

“With detailed reports from credible sources such as People's Gazette and SaharaReporters, and with glaring evidence ignored by anti-corruption agencies like EFCC and ICPC, it sends a dangerous message that some officials are untouchable,” Frank said.

He further warned that the impunity of government officials like Wike weakens citizens’ trust in governance and could fuel uprisings similar to the recent Nepal revolt.

Frank commended Omoyele Sowore of SaharaReporters, the publishers of People’s Gazette and others for “courageously exposing corruption in the country, irrespective of the government officials involved.”

He accused Tinubu of shielding Wike for political reasons ahead of the 2027 elections, warning that such selective justice would damage Nigeria’s global reputation and erode investor confidence.

“The reasons behind this continued inaction in the case of Wike appears to be tied to the political calculations surrounding the 2027 presidential elections.

“However, allowing political ambition to shield corruption will irreparably harm Nigeria’s reputation internationally.

“The world is watching, and this selective justice undermines investor confidence and portrays Nigeria as a nation unable or unwilling to fight corruption—even within its highest offices.”

Frank also criticised the President’s handling of the Rivers State political crisis, arguing that suspending Governor Siminalayi Fubara and House of Assembly members while leaving Wike untouched highlighted inconsistency and favoritism.

He urged Tinubu to immediately suspend Wike and commission an independent investigation into the allegations.

He said, “Furthermore, even when crises erupted in Rivers State, President Tinubu suspended only Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the House of Assembly members while leaving the Minister of FCT, Wike, untouched.

“This inconsistency fuels suspicions of favoritism and political shielding. Nigerians and the international community deserve to know why the President appears reluctant to confront alleged corruption linked to a close political ally.

“Selective enforcement of the law erodes national pride and makes Nigeria a laughing stock among peer nations, many of whom prosecute corruption allegations without hesitation.”

“The President should protect the dignity of Nigeria and the trust of its citizens by rejecting selective justice and political expediency. The integrity of Nigeria’s governance and its image on the global stage depend on it,” he added.

Omoyele Sowore had petitioned the Attorney General of Florida, Hon. James Uthmeier, seeking the forfeiture and prosecution of Wike over illicit property acquisitions in the United States.

In the petition dated September 22, 2025, and signed by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, Esq., Sowore accused Wike of secretly purchasing multi-million-dollar real estate in Florida using suspicious cash transactions designed to conceal the source of funds.

According to the petition, Wike, alongside his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike of Nigeria’s Court of Appeal, purchased three luxury lakeside properties in Winter Springs, Seminole County, Florida, valued at over $6 million.

The petition listed the properties as 113 Springcreek Lane, Winter Springs, FL 32708, which is a 5,000 sq. ft. residence purchased in cash for $535,000 and transferred to Jordan Wike (25); 209 Hertherwood Court, Winter Springs, FL 32708, which is a 3,401 sq. ft. home acquired for $459,157 in cash and transferred to Joaquin Wike (23); and 208 Hertherwood Court, Winter Springs, FL 32708, which is a 3,901 sq. ft. home bought for $465,000 in cash and transferred to Jazmyne Wike (20).

Sowore’s lawyers said the purchases were executed through quit claim deeds between July 2021 and September 2023 and transferred directly to Wike’s children. They argued that the cash-only acquisitions bypassed banking oversight and raised “serious money laundering concerns.”

Breach of Nigerian and U.S. Laws

The petition alleges that Wike failed to declare these foreign assets to Nigeria’s Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) as required under the Constitution.

It further noted that his legitimate income as a public servant since 1999 could not sustain such multi-million-dollar acquisitions.

The petition argued that the transactions violated both Florida state law and U.S. federal anti-money laundering statutes, specifically citing the Florida Money Laundering Act (Chapter 896.101, Fla. Stat.), the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act, and federal laws under 18 U.S.C. §§ 1956 and 1957.

It also referenced the U.S. Department of Justice Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative, which targets assets linked to corrupt foreign officials.

If it were to be in other climes, Wike would be sacked and probed with the speed of the light the moment he was accused of corruption. Nigeria is a country where laws are meant only for the poor, otherwise, Wike won't have the nerves to be granting interviews up and down after the weighty allegations made against him by Sowore. One thing is sure, one day, somebody somewhere is going to open these corrupt leaders' books for a thorough prosecution.

OMOLUABI ETHOS BETRAYED: YORUBA GROUP SLAMS ODUDUWA INTEGRITY ASSOCIATION'S ATTACK ON SOWORE

OMOLUABI ETHOS BETRAYED: YORUBA GROUP SLAMS ODUDUWA INTEGRITY ASSOCIATION'S ATTACK ON SOWORE

Omoyele Sowore

The children of Oduduwa, popularly known as the Yoruba, are renowned for their moral character, credibility, values, and unwavering commitment to equity, fairness, and justice. These noble traits are what earned them the name Omoluabi. Sadly, these very attributes have been cast aside in the self-serving press statement issued by the so-called Oduduwa Integrity Association, a group whose actions betray a lack of integrity. By cursing Sowore instead of addressing truth, and by threatening to stage a shameful rent-a-crowd protest in the Southwest, they expose themselves as compromised, while Sowore exemplifies the true Omoluabi ethos by speaking truth to power.

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu already has sufficient media and communication machinery to defend his policies, image, and government whenever necessary. He also has the option of seeking legal redress if aggrieved, without the unsolicited intervention of a patronage-seeking “Integrity” group that itself lacks integrity.

Meanwhile, the Oduduwa nation, the Yoruba people, are grappling with multidimensional challenges under Tinubu’s government. The ongoing herdsmen-led attacks amounting to genocide in parts of Northeast Yorubaland, especially against the Ẹgbẹ, the Okun Yoruba in Kogi State, the Igbomina in Kwara, and even some parts of Oyo State, appear to be of little concern to this self-serving association parading under the false banner of “integrity.”

If the immediate past APC presidency of Muhammadu Buhari endangered our land through its tacit tolerance for herdsmen violations and banditry, what has Tinubu—deceitfully voted for by many Yoruba under the mantra of “Èmi ló kan, Yorùbá ló kan”, done to stop the genocidal cleansing of our people by Fulani herdsmen? “Ọmọ ẹni kì í ṣé ìdí bẹ̀bẹ̀rẹ̀ ká fi ìlèkè sí ti ọmọ ẹlòmíì”, one must not adorn another’s child with beads while neglecting one’s own. What is benefits today? Hardship!

Do we need to remind this integrity-lacking group that local government chairmen in Ondo State, where they issued their fatwah against Sowore, are publicly crying out that Governor Aiyedatiwa diverted local government allocations for personal use? Out of a whopping ₦600 million, only a paltry ₦4 million is given to them—yet this is of less concern to these self-serving defenders of Yoruba “interests.”

Now that their attack on Sowore has become a guaranteed meal ticket from the Presidency, can they also tell their paymasters that the majority of Yoruba people are living in abject poverty brought about by anti-poor government policies? Hunger, suffering, despair, and multiple taxation have crippled their sources of livelihood.

We also hope this Omoluabi-traits-lacking group will appeal to Governor Sanwo-Olu and, by extension, the Tinubu presidency, to stop the vicious, cruel, and inhumane displacement and demolition of the homes and means of livelihood of the poor in Okobaba, Otumara, Makoko, Owode Onirin, Oworonshoki, and other parts of Lagos.

The fraudulent citation of alien doctrines with manipulated Bible verses will not work against a people’s hero like Sowore. Genuine children of Oduduwa, not opportunistic akọ́tìlẹ́tà, should know that Ifa philosophy has guidance for every matter under the sun. Odu Ifa Ìkàgbemi teaches:

* Ifa divined for the righteous man being vilified and plotted against.

* Ifa knows our hearts,

* the earth knows the wicked,

* Olódùmarè knows who truly stands for justice.

Thus, no matter the campaign of calumny against Sowore for speaking truth to power, the impoverished majority know he stands for a better life for them, he is their hero. They also know that the self-appointed defenders of Tinubu are opportunists thriving on the pain and hardship of the people. Groups like the Oduduwa Integrity Association are the true villains.

Nigeria's FCT Minister Nyesom Wike acquires up to 4 properties in Florida from proceeds of corruption, Sowore Tenders Evidence

Nigeria's FCT Minister Nyesom Wike acquires up to 4 properties in Florida from proceeds of corruption, Sowore Tenders Evidence

Wike, his wife and their three Children

Rights activist Omoyele Sowore has made public evidences confirming that Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS, and his wife Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike, a Court of Appeal judge, used "Quit Claim Deeds" to transfer three different Florida properties into the names of their children Jordan, Joaquim, and Jasmyne.

According to Sowore, these are the Quit Claim Deeds that Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS, and his wife Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike, a Court of Appeal judge, used to transfer three different Florida properties into the names of their children Jordan, Joaquim, and Jasmyne. These transfers were done in 2023, but Mr. International Thief said he was not aware. With this discovery, it is now also clear that Wike has a fourth property in Florida at 113 Spring Creek Lane, Winter Springs, FL 32708.

This explains why Wike boasted on Channels Television that he “didn’t know” his wife and children owned mansions in the United States. But the international thief has now been caught in his own web of lies. By the way, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS was due for follow-up treatment for a new ailment and chest infection that recently kept him in London for two weeks, which he was going to do under the guise of attending the UN General Assembly with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu but yesterday the VP, Kashim Shettima was asked to lead the delegation with 7 other ministers, Wike decided to bail out and several state governors have also been told to stay back for now. There is no hiding place anymore.

EXPLAINER AS TO WHY Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS, AND HIS WIFE ARE USING A QUIT DEED TO TRANSFER THEIR LAUNDERED WEALTH TO THEIR THREE KIDS:

A Quit Claim Deed is one of the simplest property transfer documents in U.S. real estate law. It allows one person, the grantor, to sign over whatever ownership interest they may have in a property to another person, the grantee. Crucially, it offers no guarantees the grantor makes no promise that the title is valid, clear, or even legitimate. In short, it transfers “whatever interest” the grantor has, nothing more.

Ordinarily, quit claim deeds are used for routine family transactions, a husband adding a wife to a title, parents transferring property to children, or heirs resolving paperwork after an inheritance. Because they bypass warranties and detailed title checks, they are cheap, quick, and often escape close scrutiny.

But this simplicity is exactly why kleptocrats love them. Corrupt officials exploit "quit claim deeds" to launder stolen wealth. By transferring properties into the names of wives, children, or other relatives, they hide their true ownership. On paper, the transactions appear to be ordinary family planning. In reality, they are deliberate strategies to conceal the original source of illicit funds. No public sale, no market-value exchange, no visible money trail, just the quiet concealment of corruption beneath harmless looking paperwork.

This is precisely what Wike has done. Properties in Florida, purchased with the proceeds of corruption, were quietly moved into the names of his wife, herself a senior judicial officer in Nigeria, and their children. The pattern is a textbook case of laundering stolen Nigerian wealth into U.S. real estate, using quit claim deeds as legal camouflage.

Under U.S. law, such transactions amount to money laundering and trafficking in stolen property, serious crimes punishable under both state and federal statutes. They are also subject to asset seizure and forfeiture under the U.S. Department of Justice’s Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative.

Wike’s Florida deeds are the very trail of corruption, the very evidence that US prosecutors need to unravel his kleptocracy and reclaim assets stolen from the people of Nigeria.

Omoyele Sowore: Nyesom Wike must be held accountable under U.S. law if he follows Tinubu to the UN General Assembly in New York

Tinubu/Wike

The human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has said the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike must be held accountable under U.S. law if he follows Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the UN General Assembly in New York.

According to Sowore, if Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS follows Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the United Nations General Assembly, he must be arrested to face Florida’s money laundering charges as well as federal indictments for money laundering and asset trafficking.

His money laundering schemes would fall under the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative, a program of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) designed to combat corruption by foreign public officials, recover the proceeds of foreign bribery and theft laundered into or through the United States, and return stolen assets to the citizens of the countries from which they were taken.

Wike’s Florida mansions, hidden under his wife’s Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike and children’s names, are textbook examples of laundering proceeds of crime. These properties should be seized, and Wike himself should face indictment under both Florida’s anti-money laundering statutes and U.S. federal law.

Earlier, Omoyele Sowore had accused the Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike, of threatening an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) official during a by-election in 2016.

Sowore made the claim in a post on X (formerly Twitter), where he shared an old audio recording said to capture Wike making the threats.

He described Wike as “a killer, drunkard, and land thief,” and alleged that the minister bribed INEC officials to rig the election in his favor. He also said Wike threatened to kill those officials if they refused.

Sowore further alleged that Wike recently threatened to assassinate him on behalf of President Bola Tinubu. According to him, “Wike has killed many people, stolen a lot, and escaped justice for too long.”

Ondo APC group petitions national secretariat over Olubunmi Ojo's alleged grassroot neglect, violent attack on party members

Ondo APC group petitions national secretariat over Olubunmi Ojo's alleged grassroot neglect, violent attack on party members

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo

A group named Ondo APC Mandate Group has petitioned the All Progressive Congress national secretariat over what it described as the minister of interior's neglect of the grassroot and violence against party members.

In a petition dated 17th of Sept, 2025, signed by the convener of the group Alhaji Ariwoola Abdukareem, comrade Gbenga Bojuwomi the secretary and four other exco members, submitted to the party's headquarters in Abuja, the group alleged the Minister of Interior of masterminding violent attack on party members during the last local government election in the state.

In the petition titled: "Call for Accountability and Reflection on the Conduct of Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo", addressed to the national chairman of the party, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, the group called on the leadership of the party to call the minister to order for violent attack, neglect and total disregard for his grassroot supporters who were instrumental to his emergence and rising political profile.

The petition reads in part; "We, the undersigned stakeholders and concerned citizens of Akoko Land in Ondo State, wish to express our deep concern regarding the conduct and political disposition of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior and former Member of the House of Representatives.

"Hon. Tunji-Ojo, appears to attribute his political success solely to personal merit, disregarding the collective efforts and sacrifices of many political actors from Akoko Land and Ondo State, the APC mandate group in particular."

The group further alleged that Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has paid their selfless gesture with attack, arrogance and dismissiveness, as he portray his political rise and victory as a personal triumph rather than a collective achievement.

"Similar trait was displayed during the recent local government elections in Ondo State, when the minister allegedly orchestrated acts of violence against party members solely on the ground that his preferred aspirant did not emerge at the primaries.

Notably, Hon. Oluwatoye Ajiboye, the APC councillorship candidate in Ward 5 of Akoko northwest, was reportedly assaulted by the men of Nigeria Civil Defense Corps and another party leader detained for days by the Police under the ministers' instruction", the petition read.

The APC group maintained that the minister's actions raise serious questions about his commitment to democratic values and party unity as his behavior suggests a troubling disconnect from the people he claims to represent.

”We therefore, call on the APC leadership under Prof. Yelwata, the Presidency and the concerned security agencies to take a closer look at the minister’s activities and their implications on security, party’s image and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term aspirations".

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu End his State of Emergency Rule in Rivers State

According to a state house statement by the presidency, Nigeria's President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has end the State of Emergency in Rivers State.

*BREAKING STATEHOUSE STATEMENT*

*STATEMENT BY HIS EXCELLENCY, BOLA AHMED TINUBU, PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, ON THE CESSATION OF THE STATE OF EMERGENCY IN RIVERS STATE*

My Fellow countrymen and, in particular, the good people of Rivers State.

I am happy to address you today on the state of emergency declaration in Rivers State. You will recall that on 18th March, 2025, I proclaimed a state of emergency in the state. In my proclamation address, I highlighted the reasons for the declaration. The summary of it for context is that there was a total paralysis of governance in Rivers State, which had led to the Governor of Rivers State and the House of Assembly being unable to work together. Critical economic assets of the State, including oil pipelines, were being vandalised. The State House of Assembly was crisis-ridden, such that members of the House were divided into two groups. Four members worked with the Governor, while 27 members opposed the Governor. The latter group supported the Speaker. As a result, the Governor could not present any Appropriation Bill to the House, to enable him to access funds to run Rivers State's affairs. That serious constitutional impasse brought governance in the State to a standstill. Even the Supreme Court, in one of its judgments in a series of cases filed by the Executive and the Legislative arms of Rivers State against each other, held that there was no government in Rivers State. My intervention and that of other well-meaning Nigerians to resolve the conflict proved abortive as both sides stuck rigidly to their positions to the detriment of peace and development of the State.

It therefore became painfully inevitable that to arrest the drift towards anarchy in Rivers State, I was obligated to invoke the powers conferred on me by Section 305 of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, to proclaim the state of emergency. The Offices of the Governor, Deputy Governor, and elected members of the State House of Assembly were suspended for six months in the first instance. The six months expire today, September 17th, 2025.

I thank the National Assembly, which, after critically evaluating the justification for the proclamation, took steps immediately, as required by the Constitution, to approve the declaration in the interest of peace and order in Rivers State. I  also thank our traditional rulers and the good people of Rivers State for their support from the date of the declaration of the state of emergency until now.

I am not unaware that there were a few voices of dissent against the proclamation, which led to their instituting over 40 cases in the courts in Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Yenagoa, to invalidate the declaration. That is the way it should be in a democratic setting. Some cases are still pending in the courts as of today. But what needs to be said is that the power to declare a state of emergency is an inbuilt constitutional tool to address situations of actual or threatened breakdown of public order and public safety, which require extraordinary measures to return the State to peace, order and security. Considered objectively, we had reached that situation of total breakdown of public order and public safety in Rivers State, as shown in the judgment of the Supreme Court on the disputes between the Executive and the Legislative arm of Rivers State. It would have been a colossal failure on my part as President not to have made that proclamation.

As a stakeholder in democratic governance, I believe that the need for a harmonious existence and relationship between the executive and the legislature is key to a successful government, whether at the state or national level. The people who voted us into power expect to reap the fruits of democracy. However, that expectation will remain unrealizable in an atmosphere of violence, anarchy, and insecurity borne by misguided political activism and Machiavellian manipulations among the stakeholders.

I am happy today that, from the intelligence available to me, there is a groundswell of a new spirit of understanding, a robust readiness, and potent enthusiasm on the part of all the stakeholders in Rivers State for an immediate return to democratic governance. This is undoubtedly a welcome development for me and a remarkable achievement for us. I therefore do not see why the state of emergency should exist a day longer than the six months I had pronounced at the beginning of it.

It therefore gives me great pleasure to declare that the emergency in Rivers State of Nigeria shall end with effect from midnight today. The Governor, His Excellency Siminalayi Fubara, the deputy governor, Her Excellency Ngozi Nma Odu, and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly and the speaker, Martins Amaewhule, will resume work in their offices from 18 September 2025.

I take this opportunity to remind the Governors and the Houses of Assembly of all the States of our country to continue to appreciate that it is only in an atmosphere of peace, order, and good government that we can deliver the dividends of democracy to our people. I implore all of you to let this realisation drive your actions at all times.

I thank you all.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

OMOYELE SOWORE GOES TO COURT AGAINST SSS, META AND X: ASKS FEDERAL HIGH COURT TO STOP FACEBOOK AND TWITTER FROM DELETING HIS STATEMENT CALLING TINUBU A CRIMINAL

Sowore

On behalf of our client, Omoyele Sowore, we have filed two fundamental rights actions at the Federal High Court, Abuja, against the State Security Service (SSS), Meta (owners of Facebook), and X Corp. (formerly Twitter).

These suits were filed to challenge the unconstitutional censorship initiated by the DSS/SSS against Sowore’s accounts maintained with Meta and X.

The lawsuit states categorically that this is about the survival of free speech in Nigeria. If state agencies can dictate to global platforms who may speak and what may be said, then no Nigerian is safe, their  voices will be silenced at the whim of those in power.

Censorship of political criticism is alien to democracy. The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in Section 39, guarantees every citizen the right to freedom of expression, without interference. No security agency, no matter how powerful, can suspend or delete those rights.

Meta and X must also understand this: when they bow to unlawful censorship demands, they become complicit in the suppression of liberty. They cannot hide behind neutrality while authoritarianism is exported onto their platforms.

Our prayers before the Court are simple:

That the SSS has no power in law to censor Nigerians on social media;

That Meta and X must not lend their platforms as tools of repression; and

That our client’s rights and by extension, the rights of all Nigerians, be fully protected against unlawful censorship.

We call on all lovers of freedom, journalists, human rights defenders, and the Nigerian people to stand firm. Today it is Sowore; tomorrow it may be you.

This struggle is not about personalities. It is about principle. And we shall resist every attempt to turn Nigeria into a digital dictatorship.

President of Nepal, Ministers, Other Politicians Fled the Country as the Protesting Youths are on deadly Rampage

President of Nepal, Ministers, Other Politicians Fled the Country as the Protesting Youths are on deadly Rampage

The entire leadership of the Nepal including the President, cabinet Ministers and other Politicians have Fled the country after Massive protests by the Youths .

The youths complained about Politicians’s kids schooling abroad and living lavishly while they suffer back home and the government ignored . They complained about corruption and they ignored .  T hey said they can’t keep suffering while Politicians’kids enjoy outside of the country while they pay tax.

After an endless ranting on the social media, the Nepal's government wants to shut them up by banning social media in the country. That was the genesis of the ongoing protests in the country.

Similar to the case of Nigerians, people are suffering and life is getting difficult for the  common citizens but the Tinubu lead APC government is not doing anything to easy the suffering of the more than majority. The purchasing power of the people has been drastically reduced as Naira is worthless.

The Opposition political parties have been intentionally crippled and crumbled. Insecurities are on the rise.

Should Nepal's Youths actions motivate Nigeria Youths to rise and challenge this bad governance or keep on praying without action?

What do you think?

Labour Party Commends House of Reps Speaker Abbas for Alarm On Tinubu's Reckless Borrowing, Tasks Akpabio to Follow Good Example

Labour Party Commends House of Reps Speaker Abbas for Alarm On Tinubu's Reckless Borrowing, Tasks Akpabio to Follow Good Example

By Prince Tony Akeni, Labour Party National Publicity Secretary (Interim)

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Abbas Tajudeen, after his initial catharsis of truth on the prodigal and dangerous borrowings of President Tinubu's APC administration on Monday has, in the last 18 hours, been telling Nigerians that his statement was quoted out of context.

But that is not true. If he has come under pressure by his party's hawks and blows by the long hammer of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from his vacation beach in Europe to recant, Nigerians are good at understanding, so we can understand.

For avoidance of doubt, speaking yesterday September 8, 2025 at the opening of the 11th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the West Africa Association of Public Accounts Committees (WAAPAC), which took place at the National Assembly, Abuja, below is what Speaker Abbas said, verbatim:

_“As at the first quarter of 2025, Nigeria’s total public debt stood at N149.39 trillion, equivalent to about US$97 billion. This represents a sharp rise from N121.7 trillion the previous year, underscoring how quickly the burden has grown. Even more CONCERNING is the debt-to-GDP ratio, which now stands at roughly 52 percent, well above the statutory ceiling of 40 percent set by our own laws._

_"The BREACH of the debt limit is a signal of strain on fiscal sustainability... THERE IS NEED for stronger oversight, transparent borrowing practices, and a collective resolve to ensure that tangible economic and social returns match every naira borrowed.”_

_“This is not just a budgetary concern but A STRUCTURAL CRISIS that demands urgent parliamentary attention and coordinated reform._

_“Borrowing should support infrastructure, health, education, and industries that create jobs and reduce poverty. RECKLESS DEBT THAT FUELS CONSUMPTION OR CORRUPTION must be exposed and rejected. Oversight is not just about figures, but about the lives and futures behind those figures."_

When there is too much sand in a soup, even the blind will notice. That is what Rep Tajudeen Abbas, the APC's own Speaker of Nigeria's House of Representatives, has done.

Nigeria's astronomical debts without the benefit of visible economic and infrastructure development for the citizens on behalf of whom they are borrowed, the dangers the debts hold for the country's future are so grave and frightening that Speaker Abbas could not hide it from the world.

Speaker Tajudeen Abbas also did not hide the fact that his own party's administration led by President Tinubu is responsible for the country's public debts peril to Nigerians born and unborn.

For Nigerians to appreciate Speaker Abbas' sense of alarm, one must put in perspective the facts.

Both the Debt management Office and CBN's published data available to the public confirm that in the first 90 days of this year alone, Nigeria's public debts soared from #121.7trillion in December 2024 to #149.39trillion.

What is more frightening is that as Speaker Abbas pointed out, in the same three-month period the debt-to-GDP ratio resulting from these debts rose to 52%, which is far above the highest safe limit of 40% set by Nigeria's own fiscal laws.

What further worsens the alarming nature of the country's debts is the revelation that in the last nine months, Nigeria used N8.93trillion or $6.2billion to service her debts. This means that 61% of the country's revenues of #14.55trillion earned during the same period went into debt servicing!

Choosing his words carefully for minimum image damage to his party, even Speaker Abbas could not escape admitting that this is an extreme breach of the debt ceiling and revenue security threshold set by Nigeria's fiscal laws.

Yet, not done, President Tinubu, even as he jetted out to France last week on a 10-day vacation, is seeking a new World Bank loan, a proposal of which Labour Party has learned is currently being prepared for Senate President Godswill Akpabio's "ayes have it" National Assembly choir.

The public might condemn Speaker Abbas as a co-culprit crying wolf over a collective guilt for Nigeria's calamitous debts profile since, as Speaker of the National Assembly, he presides over one of the two legislative chambers which approved Tinubu's borrowings.

True as that may be, Labour Party believes that Speaker Abbas' admission of President Tinubu as the architect-in-chief of Nigeria's skyscraping debts, although coming somewhat late, calls for commendation more than condemnation at this point. This is especially so if his alarm will help put some breaks on the APC administration's recklessness in loan procurements. It is better late than never.

The Labour Party enjoins all Nigerians to join Speaker Abbas' call advocating, in his own words, "stronger oversight, transparent borrowing practices, and a collective resolve to ensure that tangible and social returns match every naira borrowed."

At this juncture of our country's captivity in the grip of President Tinubu's fiscal management disasters, there is not a more cogent, urgent and compelling call to duty to God and country as the one being made now by Speaker Abbas.

Finally, the Labour Party wishes to recommend to Senate President Godswill Akpabio to emulate Speaker Abbas. Taking the initiative and leading from the front ahead of Akpabio, Mr. Speaker has shown the Senate President a resounding example of objective patriotism by the call to put Nigeria first henceforward in all public loans procurement through responsible oversight.

Going forward, both the Speaker and Senate President should act in accord to ensure that wayward and prodigal borrowings proposed henceforth by the Tinubu administration, which do not have clear achievable blueprint for tangible benefits in infrastructural development, economic wellbeing and security of Nigerians are outrightly rejected and thrown out.

In particular, before Senate President Akpabio accepts another loan request from President Tinubu and railroads his assembly of she-men to chorus "the ayes have it," he should remember history. Any people pushed to the wall by grinding poverty with nowhere to turn would defy all one day and turn on their oppressors.

The solution to preventing this is to end altogether the APC government's prodigal borrowing and squandering of loans. The alternative is to, at the minimum, heed Speaker Abbas' recommendations of strict oversight over loans and ensure commensurate returns in benefits to Nigerians.

LP Spokesperson — APC In a Fresh Plot to Infiltrate, Hijack Our Congress Structures

LP Spokesperson — APC In a Fresh Plot to Infiltrate, Hijack Our Congress Structures

Tony Akeni

The Interim Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party in Nigeria, Prince Tony Akeni has confirmed that the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is currently in a fresh and desperate plots to infiltrate and hijack the party again.

The Labour Party is just coming out of a very long leadership crisis believed to have been politically motivated and sponsored by the ruling party. The  Apapa—Abure leadership imbroglio and later INEC insistence on tenure expiration of the Abure led leadership crippled the party's progress and momentum since 2023 general election.

With 2027 general election already in Sight, the Senator Nenadi Usman-led Labour Party (LP) has cried out over what it described as a desperate plot by the Bola Ahmed led federal government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to hijack its structures by infiltrating its ranks.

The party's leadership has consistently maintained it's opposition against Tinubu’s  unending love for foreign travels amidst Nigeria’s growing security and economic challenges.

According to Akeni the information reaching the party’s headquarters from various states of the federation showed that the ruling party was positioning its moles to infiltrate the party structures through the scheduled party congresses at the ward, local government, state, zonal, and ultimately, the national level.

“We have been made aware of the heinous plot by the ruling APC to infiltrate our ranks at all levels to derail our forthcoming congresses."

“If they fail, they plan to get a seat on our party’s table to continue from where they stopped after failing to use former National Chairman, Julius Abure, to distract us from our goal of rebuilding our party.

“Nigerians are also aware of what the current administration has turned our institutions, such as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), into."

“We are all witnesses to what transpired during the by-elections, which were held in 16 out of the 36 states recently, and the manipulation of the ongoing voter registration exercise."

“Our nation cannot afford to have a repeat of the era where the American boxer, Mike Tyson, the late pop star, Michael Jackson, and Lionel Richie appear on our voters’ register.'

“As a party, we will continue to urge Nigerian voters to be vigilant. Eternal vigilance, as they say, is the price we all must pay to protect our democracy."

“The body language of INEC as presently constituted gives it away as an institution which is only ready to pander to the whims and caprices of the ruling party."

“We can only pray that whosoever is coming into office after the tenure of the current INEC boss expires in November or December is not going to throw the confidence of Nigerians down the drain", he explained.

In a statement earlier issued by Akeni on behalf of the party, he criticised Tinubu’s seemingly unending love for foreign travels amidst Nigeria’s growing security and economic challenges.

He said the president’s trip this time around indicated that he was increasingly becoming allergic to staying at home to tackle the nation’s problems.

President Tinubu left Nigeria for a 10-day working vacation in France and the United Kingdom as part of his 2025 annual leave on Thursday.

Akeni noted that available records show that 135 million Nigerians fell into poverty within the first 18 months of Tinubu’s administration due to difficult economic policies.

He equally pointed out that galloping inflation, weakening of Nigeria’s currency, the naira, and insecurity have been the hallmark of Tinubu’s rule since he took power in 2023.

Akeni said, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu departed Nigeria for yet another of his many overseas trips. “This time, the trip is officially explained as a 10-day vacation and part of his 2025 annual leave, which he will spend in France and the United Kingdom.

“As President Tinubu takes to the sky, he leaves behind a country ravaged by economic hardship where 135 million citizens fell into poverty in the first 18 months of his administration, caused by his difficult economic policies.

“Tinubu also leaves behind an insecurity of historic proportions, where 57 Nigerians die every day from various forms of violent death.

“This amounts to seven deaths more than Ukraine’s war casualties, which lose 50 citizens per day in its full-scale war with Russia, according to research by Mediazona and The Book of Memory Group, corroborated by a similar BBC study.

“The Nigerian casualty figures exclude deaths from daily traffic accidents, Nigeria’s frequent boat mishaps, and other civil hazards.

“You will recall that President Tinubu had only sat in office for four months after his swearing in on May 29, 2023, when he flew overseas on his first annual vacation. This was on October 2, 2023.

“This means that under the APC governance manual, four months made up one year for the Nigerian president to go on an annual vacation. This is historic for a post-inaugural president because it doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world.

“Since assuming office on May 29, 2023, President Tinubu has travelled and virtually ‘lived’ outside Nigeria for nearly 160 days. This is almost half of an entire year in only two years of office.

“Tracing this unproductive trend backwards to Buhari’s days, records show that APC produces dinner and toothpick presidents who eat breakfast in Abuja, have lunch in Paris, and belch in London.

“They enjoy costly vacations abroad like children enjoy excursions to amusement parks. From Buhari’s administration to Tinubu’s current rule, that is the only reason why billions of naira they vote every year for the Aso Villa presidential clinic perpetually empty into unknown pockets, and the clinic’s medicine shelves do not have drugs for even cramps.

“From late Buhari to Tinubu, APC has continued to produce nomadic presidents whose medical and social tourism cost our country billions of Naira in taxpayers’ money.”

The Labour Party’s interim spokesman said the party will do things differently should Nigerians vote it into power come 2027.

According to him, it is the government’s responsibility to put in place a standard healthcare system that would cater to...

Tinubu Should End His Nomad Vacation And Give Nigerians Real Governance — Labour Party

More than 57 Nigerians die everyday from various forms of violent death

Tinubu on an endless vacation

Labour Party National Publicity Secretary (Interim)  Prince Tony Akeni has said the Nigerian President Bola Tinubu should end his incessant nomadic vacation and give Nigerians real governance.

Tony in a statement made available to the press men on Friday  said  Tinubu embark on vacation leaving behind a country ravaged by economic hardship where 135million citizens fell into poverty in the first 18months of his administration, caused by his difficult economic policies.

"Yesterday September 4, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu departed Nigeria for yet another of his too many oversea trips."

"This time, the trip is officially explained as a 10-day vacation and part of his 2025 annual leave, which he will spend in France and the United Kingdom. "

"As President Tinubu takes to the sky, he leaves behind a country ravaged by economic hardship where 135million citizens fell into poverty in the first 18months of his administration, caused by his difficult economic policies. "

The Nigerian casualty figures exclude deaths from daily traffic accidents, Nigeria's frequent boat mishaps and other civil hazards."

APC's AHA Presidents

You will recall that President Tinubu had only sat in office for four months after his swearing in on May 29, 2023 when he flew overseas on his first annual vacation. This was on October 2, 2023.

This means that under the APC governance manual, four months made up one year for the Nigerian president to go on an annual vacation. This is historic for a post-inaugural president because it doesn't happen anywhere else in the world.

From Buhari's administration to Tinubu's current rule, that is the only reason why billions of naira they vote every year for the Aso Villa presidential clinic perpetually empty into unknown pockets and the clinic's medicine shelves do not have drugs for even cramps."

Prince Tony

"Nigeria of today can no longer afford At-Home-Abroad (AHA) nomadic leaders who have deliberately failed to build international standard health facilities in their own country but rather travel overseas for expensive extended periods, leaving their citizens trapped and helpless in the country's dangerous healthcare system, biting economic hardship, insecurity and all-round sufferings of our country's citizens."

"From late Buhari to Tinubu, APC has continued to produce nomad presidents whose medical and social tourism cost our country billions of naira in taxpayers money."

"Nigerians must ensure that the syndrome of AHA Presidents ends in 2027 by ending the APC run of our country and opting for a political party and president who will prioritize building for Nigerians global standard health facilities supremely equiped to treat the No. 1 citizen and presidents of other countries, thereby saving and additionally earning significant revenues for the country. "

"That is one of the promises and dividends of true democracy which the Labour Party stands for and will attain for Nigerians." Prince Tony concluded.

What is Tinubu Hiding from Nigerians, Covering from the Global Community?

What is Tinubu Hiding from Nigerians, Covering from the Global Community?

By Citizen Bolaji O. Akinyemi

A Presidency of Paradox

When Bola Ahmed Tinubu rode into power under the slogan of Renewed Hope, Nigerians expected a restoration of governance at home and credibility abroad. But two years down the line, what do we see? A President constantly on the move—shuttling between world capitals—while the very springboards of Nigeria’s diplomacy, its embassies and high commissions, remain headless and hollow.

This paradox begs the question: what is Tinubu hiding from Nigerians, and what is he trying to cover from the global community?

The Intellectual Spark: Dr. Ola Olateju’s Intervention

This question is not raised in a vacuum. It emerges from the detailed and courageous analysis of Dr. Ola Olateju in Political Panorama, Issue No. 17 (June 2, 2025), titled “Nigeria Without Ambassadors: A Silent Crisis in Tinubu’s Foreign Policy Vision.”

Olateju, a seasoned political scientist with a PhD from Swansea University and an impressive record of scholarship and civic engagement, laid bare the subsisting emptiness of our foreign embassies. His piece, meticulously researched, stripped away the excuses of “financial constraints” and “security vetting delays,” showing instead how Nigeria’s prolonged absence from global representation is a self-inflicted wound.

It is his intellectual labour that provides the canvas upon which I now paint this sharper, more conscience-pricking interrogation: if our embassies are empty, while our President is busy globe-trotting, then should we not ask—what exactly is being hidden, and from whom?

The Empty Embassies: Silence as Strategy

Since September 2023, Nigeria has had no substantive ambassadors in most of its foreign missions. As Olateju’s essay demonstrates, the cost is more than administrative; it is strategic self-sabotage.

Ambassadors are the eyes, ears, and voices of the state abroad. Their absence reduces Nigeria’s foreign presence to shadows. It silences our voice in multilateral forums, weakens our hand in negotiations, and abandons our citizens abroad.

This silence is not oversight; it is strategy. And therein lies the hidden truth: a deliberate personalization of diplomacy.

Personalization of Statecraft

Tinubu’s foreign travels, devoid of ambassadorial structures, centralize negotiations in his person. Trade deals, bilateral talks, and multilateral commitments—normally institutionalized through embassies—are reduced to presidential handshakes and fleeting announcements.

What happens when the President returns to Abuja? Who follows up in those capitals? Who drafts the cables, negotiates the details, and locks in Nigeria’s interest?

By refusing to appoint ambassadors, Tinubu ensures that accountability rests nowhere but his office. This creates room for cronies to monopolize opportunities that should be national in character. As Olateju rightly observed, diplomacy without diplomats is nothing but theatre—and costly theatre at that.

The Cost of a Silent Nigeria

1. Strategic Marginalization:

Nigeria, once the conscience of Africa, is absent in key multilateral spaces. Who represents us on ECOWAS’ crisis over the Sahel? Who lobbies for our developmental interests in Geneva? Silence has become our policy.

2. Diaspora Abandonment:

With 15 million Nigerians abroad contributing over $20 billion annually in remittances, embassies should be their shield. Instead, citizens are stranded in detention cells, without an ambassador to escalate their cases.

3. Economic Self-Sabotage:

Investment thrives on credibility. Ambassadors open doors, lobby investors, and defend national interest. Nigeria’s absence has meant lost opportunities while smaller African states like Rwanda and Ghana punch above their weight.

4. Institutional Demoralization:

Dozens of career diplomats languish in Abuja, waiting for deployment. The President’s indecision is their exile. What message does this send about merit, professionalism, and service?

What is Being Hidden?

The refusal to appoint ambassadors hides three things:

Weak Institutions: Nigeria’s institutions are so hollowed that governance depends on personal performance. Tinubu cannot trust the system, so he centralizes it in himself.

Crony Advantage: By bypassing ambassadors, he shields sensitive trade and diplomatic dealings from institutional scrutiny, allowing cronies to corner opportunities.

Diplomatic Paralysis: The absence covers the fact that Nigeria has no coherent foreign policy doctrine under this government—only episodic travels and empty rhetoric.

Covering from the Global Community

Every handshake abroad is a performance, a mask to cover the dysfunction at home. But global actors know. They see the absence of Nigerian envoys. They note the void in negotiations. They sense the weakness.

And the danger is this: in diplomacy, vacuums do not remain empty. Other powers step in. Nigeria’s silence opens the door for France, China, and even smaller African states to dictate the terms of continental politics.

The Moral Reckoning

Nigeria once led the anti-apartheid struggle. We brokered peace in Liberia and Sierra Leone. Our diplomats were legends of courage and clarity. Today, our embassies are ghost houses.

“Ilu ki i wa lai ni olori” — no town exists without a leader. Yet Nigeria’s missions exist without ambassadors. Our nation wanders without a diplomatic head.

Olateju’s intervention is timely. It is a scholarly alarm bell. But beyond scholarship lies the moral reckoning: will Nigeria continue to drift leaderless in global politics while our President performs at summits?

Call to Action: Let Nigeria Speak Again

Tinubu must:

1. Immediately nominate ambassadors for Senate confirmation.

2. Appoint on merit, not patronage.

3. Rebuild a coherent foreign policy doctrine.

4. Restore embassies as the springboard of diplomacy, not presidential theatrics.

Conclusion: The Question that Haunts Us

Dr. Ola Olateju has done the intellectual heavy lifting, exposing the silent crisis in Tinubu’s foreign policy vision. My task has been to translate that intellectual diagnosis into a political and moral charge.

So, what is Tinubu hiding from Nigerians? That our institutions are too weak to function. That diplomacy has been hijacked for personal advantage. That Nigeria, in truth, is absent where it most matters.

And what is he covering from the global community? That Africa’s so-called giant has lost its roar.

But history has ears, and silence is never permanent. Nigeria will speak again—if not through this government, then through the people’s eventual awakening.
