CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE: US Delegation Prepares To Brief President Donald Trump After Nigeria Fact-Finding Mission

CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE: US Delegation Prepares To Brief President Donald Trump After Nigeria Fact-Finding Mission

Christians should be able to live in their ancestral homeland without fear of genocidal Fulani - Moore

A US congressional led Fact-Finding team says it will brief United States President Donald Trump after completing  it's Fact-Finding mission in Nigeria over rising reports of killings and targeted attacks in the Northeast, North Central and many parts of the country.

Background

The delegation, led by Congressman Riley Moore, arrived in Nigeria on Sunday for a multi-day assessment.
The visit followed escalating international concern over repeated viol3nce affecting communities in Benue State and other regions.
Washington had earlier listed Nigeria as a "Country of Particular Concern" over allegations of Christian persecution.

What Happened

The five-member team visited IDP camps, church communities, traditional leaders and survivors who reported repeated att@cks.
Moore said the team gathered “ground truth” from directly affected populations.
Security conditions required the delegation to travel in armoured vehicles across Benue.

Government / Official Reactions

In Abuja, the team met National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi (SAN).
Nigerian officials maintained that the viol3nce has no religious undertone and is linked to broader cr!m!nal activity.
The Federal Government earlier rejected claims of a “Christian genocide.”

Eyewitness Accounts

Moore recounted testimonies from women who lost entire families during att@cks.
One survivor described how five of her children were k!lled before her eyes while she was pregnant.
Another said her husband, daughters and unborn child were lost in a similar incident, leaving her traumatised.

Public Response

The accounts have triggered renewed global debate on the nature of the viol3nce.
Advocacy groups have urged Washington to compel stronger humanitarian and security interventions.
Some Nigerian civil society groups welcomed the visit but warned against over-politicising the conflict.

Analysis

The visit reflects a growing shift in US attention toward Nigeria’s security crisis.
Moore dismissed explanations linking the viol3nce solely to climate-resource tensions, citing repeated att@cks on churches and IDP camps.
Analysts say the upcoming briefing to Trump could influence future diplomatic, humanitarian, or sanctions-related actions.

Moore Confirmation

While in Benue, I met with dozens of Christians who were driven from their homes and subjected to horrific violence and now live in IDP camps.

They told harrowing stories that will remain with me for the rest of my life.

One woman was forced to watch as they killed her husband and five children. She, and her unborn child, barely escaped.

Another woman’s family was murdered in front of her and her baby was ripped from her womb.

One man’s family was hacked to death in front of his eyes and his armed was permanently mangled.

There are more than 600,000 Christians in IDP camps in Benue State alone.

These Christians should be able to live in their ancestral homeland without fear of genocidal Fulani.

Conclusion & Call to Action

Moore said he and House Appropriations Chairman Tom Cole will present a full report to Trump before month-end.
With Nigeria insisting the crisis is not religiously motivated, diplomatic narratives appear likely to intensify in the coming weeks.

According to him, "We met with Bishops Anagbe and Dugu and Tor Tiv. We met with suffering IDPs who are all Christians. They are forced to live in camps that are regularly attacked by Fulani Islamic radicals."

We heard heartbreaking stories from survivors of this horrific genocidal campaign committed by the Fulani, including a woman who was forced to watch as five of her children were killed.

I've never seen anything like it. It will stay with me the rest of my life.

I am working on a report to @POTUS that will outline a path forward to work with the Nigerian government in a coordinated and cooperative manner to end the slaughter of innocent Christians in the Middle Belt and stop the ongoing terrorist threat in the Northeast.

We will brief the President soon. More to come.

Terrorism: US Congress Urged To Pressure Nigeria To Scrap Sharia Law, Disband Hisbah Over Alleged Religious Persecution

Terrorism: US Congress Urged To Pressure Nigeria To Scrap Sharia Law, Disband Hisbah Over Alleged Religious Persecution

United States lawmakers have been urged to mount direct diplomatic pressure on the Nigerian government to abolish Sharia criminal law in the 12 northern states where it has operated since 2000 and to disband Hisbah religious-police groups accused of enabling extremist abuses.

The call was made on Tuesday during a joint House congressional session convened in response to President Donald Trump’s recent redesignation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC). The hearing, led by Appropriations Vice Chair Mario Díaz-Balart, focused on what witnesses described as escalating religious persecution and systemic violence against Christian communities across northern Nigeria and the Middle Belt.

Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, Dr. Ebenezer Obadare, told lawmakers that Sharia-based governance and Hisbah enforcement structures have become “ideological and operational cover” for jihadist groups such as Boko Haram, ISWAP and radicalised Fulani militias, who allegedly carry out forced conversions, enforce extremist rule and operate with “near-total impunity.”

Obadare outlined a two-step policy recommendation for Washington: “The United States should work with the Nigerian military to neutralise Boko Haram, and then pressure President Tinubu to make Sharia law unconstitutional in the twelve northern states and disband the Hisbah groups enforcing Islamic law on all citizens regardless of religion.”

While acknowledging that Nigeria has taken steps following Trump’s CPC directive—including new airstrikes on Boko Haram targets, recruitment of 30,000 additional police officers and the declaration of a national security emergency—Obadare insisted the U.S. must “keep up the pressure.”

Throughout the hearing, lawmakers cited recent mass abductions, blasphemy imprisonments and deadly attacks on Christian communities as evidence that the Nigerian state is failing to prosecute perpetrators and, in some cases, enabling what they termed “religious cleansing.”

Rep. Chris Smith described Nigeria as “ground zero for global anti-Christian persecution,” while Rep. Brian Mast demanded immediate disarmament of militias and the prosecution of attackers.

Officials from the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and Alliance Defending Freedom International detailed ongoing atrocities and urged the U.S. government to impose conditionality on security assistance and apply targeted sanctions to compel accountability.

Both Republican and Democratic members signalled support for Díaz-Balart’s FY26 appropriations proposals aimed at addressing the crisis. Lawmakers confirmed that a formal report is being drafted for President Trump, which may recommend restrictions on U.S. aid should Nigerian authorities fail to act.

Nigeria was first designated as a CPC in 2020 under Trump, a status reversed by President Biden before being reinstated on October 31 this year, alongside a warning of possible military action if Abuja does not curb extremist violence.

Tuesday’s hearing solidified a growing consensus in Washington: that dismantling Sharia criminal codes and eliminating Hisbah religious police are now seen as central to addressing what U.S. legislators describe as one of the world’s most severe and underreported religious-freedom crises.

The press statement by the Moore office confirmed that during the meeting, Nigerian officials shared their government’s challenges and concerns regarding counterterrorism, security assistance, protection of vulnerable communities, and ongoing issues involving violence across Nigeria.

President Trump does not make idle threats.

According to the statement, Congressman Moore will continue monitoring new developments and pushing the Nigerian government to accept the open hand of cooperation to stop the ongoing persecution and violence against Christians and combat the threat terrorist groups pose to the Nigerian population.

Congressman Moore issued the following statement:

“Today, I had a frank, honest, and productive discussion with senior members of the Nigerian government regarding the horrific violence and persecution Christians face and the ongoing threat terrorism poses across Nigeria. I made it crystal clear that the United States must see tangible steps to ensure that Christians are not subject to violence, persecution, displacement, and death simply for believing in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We stand ready to work cooperatively with the Nigerians to help their nation combat the terrorism perpetrated by Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani militants against their population, specifically Christians in the Northeast and Middle Belt regions of Nigeria. The Nigerian government has the chance to strengthen and deepen its relationship with the United States. President Trump and Congress are united and serious in our resolve to end the violence against Christians and disrupt and destroy terrorist groups within Nigeria. I urge the Nigerians to work with us in cooperation and coordination on this critical issue.”

The delegation included:

Mallam Nuhu Ribadu – NSA and Leader of the Delegation

Her Excellency, Bianca Ojukwu - Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

Mr. Kayode Egbetokun - Inspector General of Police

Chief Lateef Olasunkami Fagbemi, SAN - Attorney General of the Federation

General Olufemi Olatunbosun Oluyede - Chief of Defence Staff

Lt. Gen. EAP Undiendeye - Chief of Defence Intelligence Ms. Idayat Hassan - Special Adviser to ONSA

Ambassador Ibrahim Babani - Director of Foreign Relations, ONSA

Ambassador Nuru Biu - Acting CDA, Embassy of Nigeria

Succinct to the woes facing the citizens, while the Nuhu Ribadu led APC Federal Government team are in Washington DC, Boko Haram in Borno State laid ambush against the Nigerian Army. A Brigadier General and all of his troops was annihilated by the Terrorists.

Also in Kebbi State, school girls have been kidnapped. Military troops on the rescue operation also fell in the terrorists ambush.

In Kwara State, armed bandits invaded a church, (Chris Apostolic Church) . Many have been kidnapped too.

The Tinubu led APC pro-terrorist, bandits and Fulani killers lack any modicum to stop the wanton killings in Nigeria. Insecurity has long ago become a very lucrative business for the government officials including military senior hierarchies and the criminals bandits at the determent of the defenseless citizens.

Today Nigeria has become an horrific crime scene.

Bandits storm churches to kill and abduct Christians. Children are kidnapped from schools by Boko Haram Terrorists. A Brigadier General was shot dead by ISWAP terrorists. Every day brings fresh chaos yet the Terrorists enablers, the APC led pro Terrorists government remains silent.

No other options available than for the outsiders to come and fix what our leaders refuse to confront.
Nigerians need safety, accountability and real action, not silence  by the anti people led wicked regime of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Christian Genocide: Donald Trump drops another explosive statement Says He has just approved Tinubu's Request For US To Invade Nigeria

Christian Genocide: Donald Trump drops another explosive statement Says He has just approved Tinubu's Request For US To Invade Nigeria

United States president Donald Trump has said Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Was the One Who Reported Christian Killing in 2014 — I’ve Just Approved His Own Petition!”  “Tinubu Asked the White House to Invade Nigeria in 2014 Over Christian killings — I’ve Just Approved His Own Request Under His Government!”

Trump has dropped explosive statement, revealing that Nigeria’s current president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, once petitioned the White House in 2014, accusing the then Nigerian government of committing Genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

Trump said, “In 2014, Tinubu and his APC people submitted a petition to the White House, saying Christians were being k!||ed in Nigeria — a Christian genoc!de. They begged America to act. I’ve just approved that same request — under Tinubu’s own government. Isn’t that something?”

He continued, “It’s funny. The same man who cried to us for help back then is now sitting in the same seat he accused of genocide. And guess what? I just signed the very petition he brought. That’s justice, that’s full circle.”

Trump, speaking with his usual boldness, said:

“In 2014, Tinubu and his people begged the United States to invade Nigeria — they said Christians were being slaughtered and the government was doing nothing. They asked us to step in, and guess what? I’ve just approved that same request — but now, under Tinubu’s own government.”

Trump added with his trademark tone, “I know everything. I have the documents. We don’t forget. When America moves, the world feels it. Nigeria is about to learn that again.”

“Tinubu started this in 2014. Now he’s going to see how it ends — big time,” Trump concluded.

Under the APC leaderships from Buhari till date, Nigeria government condoned Terrorists. More than ever, insecurity has taken many fronts, Boko Haram, ISWAP, bandits, Fulani herdsmen and kidnapping for ransoms. The primary targets of these Terrorists are Christians, their churches and their communities for total extermination

The Tinubu's led APC pro-terrorist government must end the killings, sanitized the Nigerian Army and security apparatus of the state, flushed out Terrorist elements sabotaging the genuine efforts to conquered the insurgency.

Prolonged phantom war against terrorists has become a multi billion dollars business for  the top politicians and political leaders in government, top military hierarchies, certain traditional and religion leaders in the country.

End of Ukraine —Russia War; Trump, Putin to Oversee a three-stage peace plan — ceasefire, elections in Ukraine and signing of a final agreement

End of Ukraine —Russia War; Trump, Putin to Oversee a three-stage peace plan — ceasefire, elections in Ukraine and signing of a final agreement

Russia and the United States are proposing a three-stage peace plan, which includes a ceasefire, elections in Ukraine and the signing of a final agreement. This was reported by Fox News journalist Jackie Heinrich, citing sources.

According to sources, both the United States and Russia consider new elections in Ukraine as a key condition for the success of the settlement process.

Russian President Vladimir Putin sees a high probability of electing a president in Ukraine, believing that any candidate other than Zelensky would be more flexible in negotiations and concessions.

US President, Donald Trump is reportedly ready to accept any election outcome in Ukraine, including the possibility of a pro-Russian candidate being elected.

It should be noted that deceptions and Hippocracies of the former US President Joe Biden and other NATO leaders in their determination to weakened and defeat Russia on the battle fields kept the war till now as Russia claimed was always opened to negotiations.

With the change of batton in Pentagon, Ukraine has only one option on the table, "negotiate with Russia".

U.S President, Donald Trump has expressed his desires to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine.

Writing on his social media platform Truth Social, he said that by pushing to settle the war he was doing Russia and its president a "very big favour".

American leader had previously said he would negotiate a settlement to Russia's full-scale invasion launched in February 2022, in a single day.

Russia has not yet responded to the remarks, but senior officials have said in recent days that there is a small window of opportunity for Moscow to deal with the new US administration. However, President Vladimir Putin has said repeatedly that he is prepared to negotiate an end to the war, which first began in 2014, but that Ukraine would have to accept the reality of Russian territorial gains, which are currently about 20% of its land. He also refuses to allow Ukraine to join Nato.

Kyiv does not want to give up its territory, although President Volodymyr Zelensky has conceded he may have to cede some currently occupied land temporarily.

On Tuesday Trump told a news conference he would be talking to Putin "very soon"

But in his Truth Social post on Wednesday, he went further: "I'm going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR," he wrote.

"Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don't make a 'deal', and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries."

Continuing, he said: "Let's get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way - and the easy way is always better. It's time to "MAKE A DEAL"."

Russia's deputy UN ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy earlier told Reuters news agency that the Kremlin would need to know what Trump wants in a deal to stop the war before the country moves forward.

Meanwhile Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the World Economic Forum on Tuesday that at least 200,000 peacekeepers would be needed under any agreement.

And he told Bloomberg that any peacekeeping force for his country would have to include US troops to pose a realistic deterrent to Russia.

"It can't be without the United States... Even if some European friends think it can be, no it will not be," he said, adding that no-one else would risk such a move without the US.

While Ukraine's leaders might appreciate this tougher-talking Trump - they have always said Putin only understands strength - the initial reaction in Kyiv to the US president's comments suggest that it is actions people are waiting for, not words.

With the change of batton in Pentagon, Ukraine has only one option on the table, "negotiate with Russia".

Incumbent Joe Biden Steps Down from US Presidential Race

The 46th and incumbent US President Joe Biden has announced that he will end his candidacy for re-election.

According to the sitting president, "it is in the best interest of my party and the country".

His withdrawal comes four months before Americans go to the polls, upending the race for the White House.

Biden stepping down follows weeks of intense pressure from fellow Democrats after a faltering debate performance against Republican Donald Trump at the end of June.

According to a letter posted to his social media account, president said it had been the greatest honour of his life to serve as president.

And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling the duties as President for the remainder of my term," he wrote in his statement.

Calls for Biden to withdraw from the race began to grow after a disastrous debate performance in late June against Donald Trump.

During the debate he was criticised for often being incoherent and speaking in a weak voice - something which his party claimed as down to a cold.

President Biden thanked his Vice President Kamala Harris, saying she was an "extraordinary partner".

"And let me express my heartfelt appreciation for the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me," his statement added.

"I believe today and always have: that there is nothing America can’t do - when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America."

He wrote that he would address the nation on the matter next week.

Last week he returned to his home in Delaware after being diagnosed with Covid, but said on Friday he was looking forward to "getting back on the campaign trail next week".

He has previously said only the "Lord Almighty" could make him withdraw, but then later said he would consider withdrawing if he had a health condition.

The Republican candidate Trump who recently escaped assassination remains a favorite to return to white house.
