JULY 19TH BIRTHDAY RALLY: Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO), Support Groups Meet in Ibadan (PHOTOS )

All Coalition for Peter Obi Groups, leadership of various Support Groups and interested organizations in Oyo State on Saturday 12th July 2025 held a strategic meeting in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital .

The meeting convened by the Oyo State Coordinating Council of the Obi-dients Movement took place at the NLC Secretariat, Agodi Ibadan, focused on consolidating the movement's  fronts in the state going forward to 2027.

The groups stated their determinations to make the July 19th Birthday programs of the symbol of the movement H E Peter Obi a peaceful and successful outing .

  

Call for a review of Oyo State Youth Award: I was unfairly overlooked, award given to my closest contender — Abiodun Adediran

 

Dear Editor, Hot News Naija,

I'm Abiodun Adediran from Ogbomoso. I'm writing to highlight concerns regarding the Oyo State Youth Award, a subsection of the Oyo State Youth Summit 2025, powered by the Ministry of Youths and Sport under Hon. Wasilat Adegoke's leadership.

Despite garnering 1,509 votes (36%) in the Governance category, I was unfairly overlooked, and the award was given to my closest contender with 1,138 votes (27%) without justification.

I respectfully request that you consider publishing this matter to:

1. Expose irregularities in the award process

2. Advocate for a review of the decision

3. Support young people's rights to participate in governance and leadership

This issue affects not just me, but the broader Oyo State youth community, who deserve fair representation.
