PRESS STATEMENT: ADC Youth Wing resorting to personal attacks against Dr. Tanko , Very Unfortunate — Obident Movement

The attention of the Obidient Movement Worldwide Borno State Chapter has been drawn to the recent statement by the ADC Youth Wing targeting our respected Global Coordinator, Dr. Tanko Yunusa who just left Borno and Yobe enroute Katsina State even on his birthday being today, we wake up with this.

Rather than dealing with the fundamental issues raised by Dr. Tanko for the collective good, the Youth Wing unfortunately resorted to personal attacks.

For the record as investigated by us , Dr. Tanko Yunusa voted in the FCT Bwari Area Council comprising 8 polling units, and he delivered all of them to Mr. Peter Obi with a landslide victory. This is verifiable. His loyalty, consistency, and commitment to the ideals of the Obidient Movement cannot be questioned.

Beyond that, Dr. Tanko’s track record in Nigerian politics is well-documented:

As IPAC Chairman, he successfully led two tenures and institutionalized the Political Parties Leadership and Training Institute in Kuru, which continues to train political leaders from national chairmen down to the grassroots across the 37 states including the FCT.

As a member of the National Peace Committee led by former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), he contributed to Nigeria’s peaceful democratic transitions.

In the struggle for democratic accountability, he also led the Save Nigeria Group as Field Marshal, a movement that played a decisive role in stabilizing Nigeria’s democracy, including securing President Jonathan’s tenure.

So, when referencing Dr. Tanko Yunusa’s political activism and democratic contributions, one can go on and on. The facts speak louder than personal attacks. We therefore urge critics to engage with the issues he has raised, which are for the benefit of all Nigerians and for the strengthening of our democratic institutions.

The Obidient Movement is not a political party but a people-driven platform inspired by the vision of Mr. Peter Obi, who remains strongly with the Movement. While we strongly supported the idea of the coalition how ever it must be seen to be fair to all concerned with equity and justice , every genuine stakeholder must now understand this and guaranteed.

We urge all stakeholders to focus on unity and the larger vision of building a New Nigeria. Personal attacks and divisive rhetoric only serve our opponents. Together, under the ideology of Mr. Peter Obi, we remain unshaken in our resolve to restore hope and rebuild lives.

AGOBI 2027 CAMPAIGN

Take Action Nigeria TV (TAN TV)*, Official Broadcast Organ, Coming Soon.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Fellow citizens of the

Federal Republic of Nigeria,

Prince Tony

In 2027, about 230million Nigerians will have another opportunity to break the chains of ruthless, rudderless and and remorseless misrule and tyranny in our nation by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

If the right decisions are taken by stakeholders of our country's opposition political parties and electorates, we shall achieve the urgent objective of emancipating our country through the ballot in 2027.

If, however, leaders of the progressive opposition missed presidential victory in 2027 through wrong decisions, the consequences shall be dire for our country in countless ways.

One of these is that they shall detain again the destiny of 230million Nigerians and their prospects of boundless progress and prosperity in liberty for another four years or much more, chained in the agonies of unprecedented economic hardship, relentless locust havoc, untamed borrowings and foreign debt stockpile, wastage and corruption, insecurity of lives and properties and multi-dimensional destruction of the concept of governance in our common fatherland.

Fortunately, today Nigeria is blessed with two gigantic and outstanding political opposition figures, each one eminently qualified to preside over our country as President and recover our nation to the path of greatness beginning from 2027. These are His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, now of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and His Excellency Peter Obi, currently of the Labour Party.

Unfortunately, however, incontestable intelligence and outcomes of many months' study commissioned by the steering committee of the AGOBI '27 campaign project have unveiled two barricading truths against the hope of either Atiku or Peter Obi winning Nigeria's Presidential election in 2027, if the wrong decisions are taken by one or both leaders. The second truth is that the ruling APC has strategically, scientifically and comprehensively put in place practically insurmountable obstacles designed to prevent free and fair elections through which either His Excellency Atiku or His Excellency Peter Obi, contesting against each other from different political party ballots against Tinubu on the APC ballot, should ever hope to emerge victorious in the 2027 Presidential race.

For brevity, the following are a few of 25 airtight barricades revealed by our research that will abort either Atiku or Peter Obi winning the 2027 presidential election if they make the fatal, historically regrettable and irredeemable mistake of contesting the 2027 presidential election on the platforms of two separate or competing political parties.

*1.  INEC Cancellation of Physical Permanent Voters Card (PVC), Replacement with Computer Generated Voter's Slip for 2027 Elections*

This masterstroke of electoral fraud ingenuity by President Tinubu and his APC is designed to abolish and replace physical identification and verification of voters on polling day.

In place of BIVAS tablets verifying the physical presence and ballot qualification of a voter on the voting line - while Atiku, Peter Obi and other presidential candidates shall be burning trillions of hard-earned naira campaigning and exhausting themselves supplying logistics needs of their party structures nationwide - President Tinubu's APC shall simply quarantine a body of invisible, inaccessible, security fortified and oath-sworn computer wizkids in air-conditioned strongrooms of INEC's national headquarters and state electoral commission offices nationwide.

Sitting at ease working with just their fingers without breaking a sweat, they would generate computer concocted wide victory margins in targeted states of the federation as Nigeria's voters database. These will be used to return Tinubu, all APC candidates nationwide, including those who defected in the last minute from other political parties to the APC to serve and "stand on Tinubu's mandate" instead of that of their fatherland and oaths of office.

The fraud being described here will play out precisely as INEC's outgoing chairman, Prof. Yakubu Mahmood, audaciously accomplished in generating, unchallenged till date, purported new voters registered in Osun state, the home state of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It is important for you to recall that in Osun, a state with a population of *4.6million* citizens, Tinubu's INEC recorded *393,269* as the number of newly registered voters in just one week of commencing the nationwide exercise which began on August 18. On the contrary, in the entire five South-East states which have a combined population of more than *36million* citizens, a paltry *1,998* new voters were recorded by Tinubu's INEC under chairman, Yakubu Mahmood. This implies that Osun state with a population of 4.6million citizens shall have new voters 196 times more than the entire five states of South-East which has a combined population of 36million-plus citizens.

The same olympian margins have been silently concocted for Lagos state and other parts of the country which President Tinubu has earmarked for 2027 landslide victory, all of these monumental phantom data frauds yet to be challenged in court by the sleepy opposition leaders of Nigeria.

*2.  Armed Security Lockdown*

On Presidential election day, which is also now ignorantly celebrated as the same day for all other elective offices nationwide, Nigeria shall be locked down from border to border as if in a state of civil war. Weeks before the elections and after, all INEC results announcement offices at state and its national headquarters in Abuja shall be garrisoned with massive, heavily armed military and para-military forces and anti-riot armoured tanks against access by opposition party officials, reporters of uncooperative media houses, election observers and independent inquirers, making INEC offices nationwide look more like army barracks than an election dispensing civil agency. This military lockdown will be justified with the unfailing reference of "security threat reports" concocted by government itself and used to maximize movement restrictions against opposition political parties, their tactically isolated and disbanded supporters under the "no movement" manual that is conventionally enforced on election day.

Nigerians will recall that President Tinubu performed the groundbreaking ceremony of a new INEC headquarters on June 17, 2025 after approval of the project by the Federal Executive Council. The presidential election fraud project above referred is at the heart of the new INEC headquarters edifice. Besides a 1,000-seat auditorium and shaded, Fort Knox fortified IT floors with conduit cameras, it shall have several cryptic exclusive "keep-off" zones, including a museum, underground basement and detention cells which are special components of its design. Accordingly, the new INEC national headquarters, which FCT sheriff Nyesom Wike promised shall be "completed *before* 2027," is not a patriotic administrative initiative but mainly an election rigging facility for the 2027 elections.

Under the inevitable outcome of the above scenario, Tinubu and his mandate decampees will be returned massively back to office unless their ongoing schemes are challenged, defeated before time and the two frontline opposition leaders of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi make the right compromise on their presidential ticket standing.

*3.  Rigging Funding Treasury Guaranteed for APC Elected Politicians, Decampees*

Bola Ahmed Tinubu actually began the campaign for his second term election on the very first day of his first term when he was sworn in at Eagles Square. The first statement of his 2027 re-election campaign that day was when he declared with Caesar swagger, "Subsidy is gone!"

Since then, through fuel subsidy removal and historical multiple stream tax regimes, the Tinubu administration has amassed and equipped sitting governors, national and state Houses of Assembly lawmakers, local government council chairmen and those decamping in droves from other political parties to his APC with astronomical treasuries they never dreamed of possible in their lifetime. That is why his APC now has and controls 72 Senators in the upper parliament out of 109 from its original 59 members, and 207 House of Rep members from an original 176 members. The tally will jerk up from more cross-carpeting by unpatriotic stomach infrastructure decampees close to the 2027 general elections.

Tinubu's far-seeing core objective of his subsidy removal largesse to the states and political office holders nationwide was not mere presidential obligation or development magnanimity but calculated from inception to lure as many nomad monkeys of the other political parties as possible into his APC camp. This is to ensure that every inch of soil in their various states and constituencies is either won or "snatched" for APC victory and Tinubu's second term return by empowering them with funds beyond their wildest imagination.

*4.  A Nation's Betrayal Triangle, Nigeria Police, Military and Judiciary*

Towards assured second term return of President Tinubu while holding down progress and modern advancement of the Nigerian people in step with the rest of the world, police, military and para-military brass of all armed forces of Nigeria shall be bride-fattened with unheard-of benefits in budgets running to trillions of naira outside legal statutory provisions.

For the judiciary, funds have already been mobilized for dazzling mansions comprising 40 housing units in a new judges' estate to be built in Katampe district of the FCT. They shall be furnished, dedicated as FCT judges' piece of paradise and handed over to the judges before the 2027 elections, and they are not hiding it.

Tinubu's 40 castles of paradise comprise 20 units for FCT High Court judges, 10 for Federal High Court judges and 10 for Appeal Court justices. Needless to state, it is from these tiers of the Nigerian judiciary that critical federal election tribunals of 2027 shall be constituted. On September 23, 2024 FCT emperor Nyesom Wike promised on behalf of Tinubu that these mansions will be completed before 2027.

The mansions will come with high-tech security apparatus, including multi-trillion naira street cameras and drones to separate and protect FCT judges and their families from the tormenting plague of daily insecurity, poverty induced crime rampage which afflict ordinary Nigerians and war-zone massacres rampant in our country.

As you read this, don't forget that Nigerians are not expected to think, having lost their right to do so a long time ago. So, do not think that this "New Hope Agenda" infrastructure breakthrough for judges of our country is a corruption project to help ease Tinubu and his APC administration's return to office in 2027. Just simply understand that a rent-free tenant does not tell his landlord to sweep compound or "fall out" from his own house.

Also don't forget to remember that Nigeria's elite judges have been homeless IDPs living under bridges all these years and desperately need this uplifting by Jagaban, the Aso Villa Knight of Valour, into human homes at last.

With Herodian swag, President Tinubu personally declared on September 2, 2025 that his administration had met its revenue target for the 2025 budget year as early as August, more than a clear quarter before the end of the budget year. Sourcing the funds for the judges wonder project and similar ones towards his assured second-term rebound shall not be a challenge to his APC administration.

With 2027 second-term election as their principal priority instead of governance, in 2027 there shall be more than enough funds for all election victory or rigging schemes and logistics. These include budgets for APC's nationwide network of onshore and offshore election day ballot thugs, violence and mayhem recruitment as experienced in 2023. Only in 2027, their rampage against free and fair elections shall be far more savage unless the opposition led by His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Peter Obi and others come together for sincere and selfless, masses sensitive compromise and throw their combined weights and resources behind the campaigns of pro-democracy bodies like SDMA, CUPP, Open Nigeria, NADECO USA, Upright Nigeria Foundation, GCPPI, New Nigeria Movers and Nigeria's Gen-Z army to completely overhaul and viscerally amend Nigeria's electoral laws. The top notch of that campaign is SDMA's call to remove the power of Mr. President and Governors to appoint INEC and judiciary officials at federal and state levels respectively, amongst others. A campaign that should be thoroughly  accomplished before the first sun of 2027 rises upon our country.

*5.  A National Call to Atiku*

After late Muhammadu Buhari's still recent, punishing woeful eight years of two harrowing under-achieving terms as President of Nigeria,  a survey of the electorates and pulse of Nigeria's political peer shows that voters and election influencers in majority geopolitical zones (South-West, South-East, South-South, North Central and Middle Belt states) will boycott another Presidential candidate from Buhari's Hausa-Fulani stock and rather vote for Tinubu as a bitter, unpleasant but better alternative in territorial consolation.

The voters in these large belts of our country have taken a fierce and resolute stance; the stance that rather than vote another Northern Hausa-Fulani candidate as President of Nigeria in 2027 and shortchange Southern Nigeria of a two-term tenure, they would put their vote and resources free to return Tinubu for a second term, even if it were the devil himself.

We respectfully entreat Your Excellency Atiku Abubakar to commission an independent, incognito and dispassionate  survey of your own on this claim. Such survey will prove that our finding is true to the hilt.

Knowing, therefore, the inevitable consequences of Your Excellency going forward to contest the Presidency in 2027, given the other four study outcomes above and others which space will not permit, we of this committee, on behalf of the majority of 230million Nigerians, appeal to Your Excellency's sense of duty, legacy, patriotism and submission to the will of Almighty Allah to save Nigeria from the plunge to infinite social-economic and insecurity calamities which our country will continue to suffer under the one party state tyranny that the present APC administration has determined to plunge our country into if stakeholders fail to demonstrate foresight, cooperation and compromise and make the APC to retain power beyond 2027.

Our entreaty to Your Excellency is that earnestly considering the above circumstances, you would appreciate that the only pathway forward is to magnanimously step into the shoes of a statesman, accept the mantle of modern day Father of the Nigerian nation, lead nationalist and liberator of our century. This you would do for our country by giving your blessing, putting your weight, structures, goodwill and institutions behind the man Peter Obi to run as the Presidential candidate of the opposition on your behalf and that of all Nigerians against the APC behemoth in 2027.

We assure Your Excellency that if the circumstances were reversed and Peter Obi were in your shoes, we would have requested exactly the same concession and sacrifices of him for you.

*The AGOBI Rally Call*

Fellow countrymen, after nearly one year of study, surveys and consultations across the six geopolitical zones and having the foregoing in view, our alliance has put together and hereby unveils Nigeria's now foremost political freedom project since Independence in 1960. This is the project we have named and hereby announce to you as "Atiku Givus Obi 2027" or AGOBI '27 for short.

In the weeks and months to come, we will unveil a lineup of local and international activities of the AGOBI journey to 2027.

*Conclusion*

Atiku and Peter Obi contesting the Presidency from separate political parties against each other in 2027 will be giving Tinubu a free ride, guaranteed ride to second term.

Should His Excellency Atiku Abubakar and his advisers ignore the patriotic AGOBI entreaty before him, his labours and those of the ADC to win the Presidency in 2027 will go down the drain. This will come principally from a combination of two factors, amongst others. One is the formidable and unconscionable rigging ambush of Tinubu and his ruling APC. Two is massive swing votes by nearly all Southern Nigeria states for Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a sentimental alternative, bad as the recourse may be.

As with Atiku, so shall it be with Peter Obi. If PO fails to make good the AGOBI roadmap with Atiku, as with Atiku so shall it be with Peter Obi; for the second backbreaking time, all the labours of Peter Obi and the Obidients of Nigeria will be flushed down the drain. King of African wolves, Tinubu's known and hidden aces will defeat the opposition's 2027 bid to end his rule, ending their efforts in pains, humiliation, irredeemable regrets and staggering funding losses wasted in a blind, futile election project that will be like building a skyscraper with ashes. Only an extraordinary act of God, not man, could dent this coming reality.

On the other hand, while Tinubu could easily defeat both Atiku and Peter Obi contesting the Presidency on separate ballots by rigging federal machineries and institutions against their divided votes, a hundred Tinubus with a hundred-fold of all the structures and institutions at his command cannot return to office in 2027 if Atiku gives PO his blessings to run as Presidential choice of ADC and Labour Party coalition. Because that will be the real Nigerian People's indomitable Peru Coalition.

Without His Excellency Atiku embracing the AGOBI '27 proposition, the only winners will be the one person and party the overwhelming majority of Nigerians do not wish to retain power one day beyond 2027.

This brings to the table the most important question anyone will ever ask Atiku in his entire lifetime. Which of these, Sir, do you wish to be remembered for by posterity? The man who sacrificed his ambition to liberate Nigeria or who sacrificed Nigeria for his ambition yet never got it?

Time will tell and retell the AGOBI story, and this question will be asked again and again at your final resting place and in many years of history after you have returned to your Maker. The best and only time to give it a noble legacy guaranteeing answer is now.

To you we speak and write as men. But unto you Allah speaks as God. This hour He reminds you in His scriptures as follow:

_"Act justly, that is nearer to god-fearing..."  "Persistently standing firm in justice, even if it be against yourself." - Quran 5:8, Surah An-Nisa (4:135)._

May Allah bless you with a heart that listens to His commands rather than the misleading counsels of self-serving unpatriotically ambitious aides.

Ameen.

Ameen.

Obedient Movement in Oyo Rejects Tanko's Imposition of Akinyemi

Obedient Movement in Oyo Rejects Tanko's Imposition of Akinyemi

 Anthony Ufoh

Leaders and members of various Obidient support groups in Oyo State have come together to dissociate themselves from the state leadership under Ayo Akinyemi.

During the buildup to the 2023 election, there were two parallel structures of the Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) in Oyo State.

Ayo Akinyemi allegedly hijacked the structure from Pastor Oaks by playing a tribal card, with the help of the Labour Party Chairman. Pastor Oaks led the first one-million-man march in Oyo State, which brought the Labour Party to the limelight.

Akinyemi re-emerged in the Obidient movement picture in 2025 after the Southwest conference in Lagos, where Dr Tanko identified with other leaders.

However, Akinyemi allegedly repeated his pattern of hijacking leadership. This time, he fronted a candidate, Dr Dexter Akin Alamu, in the bye-election, who eventually garnered 256 votes.

The Ayo Akinyemi Faction reportedly sponsored Dr Tanko’s flight and hotel reservations to facilitate his recognition as the Obidient leader in the state, contrary to an appointment letter earlier issued by the National Directorate of the Obidient movement and signed by the Global Director, Dr. Tanko Yunusa.

Akinyemi is known to switch sides when financial interests are involved. He publicly aligned with the PDP during the 2023 election and issued a press statement against Peter Obi’s birthday rally, flaunting national orders.

It’s also very disappointing to hear that our principal, whom we have been working tirelessly for since 2023, nonsto,p came to Ibadan without our knowledge, only to see that it’s the usurpers that were notified and they chose not to carry others along

We abide only by your letter that appointed some leaders earlier this year, which appointed a neutral person from 2 coalitions to lead the state (Dele Abiola), signed by the global directorate office.

The aggrieved Obidient leaders of several support groups in the state categorically state that the Obidient movement leadership led by Dr Tanko Yunusa cannot impose a leader on them, as politics is local and Dr Tanko doesn’t reside in Oyo and can’t dictate who should lead us.

We will as well  withdraw our support if Tanko insists on imposing Ayo Akinyemi, who claims to have followers, until the national body of the Obidient Movement do the needful by allowing a level playing ground to enable the state actors to test their popularity through votes

Oyo State Obidient Movement Calls on Governor Seyi Makinde to Investigate LCDAs’ Alleged Corruption in World Bank-Sponsored Teachers’ Seminar

Oyo State Obidient Movement Calls on Governor Seyi Makinde to Investigate LCDAs’ Alleged Corruption in World Bank-Sponsored Teachers’ Seminar

The Oyo State Obidient Movement, under the coordination of Hon. Dele Abiola, has expressed deep concern over the disturbing revelations surrounding the treatment of teachers enlisted for the World Bank and BESDA-sponsored seminar workshops in the state.

It is now a matter of public knowledge that several LCDA administrators allegedly engaged in corrupt practices by deducting a substantial portion of the stipends allocated to teachers who participated in the program. Shockingly, beyond these unlawful deductions, teachers were further compelled to pay ₦2,500 each to their zonal coordinators as a so-called “appreciation fee.”

An anonymous source also revealed that during the first batch of the program, enlisted teachers received tablets and power banks provided by the World Bank in partnership with BESDA to enhance effective teaching. However, the distribution of these devices for the second and third batches was handed over to LCDA authorities, many of whom allegedly manipulated the process by removing original names from the list and replacing them with others.

Furthermore, when stipends were disbursed to the LCDAs, the amounts meant for individual teachers were reportedly slashed, in clear violation of the program’s guidelines and the principles of accountability.

In light of these alarming reports, the Oyo State Obidient Movement is calling on Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde to urgently investigate these allegations and ensure that any LCDA administrator found culpable is brought to book. Failure to act swiftly, the Movement warns, could tarnish the reputation of his administration and undermine public trust in governance.

DEXTER: AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL OBIDIENTS IN OYO STATE

DEXTER: AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL OBIDIENTS IN OYO STATE

My dear brothers and sisters on the nission,

Now that the elections are behind us, I have taken time to reflect deeply on where we stand today as a movement in Oyo State. And with all sincerity, I must confess that my heart is heavy. Not because of defeat, but because of what threatens to destroy the very house we are trying to build.

Three things, if not urgently addressed, will scatter us before 2027 even arrives.

First is disunity. We are disadvantaged in numbers already, yet instead of closing ranks, we have allowed factions to grow among us. We quarrel, we slander, and we are too quick to pull each other down. My brothers and sisters, how can we win if we keep fighting ourselves?

Second is the mad rush for power and control. Too many want to lead, but very few want to serve. Yet true leadership is service, not titles, not positions, not personal empires. If our movement becomes about who controls what rather than who sacrifices most for the cause, then we are no different from the old order we are seeking to replace.

Third, and most painful, is the spirit of profiteering that has crept in. Some among us seem more interested in money than in the mission. When meetings are dominated by “who gets what” instead of “how do we build,” when funds meant for the struggle become the subject of endless quarrels, how then do we claim to be different from those we condemn?

I speak these words not to condemn, but to call us back to the path of truth. I must also pause here to offer a sincere apology. In the heat of the smear campaign launched against me, I reacted harshly at times. That was wrong. I take responsibility for those outbursts. As a leader, my duty is not to retaliate but to reconcile. One thing that the event has shown though is the depth of the ills I have highlighted above which I sincerely did not know about before now.

And so, I make this pledge to you today: my priority going forward is to unite this movement in Oyo State. I have reached out to other elders even those who are older and more experienced than me to also join hands with me in this regards, so that together we can heal these wounds. My office will also begin to contact every faction, every camp, every group. Because if we truly love our principal, His Excellency Peter Obi, then we must come together not as rivals, but as one family.

My beloved Obidients, the 2027 journey is not far. The old order is counting on us to destroy ourselves before we even get to the battlefield. We cannot let them win that way. Let us prove to them, and to the world, that we are different. That we are a people who can put ego aside, silence greed, and embrace one another for the sake of the greater good.

Let history record that the Obidient Movement in Oyo State chose unity over division, service over ambition, sacrifice over selfish gain. For only then can we truly deliver the new Nigeria we all dream of.

I extend my hand to every one of you, regardless of past disagreements. Let us begin again, in peace, in humility, in love.

With deep respect, hope and commitment,

*Dr. Femi Dexter Akin-Alamu*

Why Dexter Akin Alamu lost woefully despite the strong presence of Obidients in Ibadan

Why Dexter Akin Alamu lost woefully despite the strong presence of Obidients in Ibadan

Oyo State Obident
Leadership@ the South
 West Conference, Lagos.
256 votes for Dexter Akin Alamu was embarrassing despite spending 77m naira for campaign. He didn't get votes because he failed to identify with the organic foot soldiers. Dexter by now should have known what characters the political actors in the parallel structures in Oyo state had:

1. Quick gains/cash and carry group (Ayo Akinyemi Group).

2. The organic foot soldiers (100% Obidient) ( the other group).

Our 2023 experience shaped our thoughts and decisions to work as parallel structures, despite being without sponsorship, while the other group had your support (Dexter) and the state party chairman Alhaji Sodiq Atayese who never believed Peter Obi could win. We were even begging for materials to work with (sensitisation materials)while some were privileged to get materials in excess but did not deploy effectively

The Obidient movement was Birthed after Dr Tanko Yunusa was Appointed last year, and some of us met him since last year. Before his appointment we were operating under coalition of support groups which seize to be After Dr Tanko was appointed and the Obidient movement structure Globally was setup and all previous structures was Collapsed into the movement

The national leadership earlier identified with us way before the southwest conference, after the southwest coordinator and National director of Mobilization visited us in Ibadan prior to the south west conference.

We aligned with the national from "peace and reconciliation comitee" to

"Obidient harmonization movement" down to "Obidient harmonization forum" and it was when we published the south west conference e-fliers that the other group got to meet the global coordinator Dr. Tanko Yunusa, the director of Mobilization Morris Monye, the southwest coordinator Hon. Seyi Sowunmi, and some members of the coordinating council. It's worrisome to note that some people are still standing on a stale structure from 2023

We organised the Obidient birthday rally which was a national programme that held in the 36 states and the Federal capital territory

You (Dr Dexter)saw the adverts of the programme in your constituency which started from Mokola roundabout and ended at Oluyole Cheshire home of the disabled we did it without receiving a dime from the national and you failed to identify with us because Ayo Akinyemi made a press statement that he wasn't part of it, while he was busy politicking to hijack the structure earlier set by the national coordinator, He claimed to be in charge of the obidient movement in Oyo which operated 2 parallel structures and you know. You saw our adverts which you ought to key into if you are Truly obidient

If Ayo Akinyemi was Truly Obidient, why did he not align with the appointed state coordinating council?

Why did he flaunt national orders on the birthday rally?

Ayo Akinyemi used you (Dexter) to deceive the national coordinator to endorse him, claiming he had a structure present at the 33 LG in Oyo, while using your own people and real Obidients that didn't identify that it was to validate his structure.

If you spend 200m campaigning with the same group you will get same result. Ayo Akinyemi is very good at snatching power and running with it. But this time, because they couldn't get what they want, they came out early to expose themselves with 10m naira donation from His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi.

2027 is around the corner. If care is not taken, 2023 will repeat itself in Oyo state

Bye-Election: Femi Dexter Akin-Alamu Makes More Revelations on his Election Spendings, Says hungry opportunists and fraudsters in the name of obidients Sell Out

Dexter

The ADC House of Representatives candidate in the just concluded Bye-Election in Ibadan North Dr. Femi Dexter Akin-Alamu has made more Revelations about the poor outing of the party in the last Saturday Bye-Election.

Femi Dexter in a news statement shield more light on his campaign spending which many considered outrageous especially with the total 256 of votes scored and not 88 Votes as earlier rumored and publicized.

His latest message in response to critics on his election spending and donations received from donors especially from Peter Obi, opined that hungry opportunists and fraudsters in the name of obidients that worked with him in the course of his campaigns sold out after  money to work against him.

His full statement:

Good morning all. I have made 3 statements already since the election concluded, and it has stated clearly all that any right thinking person needs to know. Whilst I have also seen a lot of bickering by the angry and hungry opportunists who feel they have a right to my campaign funds after selling out and receiving money to work against me, fraudsters in the name of obidients, people giving the movement a bad name, I am yet to see exactly any question apart from people questioning how my money was spent during the elections, opportunists that did not even show up for campaign Rallies that have suddenly turned themselves into stakeholders. They first claimed I received 10 million from PO, now when it is obvious I did not rather that eat their words and apologise, they are bickering over how I spent 77 million or whether I spent 77 million on a campaign I opened since September of last year from a campaign office I opened in Mokola since then. All the questions I see is why we have 88 votes, which by the way is actually 256, the answer is simple because people like those complaining sold out, got money to destroy the election and even after the election they have not stopped. Criminals with no integrity. What exactly is my crime ? Find me one ward chairman that was not mobilised for this election, find me the LG government chairman and let him come and say he wasn't mobilised, find me an agent that did not collect 5k with his tag and another 5k on submission of results. @⁨~agborjm@gmail.Com⁩, at least you are here, tell me if you did not employ 51 agents in Ward 12 alone. I dare you to produce 1 agent who did not receive their money. But the greedy opportunists who did not even leave their house on election day haven received funds to mobilize against us are here talking, they will rather the money was shared for them than use it well and when that does not happen they resort to cheap blackmail without substance. Any one apart from @⁨~agborjm@gmail.Com⁩ who I know received 20k out of the 80k sent to Tony to get 4 people to monitor the agents in Ward 12 alone. For the records I paid all agents from ward 1 to 12, 10k each and I paid 4 supervisors in each ward 20k each, I mobilised chairmen in 9 of the 12 wards 100k each, only the 2 wards where we did not have a chairman yet did not get it and BASA who was there when all this was done promised to pay the 100k of ward 5. I mobilised on average about 10 people in each ward between 20k and 100k on Friday night/ Saturday morning, most of this was done with a POS owned by Lolade of ward 5, for any one that is really interested in the truth this can be confirmed.

Let anyone who wants to ask how we got 256 votes firstly tell all of us where they worked on election day to clear their name that they are not part of those who sold us out before they have the right to question the people who worked hard how we got 256 votes. This coordinated smear campaign is nothing but an attempt by hungry and angry sell out olitrickcians and fraudsters who have been exposed trying to change the narrative, but I promise you this are not the ones to birth a new Nigeria except we are fooling ourselves. I will repost the 3 statements here, one of which gave a full account of our campaign expenses since I opened the campaign office in September, and for the records every single naira apart from the donations of 11.4 million was from my personal sweat haven never held a political office or executed a government contract in my life.

Press Statement: Lies, smear campaigns, outright blackmail being orchestrated against Dr Dexter by a few hungry individuals hiding under the banner of the Obidient Movement in Oyo State can not stand

Dr Dexter

It has become necessary to once again address the lies, smear campaigns, and outright blackmail being orchestrated against Dr. Dexter by a few hungry individuals hiding under the banner of the Obidient Movement in Oyo State.

Let us set the record straight:

They claim Dr Dexter received 10 million naira from Peter Obi, this is a total lie, The donation in question was from Alhaji. Kashim Imam and the donation neither came through the effort of Tanko or the obidient movement, Tanko himself was only contacted to verify the chances of Dr. Dexter at the elections. The donation came from a call Dr Dexter made by himself in the presence of witnesses on Friday morning to Aisha Yesufu who as at then had not been contacted by anyone about Dr. Dexter's election, it was after that he called Tanko to verify the details he was given by Dr. Dexter.

!. It is amazing that I am being asked as His DG Media what has been Dr. Dexter's contribution to the Obidient movement in Oyo state.

1. Leading to the 2023 elections. Dr. Dexter gave the Obidient Movement an office for use. on Ring road. That alone is more than many so-called leaders have done for this movement.

2. Just days to his own elections, Dr. Dexter still put the movement first by singlehandedly providing the air-conditioned hall, sound systems, screens, cameras, and every other equipment used for a recent seminar organized by the Obidient Movement. Their entire contribution was a mere ₦30,000 for diesel, which Dr dexter still added N100,000 to so the generator he provided for them can be put onl to power the event.

3. On the very day of his primaries, when Dr. Dexter asked the movement to help mobilize just 40 people, they bluntly said they could only do it if he first paid them ₦200,000 for “logistics.” He paid it. They only moved after collecting money. And now the same people have the audacity to question his loyalty to the Obidient cause? Laughable.

4. Ahead of the election, when rallies were put together just one week to voting day, these same people demanded ₦15,000 per car for fuel if any of their members were to drive around Ibadan North. When they didn’t get it, they disappeared. No mobilization, no participation.

5. As if that wasn’t enough, they shamelessly asked for ₦20 million for “mobilization for the election.” When Dr. Dexter refused to release such an outrageous sum, they went missing in action. But today, they cry that the ₦11.4 million donations he received— of which almost all the donors were Dr. Dexter's Family and friends.

Let us stop deceiving ourselves: many so-called Obidients are nothing but opportunists, using the name of His Excellency Peter Obi as a cover for scams and extortion.

And to crown the absurdity of it all, the loudest voice behind this smear campaign—Mr. Jeje Ibukun, who parades himself as “PRO” of the movement in Oyo State—was recently sacked by Christ Ambassadors School after being caught diverting funds meant for the school’s football field grass. Staff of the school and even those at Wells Radio confirmed his fraud. This same man is now sending threats to Dr. Dexter promising to “destroy his image.” Is this not laughable? A fraudster turned PRO is now the self-appointed judge of integrity?

Enough is enough.

The public deserves to know the truth: Dr. Dexter has given more to the Obidient Movement than many of the same people now trying to destroy him. This smear campaign is nothing but the cry of rejected stomach politicians who see the movement as a money-making machine.

The question is simple: if people who must be paid before they lift a finger call themselves “Obidient,” then who are we deceiving?

The time has come to expose opportunists hiding under the Obidient name for what they really are.

BYE-ELECTION: DEXTER KNEW HE WOULD TRADE ADC, OBIDIENT, AND IBADAN NORTH VOTERS, HE WAS NOT A SERIOUS CANDIDATE FROM DAY ONE

Dexter

I have seen a lot comments since Saturday, and Yesterday . Some congratulating and praying and all that for Hon. Dexter Akin Alamu.

But the truth is this, Dr. Dexter Akin Alamu traded us all for his own selfish and personal gain.

The man traded the entire structure of ADC, the entire work force of the Oyo state Obidient Movement and the unsuspecting innocent voters of Ibadan North.

With evidences well available to us now. Akin Alamu despite collecting a huge amount of #10m from His Excellency, Peter Obi on Thursday/Friday of the just concluded election of Ibadan North he failed to mobilised or pay for agents and canvassers who could have helped him and ADC probably won that election. Instead he pocketed the money and the results was that that there were no agents nor fund to mobilised credible ADC supporter and the Obideints structures to the field of votes on Saturday.

Mind you, it wasthe Obideint Movement in Oyo state through their leadership Ayo Akinyemi that facilitated how Peter Obi released pooping sum of #10m to Dr. Dexter through the National President of the Obidient Movement in Nigeria, Dr. Yinusa Tanko on Friday and the Dr. Tanko Yinusa immediately called Com. Ayo Akinyemi to inform him that the Oyo state Obideint wish and solicitation for fund for Dexter's has been approved and that a sum of #10m has been sent into Dexter's account for his elections.

Ladies and Gent, up until yesterday , Dr. Dexter Akin Alamu did not disclose to the leadership of ADC, Obidients or his campaign team that he received #10m from Peter Obi.

So because he was playing too smart on his part, the ADC was stranded, canvassers , agents of ADC and Obidents were helpless and stranded in that elections and so we all got that shameful, abysmal result ADC /Dexter got.

The truth is that Dexter Akin Alamu used ADC /Oyo Obidents to cash out #10m from Peter Obi and probably sold out to PDP also in that election.

The evidences are with us for anyone who may be doubting or thinking it is a fabricated story.

ADC/Obidents in Oyo State must be weary and at alert of these opportunists, hungry politicians coming innthe name of Peter Obi into their midst.

Hon Dexter Akin Alamu was tagged a traitor in Lp and again he has shown same in the election of Saturday.

The truth is that he may not have lost if he had channeled the money given to him on the election and not pocketed it. It is a big shame that the first major election of ADC in Oyo state went in this way because of the greediness of a man whose ambition is not to savage the masses really but to psyphone the collective money gathered for him to win election.

I sincerely thank everyone for the outpouring of goodwill and birthday wishes — Peter Obi

I sincerely thank everyone for the outpouring of goodwill and birthday wishes — Peter Obi

Obi

 Thank You All

From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank everyone for the outpouring of goodwill and birthday wishes I received worldwide. I remain deeply grateful to all who marked the day in one way or another, not to mention Nigerian youths, the Obidient family and the members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, renowned for their apostolate to the poor.

As for me, while I deeply appreciate the gestures of celebration, I must once again reiterate that I do not personally celebrate birthdays. I recall vividly when I turned 50, during my time as Governor. Many institutions and individuals approached me with elaborate plans for the occasion.

One institution generously offered to build a house for me in the village. When I asked for the estimated cost, they said it would be ₦120 million. I humbly requested that the funds be redirected to build classrooms in three educational institutions at Agulu, Ekwulobia and Abatete. They obliged—and the impact was far-reaching.

Another group had budgeted ₦20 million for a lavish party. I graciously asked them to consider using the funds to purchase desktop computers for schools. Their eventual donation of 200 desktops was distributed to schools across the state, enhancing learning for many students.

In a similar spirit of redirection, another organisation—whose intention had originally been to celebrate me—ended up donating buses, which we distributed to institutions in need, including one that went to the legendary Old Rangers Association.

This has been my consistent approach over the years. On each birthday, I use the opportunity to redirect goodwill towards causes that uplift others.

As I turned 64 years old yesterday, I must confess that the current state of our nation makes the idea of personal merriment even more difficult to contemplate. The scale of suffering and deprivation among our people weighs heavily on the conscience. This is why I have once again requested that all those who wish to celebrate me should instead channel their resources towards helping the poor or supporting our struggling health and educational institutions.

On my part, I have chosen this day to renew my personal commitment to continue supporting the institutions of state in the best way I can, especially those that directly serve the people.

Providentially, I was in Rome, at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and the Martyrs, and my birthday coincided with this visit. I used this sacred opportunity, as I always do when I am in Nigeria, to remember you all in prayer. I especially prayed for our beloved country, Nigeria—that God may touch the hearts of our leaders, and awaken in them the realisation that public funds are meant for the public good.

May we all find strength and grace to keep striving for a more just, compassionate, and equitable society.

Thank you, once again. -PO

How Oyo State Obidients Celebrate Peter Obi’s Birthday with Road Walk and Charity Outreach

How Oyo State Obidients Celebrate Peter Obi’s Birthday with Road Walk and Charity Outreach

 By Abolade Adedeji

In celebration of Peter Obi’s 64th birthday, the Oyo State Obidients marked the day with acts of compassion and community service across Ibadan.

The day began in Mokola, where members of the group fed destitute individuals, interacted warmly with them, took photographs, and helped clean the surrounding area. The beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, visibly uplifted by the care shown to them.

Following this, the Obidients visited the Cheshire Home for the Handicapped. There, Pastors Alagbe and Obi led prayers, while Pastor Abolade shared words of encouragement with the residents. The group’s coordinator, Dele Abiola, also took time to engage with the home’s occupants. The visit culminated in the presentation of gifts and the clearing of overgrown bushes around the facility, all done by the Obidients themselves.

The management and residents of Cheshire Home were deeply appreciative of the support and kindness extended to them.

Overall, the day was marked by joy, gratitude, and a strong sense of community as the Oyo State Obidients chose to honour Peter Obi not with fanfare, but through service; giving back to society in meaningful ways that touched lives and spread hope.,
