Seeking Contact with Iran, American Donald Trump held a phone call with Russian Vladimir Putin to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

During the call, Putin presented proposals aimed at reaching a quick political and diplomatic settlement to the war.

The development comes as Russia has also maintained close contact with Iran. Putin recently congratulated Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader and expressed Russia’s support for Iran in the face of military pressure from the U.S. and Israel.

US envoy reportedly seeks contact with Iran on ceasefire but Tehran blatantly refused any ceasefire or negotiations with United States.

The Al Jazeera bureau chief in Tehran, Noureddine El-Dghir, reports from reliable sources that US President’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, has attempted to reach Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, aiming to test Tehran’s willingness for a ceasefire.

However, according to the sources, there is currently no Iranian interest in engaging, with another source confirming that Iran’s National Security Council has no discussion at this time regarding halting the war.

Iran’s FM Abbas Araghchi told PBS News that talking or negotiating with the US is no longer on the agenda. He says that despite making progress during previous rounds of negotiations, the US still chose to attack Iran.

Oil prices above $100 per barrel “increase pressure on consumer prices through transport, logistics, and business costs,” Russian expert Alexey Primak told Sputnik.

“If these levels persist for several months, central banks will have to maintain tight monetary policy longer than the market expects. This adds to the risk of a global economic slowdown," he stressed.

No Regime Change in Iran — Kremlin warns US as Russian Warships Hold Position in Strait of Hormuz with IRAN

No Regime Change in Iran — Kremlin warns US as Russian Warships Hold Position in Strait of Hormuz with IRAN

Russia Federation on warned the United States that there won't be a regime change in Iran especially the external induced change in Tehran will not be allowed.

On February 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation.

The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the current situation regarding the Iranian nuclear programme, including in light of the recent indirect US-Iran contacts held in Geneva.

The Russian Side reaffirmed its support for a negotiation process aimed at finding fair political and diplomatic solutions while fully respecting Iran’s legitimate rights in accordance with the principles of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The Ministers also touched upon certain issues on the bilateral agenda of mutual interest.

In another related development, Russia"No Regime Change as We monitor an unprecedented escalation around IRAN" Russian Warships Hold Position in Strait of Hormuz with IRAN.

Dimitry Peskov who is the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin noted the escalation is "singular" or historic in scale but expressed hope for negotiations. This aligns with Moscow's broader stance of supporting Iran while avoiding direct entanglement.

As Iran's close partner, Russia reaffirmed ongoing ties (including the drills) but positioned itself as favoring diplomacy.

Russia opposes external efforts at regime change in Iran, viewing them as violations of sovereignty and destabilizing. For instance, Russian officials have criticized US approaches that could lead to overthrowing the Iranian government, framing such actions as incitement or unlawful interference.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other Russian officials and diplomats have explicitly condemned Western "plots" for regime change in Iran.

The United States and Iran concluded a second round of indirect negotiations mediated by Oman on Tuesday, with both sides acknowledging progress amid a growing American military buildup in the region.

Shortly after the Geneva talks, US Vice President JD Vance described the process as productive "in some ways," but said Tehran was "not yet willing" to engage on some of Trump's "red lines."

Araghchi said talks showed progress, describing the atmosphere as "more constructive."

US President Donald Trump has significantly stepped up American military presence in the region, deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, with the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier on its way to the region, along with additional fighter jets.

The Geneva meeting was the second round of negotiations since US President Donald Trump ordered strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities during the 12-day Iran-Israel war last June. The first round was held in Muscat, Oman, on Feb. 6.

On Thursday, Trump said it will be clear if it is possible to make a deal with Iran "over the next probably 10 days," warning that Washington "may have to take it a step further" if negotiations fall short.

Earlier, the Kremlin called on Iran and all regional partners to "exercise restraint and caution," describing the tensions as "unprecedented."

US amasses strike force for ‘unprovoked aggression’ against Iran says an analyst as Trump says US must make 'meaningful deal' with Iran, 'otherwise bad things happen'

As American President Donald Trump is on the brink of a war on Iran that has been decades in the making, the US military buildup ongoing in the Middle East is aimed at “inflicting serious damage on Iran,” military analyst Dmitry Drozdenko tells Sputnik.

Trump urges #Iran to strike a “meaningful” deal as a huge American military build-up takes shape in the Middle East amid US threats of action against Tehran.“US escalation is driven by the recognition that neither Israel’s Iron Dom nor patriot defense system can curtailed Irankiran missiles.

No doubt Donald Trump is now seen as a bigger threat to global peace than even Russia by some of America’s former allies. Arleigh Burke-class destroyers with SM-3 and SM-6 interceptors can fully neutralize Iran’s missile arsenal,” says the pundit. The US has been the biggest threat to global peace for a good number of decades. They are the world's terrorists.

Meanwhile, Trump, at Board of Peace meeting, says US must make 'meaningful deal' with Iran, 'otherwise bad things happen'. Maybe we are going to make a deal, You are going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days. We may have to take it a step further (military)

A second American aircraft carrier — the USS Gerald R. Ford — is heading toward the Middle East amid rising tensions with Iran, accompanied by destroyers and aircraft being redeployed from missions in the Caribbean region, a U.S. ABC News reported.

As negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over Tehran's nuclear program continue, American aircraft carriers are at the forefront of a major U.S. military buildup in the Middle East. The Ford is expected to join the USS Abraham Lincoln in the region, the latter having arrived there late last month.

The Ford briefly transmitted its location off the coast of Morocco on Wednesday as it approached the Mediterranean Sea, according to data from the MarineTraffic website. The carrier's location was visible for around two hours.

Also visible on the FlightRadar24 website on Wednesday were two C-2A Greyhound aircraft, which in recent months have been operating off the carrier. The aircraft transmitted their locations off the coast of Portugal, around 230 miles from the Ford's position.

The Ford is being accompanied by four destroyers as it sails east toward the Middle East.

Three of the destroyers are part of the Ford’s carrier strike group that have accompanied the carrier since it first deployed in June, the fourth destroyer had previously been a part of President Donald Trump's administration’s surge of military forces in the Caribbean, a U.S. official confirmed to ABC News.

Each of the destroyers is armed with air defense systems that can shoot down incoming missiles and drones, plus Tomahawk cruise missiles that can be used to strike targets up to 1,000 miles away.

F-35 stealth fighter jets are among the U.S. assets heading toward the Middle East, including some that had been deployed to Puerto Rico ahead of the U.S. operation to depose Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

A spokesman for the Vermont National Guard confirmed to ABC News that the 158th Fighter Wing received a change in mission from U.S. Southern Command -- which oversees operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America -- but did not disclose their new deployment area.

In late January, online flight trackers noted a dozen F-35 fighters taking off from Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in Puerto Rico and landing on the Azores islands in the mid-Atlantic, on their way to the Middle East.

Key Iranian nuclear personnel and facilities were targeted by Israeli and American forces during an intense 12-day conflict in June. But the strikes failed to resolve long-standing U.S. and Israeli grievances related to Tehran's nuclear program, its ballistic missile arsenal and its support for regional proxy groups.

U.S. and Iranian representatives met in Geneva, Switzerland, this week for talks regarding a possible deal related to Tehran's nuclear program and its enrichment of uranium. Trump has demanded that Iran commit to "zero enrichment," a proposal rejected by Iranian officials.

U.S. officials briefed on the negotiations said Iran indicated a willingness to suspend its nuclear enrichment for a certain amount of time, anywhere from one to five years

The U.S. is also weighing lifting financial and banking sanctions and the embargo on its oil sales, according to a U.S. official.

Following the talks in Geneva, Iran is expected to submit a written proposal aimed at resolving the tensions, a senior U.S. official confirmed to reporters on Wednesday. It is unclear when the written proposal will be submitted to the U.S.

On Tuesday, a White House official said Iran would provide detailed proposals to address "some of the open gaps in our positions" in the next two weeks.

The US President reiterated on Thursday: "We may have to take it a step further [than Operation Midnight Hammer], or we may not."

"Maybe we are going to make a deal. You are going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days."

"Iran would have had a nuclear weapon based on everything we found out since within one month [if we didn't do Operation Midnight Hammer].
We can't let that happen."

"They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region. They must make a deal. If it doesn’t happen, bad things will happen."

The opinion of many on the US carrier groups are that the modern warfare no longer required such a US approach. While it's general agreed that in the eventuality of war between Iran and US with allies, the fall of Iran will never be like that of Iraq or Libya in the face of Iranian missiles that humbled Israel in the 12daya war.

‘Monitoring ALL military movements near Iran’

Contrary to the US forces claims that they SHOOT DOWN an Iranian drone, the Iranian regime media source has reported that the Iranian Drone completed it's missions in monitoring military movement near Iran's territories.

According to Reuters, Iranian drone approaching aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in Arabian Sea’ was shot down by the US Navy.

according to the reports,“U.S. Central Command made the decision to shoot down the Iranian drone. It was unmanned and acting aggressively toward our USS Lincoln.

The President of United States remains committed to diplomacy first — but diplomacy takes two to tango.”

According to U.S. officials cited by Axios, Israel is pressuring the United States to launch an attack on Iran, but Donald Trump is reluctant to go to war.

US Officials say no one has succeeded in convincing Trump to authorize a strike. Initially, Trump supported airstrikes during mass protests in Iran, but he now views military intervention as a mistake.
American leader also reportedly sees the release of the Epstein files as a way to counter Israeli pressure.

According to an AFP report, the United States is still planning talks with Iranian officials this week, the White House said Tuesday, even after a US warplane shot down an Iranian drone that approached an American aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.

"I just spoke with special envoy (Steve) Witkoff, and these talks as of right now are still scheduled," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters, adding that they were due to happen "later this week."

"President Trump is always wanting to pursue diplomacy first, but obviously it takes two to tango," Leavitt said outside the West Wing.

The meeting between Witkoff, a businessman whom Trump has appointed as his roving global conflict negotiator, and Iranian officials will "probably" take place in Turkey, a source close to the issue told AFP.

The US military said earlier that an F-35C stealth fighter jet shot down the Iranian drone that "aggressively" drew near to the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier on Tuesday.

Trump's spokeswoman added that the US president was keeping open the possibility of military action against Iran, with a large number of US warships now in the region.

"Of course, the president has always a range of options on the table, and that includes the use of military force," Leavitt told Fox News in a separate interview.

She added that "the Iranians know that better than anyone," referring to US military strikes that hit Iran's nuclear program last year.

However, a Tehran source, Iran’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday the location and timing of talks with the United States are not complicated matters and should not be turned into a media issue, adding that consultations about the venue are ongoing and details will be announced once finalized.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei thanked all "friendly countries that, out of concern and goodwill, have worked to help create the conditions for a diplomatic process."

“In principle, the venue and timing of talks are not complicated issues and should not be used as a pretext for media games," Baghaei said.

"Turkey and Oman, as well as some other countries in the region, have declared their readiness to host the talks, which we consider highly valuable."

"Consultations to determine the venue are also ongoing, and information will be announced as soon as a final decision is made," he added.

Why American Donald Trump' Back down on Tehran: Classified report says USS Abraham Lincoln, carrying nuclear weapons, would not survive against Iran’s precision missiles

A classified report obtained by Prime Trust revealed that the United States refrained from attacking Iran after learning that the USS Abraham Lincoln, carrying nuclear weapons, would not survive against Iran’s precision missiles.

The USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN Carrier Strike Group has been confirmed to have sailed due east, away from the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea and is currently holding position approximately 1100 km from Iran.

The report states that Iran currently possesses over 3,000 precision-guided missiles, along with a large number of Shaheed drones.

The main challenge that caused the U.S. to pull back was the high number of Fateh-110 missiles Iran currently has.

Other reports on Trump’s statements further indicate U.S. President Donald Trump’s caution regarding his threats to attack Iran, as he shifted back toward negotiations and the peace table, instead of relying on military force.

The Trump administration has told Iran through multiple channels that it is open to meeting to negotiate a deal, promising it is serious negotiations and not a bluff.

Multiple Arab countries are trying to arrange a meeting in Ankara between Steve Witkoff and Iranian officials.

According to Israeli Chwmnel 11, "Trump wants to dismantle Iran's nuclear program, but Israel demands the dismantling of its missile capabilities."

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in a public event in Tehran said Americans must realize that if they ignite a war, this time it will not be a limited war, but a regional war.

- The Americans have been issuing threats in their statements in the past, saying that "all options are on the table," including the option of war.

- This man (Trump) keeps claiming that they have brought in aircraft carriers and other things, but the Iranian people should not be intimidated by such things; the Iranian people are not affected by these threats.

- We are not the ones who initiate things, and we do not want to attack any country, but the Iranian people will deliver a strong and decisive blow to anyone who attacks or harms them.

Escalation: Iran’s Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri Warns Trump to Move His Armada out of the Persian Gulf or Face Consequences:

Iranian Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri has Warned the United States President Donald Trump to Move His Armada out of the Persian Gulf or Face Consequences.

According to him: “The Persian Gulf belongs to Iran and its neighbors. America must get out of our region — or face the consequences.”

According to a social media report by the Iran military, the conflict has officially escalated as reports confirm that one American fighter jet has been shot down. This development marks a serious turning point, raising fears of wider military confrontation and increased global tensions as the situation continues to unfold rapidly. It won't be a walk in the park for Trump forces

According to Muhammad Zavad Zarif, Donald Trump' wants to wage an illegitimate and unjust war against Iran. " And we have good reasons to defend ourselves."

And we will defend our Patriots until death. He said.

If Trump thinks he can carry out a quick operation and then tweet two hours later that it’s over, there is no such thing at all. Without a doubt, the war would include the entire region, from the Zionist regime to countries where the U.S. has bases.

If the enemy takes a foolish step, we will respond immediately, that is the directive given to us. In the past, it was necessary to conduct situation assessments, but now the instructions have already been issued in advance.

Plans have been formulated, and for every different scenario on the enemy’s side, we will have an appropriate and proportional response.

In the 12-day war, we learned that delay and giving the enemy an opportunity are absolutely unjustified, and an immediate response is required.

Aircraft carriers are very vulnerable to missiles.

In an another report, a retired U.S. military officer  was reported to have revealed that a U.S. aircraft carrier had to make a sudden, extreme maneuver to dodge a missile from Yemen, it is so intense that an F-18 fighter jet fell into the sea during the incident.

The F-18 fighter Jet fall from the carrier in to the sea and they have loose it.

This is the kind of situation the U.S. Navy is escape from Yemen.

Automatically this is defeat and end of their carrier if Iranian army launch their ICBMS on it.

Definitely, IRAN will sink this carrier in an all out war.

The primary targets will be Israel and all US military bases across the Middle East region.

“A limited military strike is an illusion

Ali Shamkhani who is an Adviser to Imam Khamenei in the Defense Council said any military action by America, from any origin and at any level, is considered the beginning of a war, and its response will be immediate, comprehensive, and unprecedented, targeting the aggressor, the heart of Tel Aviv, and all supporters of the aggressor.”

Iran’s mission to the United Nations just sent a strong warning to the United States.

In their warning issue, they reminded the U.S. of the cost of past military interventions, saying that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq drained US over $7 trillion and resulted in the deaths of more than 7,000 American troops.

At the same time, Iran says it is still open to talks...  but only on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests.

However, the Iranian gov. Emphasize that If IRAN  is pushed to the last corner, it will defend itself and respond in a way the U.S. has “NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE.”

Imminent war preceded by maneuvers: IRAN to Conduct Maritime Maneuvers with CHINA and RUSSIA in Coming Days to signal US and allies!!

Iranian Navy is planning to conduct joint military exercises with China and Russia in the Sea of Oman also known as the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean in the coming days.

The world holds its breath as Iran prepares to close the global oil lifeline amid unprecedented U.S. readiness.

Iran has warned ships at sea that it plans to conduct live-fire naval exercises in the Strait of Hormuz, potentially disrupting traffic through one of the world’s key oil routes.

According to a notice sent to mariners on Thursday, the “naval live-fire drills” are scheduled for Sunday and Monday. About 20% of global oil shipments pass through the strait, raising concerns about possible disruptions.

The warning comes as the United States conducts a multi-day air force exercise in The Middle West amid ongoing tensions with Iran.

The U.S. Central Command said the drills aim to demonstrate the ability to deploy and sustain air power across the region, a day after the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier arrived in The Middle West.

The Saudi defense minister had arrived the US together with the head of Israeli intelligence hoped to coordinate the attacks against Iran.

MBS recently called President Pezeshkian, and Saudi Arabia has conveyed messages from the Iranian leadership to the US. The militarization of the Strait of Hormuz has greatly alarmed the countries of the region.

The U.S. Secretary of War stated  that America is fully prepared to execute any decision the President makes regarding Iran.

CHRISTMAS BANGERS: US Spent Over N36 Billions In One Night Against Nigeria's ISIS linked Terrorists

CHRISTMAS BANGERS: US Spent Over N36 Billions In One Night Against Nigeria's ISIS linked Terrorists

The United States President Donald Trump ordered the missile attacks against the ISIS linked Terrorists group in Nigeria on the late night if the Christmas day.

Over N36b of Nigeria naira have be reportedly spent.

A U.S. defense official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Reuters that the strike in Nigeria was carried out by about a dozen Tomahawk missiles launched from a U.S. Navy warship, USS Paul Ignatius, with each missile costing close to $2 million.

What this means is that over $24 million (36 billion naira) were spent by the Trump government in Nigeria last night.

Meanwhile, both the federal government of Nigeria and the Sokoto State government have separately confirmed that Nigerian security forces, working in close coordination with the United States, have carried out successful precision strike operations against Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist enclaves in Sokoto State.

According to a statement signed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, the strikes targeted two major ISIS camps located within the Bauni forest axis of Tangaza Local Government Area.

Nigeria State under the APC led pro Terrorists Civilian Regime has become a den of criminalities where different criminal groups are operating without genuine check until US President Donald Trump's threats and rhetorics.

The question is ; If the missile strikes should continue against the terrorists , will Nigeria be able to bear the financial consequences under this very corrupt APC led leadership?

War Against Terrorism: US Military Considering Plans For Potential Strikes in Nigeria, 3 options on the table

The United States military has reportedly drafted contingency plans for possible military action in Nigeria following an order from President Donald Trump to "prepare to intervene" and protect Christians from attacks by Islamic militants.

The plans, according to a source was submitted by US Africa Command (AFRICOM) to the Department of War include three options.

The first option is a 'Heavy Option'  Wich will involve deploying an aircraft carrier strike group to the Gulf of Guinea and launching fighter jets or long-range bombers to hit militant targets deep inside northern Nigeria.

The second option is termed 'Medium Option'. This option will employ targeted drone strikes using MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1 Predator drones against known militant camps, convoys, and vehicles.

While the third option  called 'Light Option' will operate on providing and  Supporting Nigerian forces through intelligence sharing and logistics which will also activate joint operations against Boko Haram and other Islamist groups in the country.

Meanwhile, top military officials admit that limited airstrikes or drone operations may not end Nigeria's decades-long insurgency, and a full-scale campaign similar to Iraq or Afghanistan is unlikely. The Nigerian government has expressed concerns about US interference, emphasizing respect for Nigeria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Nigerians have been suffering hells in the hands of different militias and Islamic terrorists groups since the Boko Haram onslaught that started in Borno State in 2009. ISWAP, bandits, herdsmen and many other armed groups have exterminated many innocent lives. APC government was enthroned in 2015 on the background of promises to end insecurity, end hunger and creation of million jobs per annum.

Both the incumbent Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his predecessor Major General Muhammadu Buhari have failed to genuinely fight the insurgency as government officials and military officers involved in proxy negotiations with the Terrorists.

Amnesty was reportedly offered to many of the so called repentant terrorists. The military becomes more ineffective as many of them too were reported to have been absolved into the military while the Victims of terrorism were never cared for and the displaced remained in various IDPs. The genocide and displacement are also aimed at taken over of the conquered areas by the bandits, Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. Certainly there are enablers in APC led federal government as well as security apparatus of the Nigerian State.

Non Muslim communities have been the primary targets. Hence the claims of genocide against Christians in Nigeria.

Invasion of Nigeria: China will not dictate for US, says Moore

Invasion of Nigeria: China will not dictate for US, says Moore

US Rep. Riley Moore has said the United States President Donald Trump was absolutely right to defend brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering horrific persecution in the hands of organized Jihadists in Nigeria

Moore added,  even martyrdom, for their faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

According to him, China will not dictate America's foreign policy , and US will not be lectured to by a Communist autocracy that recently arrested 30 Christian pastors for their faith and throws ethnic minorities in concentration camps.

Earlier, the People's Republic of China has expressed strong support for Bola Tinubu's led APC federal government administration, while warning against foreign interference in Nigeria's internal affairs, following a recent threat by President Trump.

In Beijing on Tuesday, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Mao Ning, stated that China firmly opposes the use of religion or human rights as a pretext to meddle in the domestic affairs of sovereign nations.

"As Nigeria's comprehensive strategic partner, China firmly supports the Nigerian government in leading its people on the development path suited to its national conditions," Mao said.

"China firmly opposes any country using religion and human rights as an excuse to interfere in other countries' internal affairs, and threatening other countries with sanctions and force," she added.

Her comments were made in response to Trump's recent remarks, which threatened possible military action against Nigeria over alleged persecution of Christians — a claim the Nigerian government has strongly denied.

The U.S. State Department redesignated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) on October 31, citing alleged mass killings of Christians, which sparked diplomatic tension between both nations.

Ning's statement is seen as a show of solidarity with Nigeria as the diplomatic tension between the West African country and the United States intensifies.

Nigerian citizens have suffered deaths in the hands of Boko Haram, ISWAP terrorists, Fulani herdsmen, bandits and many other armed bandits kidnapping for ransoms. Going by the pedigree and capacity of the dreaded Nigerian Army, insurgents of any magnitude may never survive this long without internal political and foreign so support for the terrorists.

It is on records that APC rode to power in 2015 on the pretense electoral promises to end insecurities posted by Boko Haram and hunger in the country but had since been complicated with emergency of many and more terrors group s like Fulani herdsmen, bandits killings and commiting genocidal crimes in many states of the Nigerian federation.

Among the States where killings and displacement are happening include Borno, the epicenter of the Boko Haram/ ISWAP activities, Yobe, Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Kastina, Niger, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna and recently Kwara State.

There have been bandits) Fulani herdsmen attacks in a Catholic church in Owo Ondo state and Herdsmen attacks at Igangan in OYo State in the Southwest of the country.

Christians have been the primary targets of the Jihadists in the country and genocide ate been committed in order to take over their lands.

Fir late president Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari in his Fulanistic agenda introduced different bills into the national assembly aimed to give passage of lands to the Fulani herdsmen that have adopted Nigeria as their final and permanent home but failed.

APC government of the country is openly considered a pro Terrorists, Jihadists and banditry one and the government have been negotiating with the criminals who are generally believed to have been brought into the country for the sake of any infavourabke eventuality of the 2015 general elections which eventually enthroned APC administration since then.

U.S. Military Invasion Reports: Neighbouring Country Chad Closes Border With Nigeria Over Security Concerns

Chad has announced the immediate closure of its border with Nigeria, citing security concerns following reports of alleged U.S. military plans in Nigeria.

Report stated that the directive was issued by Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, who ordered a complete military lockdown along the Nigerian border after intelligence suggested that terr+rist elements from northern Nigeria were preparing to flee into Chadian territory.

According to report, Military sources in N’Djamena confirmed that the Chadian army has been placed on full alert, with troops and armoured vehicles deployed across key border corridors linking the two countries.

President Déby was quoted as saying that “no armed group or foreign force will be allowed to enter Chadian soil under any disguise.”

The move comes amid heightened regional tension and growing speculation over America’s alleged military activities in parts of West Africa.

Security analysts, said the closure was a preventive measure aimed at safeguarding Chadian sovereignty and preventing possible infiltration by armed groups exploiting regional instability.

Why Nigerian authorities must do more in their fight against terrorists, bandits and kidnappers, it should be noted that America and NATO allies trained most of the terrorists troubling the region and provided them with weapons. Certainly, US is looking for a country rich in oil reserves to occupy in the name of whatever operation, if Venezuela isn't visible for a military occupations, Nigeria should.

Nigeria government may actually lack the support of the majority of the citizens if US should attack going by the style of APC administration policies since 2015 that has been anti people, insecurity, herdsmen, banditry and kidnapping for ransoms in one hand and lack of free, fair and credible elections and modulation and destruction of opposition political parties as the country on the verge of one party system on the other hand as people's hope of getting out of bad economy maybe that the APC government come to an end by any means necessary.

The desires of many Nigerians is for the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu led APC federal government to made public, the financials and sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria, made them to face justice. Such Sharia law the justified the killings of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto State and declared the killers acquainted is questionable must be reviewed.

Condemning US president Donald Trump for the American planned intervention maybe very good and sound patriotic but it doesn't answer one major question everyone is avoiding.

The Nigerian army that fought for just two and a half years to defeat Biafra in a war that did not end until every last centre metre of the Soutb East was reclaimed back in Nigerian hands. So why has the same strong sub regional army tamely surrendered an area four times the size of Biafra to insurgents in the last 15 years. How can you oppose foreign intervention on the grounds of sovereignty in  land you have surrendered the same sovereignty for more than a decade..?

"Russia has always objected to Ukraine's membership in NATO, but not in the EU."

"In the Special Military Operation (SVO), Russia is fighting not so much for territory as for the rights of people."

"If Zelensky is ready, let him come to Moscow."  "Negotiations with Zelensky in his current status are a 'dead end'."

"Ukrainian authorities should hold a referendum to resolve any territorial issues."

"The West is to blame for the tragedy in Ukraine, as it completely ignored Russia's security interests."

"All Russian Armed Forces groups are successfully advancing in all directions."

"If it is impossible to resolve the Ukrainian issue peacefully, Russia will have to solve the tasks at hand by armed means."

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are not capable of conducting offensive operations."

"We spoke with Trump in English, mine is broken, I said 'Very glad to see you, dear neighbor, healthy and alive'."

Putin on Trump:

During all 4 days of the SCO summit, no one ever expressed any negative judgments regarding the Trump administration."

Everyone I met in China expressed hope that Trump’s positions could lead to an end to the conflict in Ukraine.

What is Tinubu Hiding from Nigerians, Covering from the Global Community?

What is Tinubu Hiding from Nigerians, Covering from the Global Community?

By Citizen Bolaji O. Akinyemi

A Presidency of Paradox

When Bola Ahmed Tinubu rode into power under the slogan of Renewed Hope, Nigerians expected a restoration of governance at home and credibility abroad. But two years down the line, what do we see? A President constantly on the move—shuttling between world capitals—while the very springboards of Nigeria’s diplomacy, its embassies and high commissions, remain headless and hollow.

This paradox begs the question: what is Tinubu hiding from Nigerians, and what is he trying to cover from the global community?

The Intellectual Spark: Dr. Ola Olateju’s Intervention

This question is not raised in a vacuum. It emerges from the detailed and courageous analysis of Dr. Ola Olateju in Political Panorama, Issue No. 17 (June 2, 2025), titled “Nigeria Without Ambassadors: A Silent Crisis in Tinubu’s Foreign Policy Vision.”

Olateju, a seasoned political scientist with a PhD from Swansea University and an impressive record of scholarship and civic engagement, laid bare the subsisting emptiness of our foreign embassies. His piece, meticulously researched, stripped away the excuses of “financial constraints” and “security vetting delays,” showing instead how Nigeria’s prolonged absence from global representation is a self-inflicted wound.

It is his intellectual labour that provides the canvas upon which I now paint this sharper, more conscience-pricking interrogation: if our embassies are empty, while our President is busy globe-trotting, then should we not ask—what exactly is being hidden, and from whom?

The Empty Embassies: Silence as Strategy

Since September 2023, Nigeria has had no substantive ambassadors in most of its foreign missions. As Olateju’s essay demonstrates, the cost is more than administrative; it is strategic self-sabotage.

Ambassadors are the eyes, ears, and voices of the state abroad. Their absence reduces Nigeria’s foreign presence to shadows. It silences our voice in multilateral forums, weakens our hand in negotiations, and abandons our citizens abroad.

This silence is not oversight; it is strategy. And therein lies the hidden truth: a deliberate personalization of diplomacy.

Personalization of Statecraft

Tinubu’s foreign travels, devoid of ambassadorial structures, centralize negotiations in his person. Trade deals, bilateral talks, and multilateral commitments—normally institutionalized through embassies—are reduced to presidential handshakes and fleeting announcements.

What happens when the President returns to Abuja? Who follows up in those capitals? Who drafts the cables, negotiates the details, and locks in Nigeria’s interest?

By refusing to appoint ambassadors, Tinubu ensures that accountability rests nowhere but his office. This creates room for cronies to monopolize opportunities that should be national in character. As Olateju rightly observed, diplomacy without diplomats is nothing but theatre—and costly theatre at that.

The Cost of a Silent Nigeria

1. Strategic Marginalization:

Nigeria, once the conscience of Africa, is absent in key multilateral spaces. Who represents us on ECOWAS’ crisis over the Sahel? Who lobbies for our developmental interests in Geneva? Silence has become our policy.

2. Diaspora Abandonment:

With 15 million Nigerians abroad contributing over $20 billion annually in remittances, embassies should be their shield. Instead, citizens are stranded in detention cells, without an ambassador to escalate their cases.

3. Economic Self-Sabotage:

Investment thrives on credibility. Ambassadors open doors, lobby investors, and defend national interest. Nigeria’s absence has meant lost opportunities while smaller African states like Rwanda and Ghana punch above their weight.

4. Institutional Demoralization:

Dozens of career diplomats languish in Abuja, waiting for deployment. The President’s indecision is their exile. What message does this send about merit, professionalism, and service?

What is Being Hidden?

The refusal to appoint ambassadors hides three things:

Weak Institutions: Nigeria’s institutions are so hollowed that governance depends on personal performance. Tinubu cannot trust the system, so he centralizes it in himself.

Crony Advantage: By bypassing ambassadors, he shields sensitive trade and diplomatic dealings from institutional scrutiny, allowing cronies to corner opportunities.

Diplomatic Paralysis: The absence covers the fact that Nigeria has no coherent foreign policy doctrine under this government—only episodic travels and empty rhetoric.

Covering from the Global Community

Every handshake abroad is a performance, a mask to cover the dysfunction at home. But global actors know. They see the absence of Nigerian envoys. They note the void in negotiations. They sense the weakness.

And the danger is this: in diplomacy, vacuums do not remain empty. Other powers step in. Nigeria’s silence opens the door for France, China, and even smaller African states to dictate the terms of continental politics.

The Moral Reckoning

Nigeria once led the anti-apartheid struggle. We brokered peace in Liberia and Sierra Leone. Our diplomats were legends of courage and clarity. Today, our embassies are ghost houses.

“Ilu ki i wa lai ni olori” — no town exists without a leader. Yet Nigeria’s missions exist without ambassadors. Our nation wanders without a diplomatic head.

Olateju’s intervention is timely. It is a scholarly alarm bell. But beyond scholarship lies the moral reckoning: will Nigeria continue to drift leaderless in global politics while our President performs at summits?

Call to Action: Let Nigeria Speak Again

Tinubu must:

1. Immediately nominate ambassadors for Senate confirmation.

2. Appoint on merit, not patronage.

3. Rebuild a coherent foreign policy doctrine.

4. Restore embassies as the springboard of diplomacy, not presidential theatrics.

Conclusion: The Question that Haunts Us

Dr. Ola Olateju has done the intellectual heavy lifting, exposing the silent crisis in Tinubu’s foreign policy vision. My task has been to translate that intellectual diagnosis into a political and moral charge.

So, what is Tinubu hiding from Nigerians? That our institutions are too weak to function. That diplomacy has been hijacked for personal advantage. That Nigeria, in truth, is absent where it most matters.

And what is he covering from the global community? That Africa’s so-called giant has lost its roar.

But history has ears, and silence is never permanent. Nigeria will speak again—if not through this government, then through the people’s eventual awakening.
