US-Iran-War: Why U.S. allies in the Gulf frustrated, lost trust in Trump administration

The commander of the US Central Command, Adm. Brad Cooper completed a 10-day trip to the Middle East on Saturday, visiting six countries and the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea as more than 50,000 US troops operate across the region.

While at sea, Cooper met with Sailors and Marines aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) for the second time this year. He previously visited the aircraft carrier in February with U.S. Special Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner,” CENTCOM posted on X.

 According to a report by the Washington Post, U.S. allies in the Gulf have completely lost trust in the Trump administration, growing increasingly frustrated over his inability to end the war with Iran, stating that American actions in the region make them "less safe, not more safe." 

Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain are all growing dissatisfied with Washington as the conflict drags on. One Arab official said bluntly: "Trump started this war, and we are paying the price for it."

The frustration is now translating into action. The recent defense pact signed between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan was described by a senior European official as a direct "signal to the U.S." and an effort to diversify security partnerships. A European official said: "From their perspective, America alone is not enough."

Gulf leaders feel they have been dragged into a war they didn't choose. Firas Maksad of the Eurasia Group said U.S. allies feel they are "unnecessarily trapped in a war that Trump is now struggling to end." Trust in Washington has eroded, with Gulf states believing that American actions in the region make them "less safe, not more safe."

The message from the Gulf is clear: Washington is no longer seen as a reliable guarantor of regional security. Allies are looking for alternatives — and Trump is running out of time to win back their trust.

In recent weeks, pessimism has increased in the White House regarding the possibility of reaching a final nuclear agreement with Iran.

According to a Wall Street Report, President Trump's advisors presented him with data on the damage caused by sanctions and convinced him to prefer intensifying economic pressure over waging a war that could cost much more money and could largely lead to losses that would increase internal criticism within the US administration.

Tehran has repeatedly stated it's not negotiating with the United States until the end of the Donald Trump's administration. The Persians hoped to pressuring Washington into agreeing with Tehran's demands. Both military and threats have failed to bring Iran to hers knees as none of the U.S. pre-war stated objectives have been achieve.

Iran has directly announced a $30,000 reward for any Iranian force that captures or kills an American soldier, per Iran's state media IRIB.

Army Chief Maj. Gen. Amir Hatami said the reward comes "from the Iranian people" and is aimed at U.S. forces in the region. The announcement follows the U.S. Rewards for Justice program, which offered up to $10 million for information on Iran's Supreme Leader and senior IRGC officials.

The U.S. Military has also announced that it is preparing 15,000 intercontinental ballistic missiles to respond to an imminent Iranian attack. Officially, if Israel is attacked, Russian bases and all of Iran's interests across the Middle East—including Tehran—will be destroyed, and the entire world will witness the devastation.

Beijing Urges Washington to Take Responsibility for the Middle East Situation

US must it's blockade, repression, and coercive policies against Cuba

China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Sun Lei, said Washington should take responsibility for rising tensions in the Middle East, arguing that U.S. policies have undermined efforts to resolve regional conflicts.

Speaking at the UN, Sun called on the U.S. to abandon policies that Beijing says fuel instability. He also stated that Washington blocked UN Security Council efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, contributing to further escalation, and said China sees a similar pattern emerging over Iran.

Sun urged the U.S. to assess the consequences of its actions, take steps to reduce tensions, and help promote long-term stability in the region.

Donald Trump's led US administration activities in the gulf region remains a destabilizing force for both the global peace and economic stability.

In another related development, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs  has said the blockade and illegal sanctions imposed by the United States on Cuba for over 60 years have caused great suffering to the Cuban people.

The United States must immediately end its blockade, repression, and coercive policies against Cuba.

China resolutely supports Cuba's defense of its national sovereignty and its resistance to foreign interference.

The United States has consistently threatened a 100% tariff on China if it purchases Iranian oil. China has also maintained a consistent response that the country can trade with any other country with the us approval."We buy from whichever country we choose. No one decides this for us."

The US aggression in the middle east against Iran continue, according to a report, US forces began a new wave of strikes against Iran at 6 a.m. ET on Wednesday, targeting military capabilities used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, US Central Command said.

“At 6 a.m. ET today, U.S. Central Command forces began launching a wave of strikes against Iran,” CENTCOM said in a statement.

“The strikes are designed to further degrade military capabilities Iranian forces have used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz,” it added.

The Strait of Hormuz remains closed and at least two ships were stopped over the past 24 hours after warning shots by Iran's Revolutionary Guards navy, an Iranian state television reporter stationed in the waterway said on Wednesday.

The reporter gave no details on the vessels, their flags or destinations.

The IRGC states that the United States should expect the Closure of other Gas and Oil Routes in the coming Days 

IRGC Issued and urgent warning to all civilians that they must leave the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait immediately.

All sailors in the Arabian Gulf should prepare to evacuate their ships — especially those near the Strait of Hormuz, which will be the first to be destroyed.

IRGC commander Admiral Ali Reza Tunsgiri reveals underground missile bases along coast

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Admiral Ali Reza Tunsgiri on Sunday said Iran had built underground missile bases along the Islamic Republic’s Gulf coast, warning of “a nightmare for Iran’s enemies.”

Admiral Tunsgiri told Reuters that “Iran has established missile bases by land and sea along the coasts of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, which will be a nightmare for Iran’s enemies .”

He added that : “As you know, the highest range of our naval missiles in Tagus time was 45 km. It gave a Harbin missile, with technology about 50 years ago and a range of less than 50 km and the end of the Tagut era, but he did not have the opportunity to test the missile. Because the revolution won.”

According to him, “tfter the revolution, the heroes tested it. The American military advisers controlled all the equipment, from ships to destroyers, they built their barracks and their own buildings,” he said, pointing out, “After the revolution, work began on the armed forces and the Ministry of Defense as well as the Navy itself, and these products were built because of the repressive sanctions.”

Iran has offered samples of the updated Soviet armored vehicles, the most noteworthy of which is the PT-50 PK. In addition to upgrading old military equipment, the Persians has also developed their own weapons, many of which, are proving incredibly powerful.

In June, IRGC showcased several missile systems and new weapons to boost their combat capabilities and highlight their domestic ingenuity.
