Putin: I want to say once again,  Russia has no aggressive intentions toward Europe or European countries. We simply have no basis for this whatsoever.

Russia successfully launches ICBM from Plesetsk Cosmodrome — MoD

Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces practiced redeploying a mobile ICBM to a remote location before preparing and launching it

Russia demonstrated one of its mobile nuclear missiles in action as it was fired from Plesetsk in northern Russia and traveled around 5,700 km across the country to the Kura test range in Kamchatka.

They never said exactly which missile it was, but the launcher and setup look like an RS-24 Yars, one of its nuclear missiles that can be driven around instead of sitting in a silo.

 The training warheads reportedly made it to the target as there was no actual nuke on it. That’s why these things are on trucks. They move around, find a spot, fire, and get out of of the spot.

Absolutely, it was a test of the strategic missile system’s performance however , every such launch also serves as a reminder that Russia’s nuclear forces remain operational and combat-ready.

According to the MOF, all assigned tasks were fully executed. The Strategic Missile Forces trained the redeployment mechanism to a remote area for an intercontinental ballistic missile launch battery, including preparation and execution of the launch.

The purpose of the launch was to confirm the tactical, technical, and flight characteristics of the missile system.

According to Moscow Times, the latest launch comes less than a week after unverified reports claimed that Ukrainian drones targeted Plesetsk, Russia’s only military spaceport.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) travelled to Moscow for unannounced talks, the BBC's US news partner CBS has reported.

He made a rare, unannounced visit to Moscow on August 25, 2026, meeting with Russian intelligence counterparts at Vnukovo Airport.

Neither Washington or Moscow have confirmed the nature of the visit or who he was due to meet.

According to a report, the secretive trip—which bypassed a meeting with Vladimir Putin—prompted Washington to ask Ukraine for a brief localized halt on regional drone strikes.

A U.S. military aircraft transported the CIA delegation to Moscow's Vnukovo airport on Tuesday, August 25, before departing later that day.

Ratcliffe held discussions with Russian security and intelligence officials, marking a rare high-level physical presence of a U.S. spy chief in the Russian capital.

U.S. officials requested that Ukraine temporarily suspend air strikes targeting Moscow, St. Petersburg, and select northern zones while the delegation was in transit.


Flight tracking data confirmed a large US military aircraft travelled to Russia from the US via Latvia on Tuesday. It departed later on Tuesday.

Footage posted on social media showed the C-17 transport plane approaching Moscow's Vnukovo international airport.

It departed Riga airport at 05:50 GMT and appeared to have landed in the Russian capital at around 07:04 GMT, according to data from FlightRadar24. It returned to Riga shortly before 17:00 GMT.

TASS: Colombian Fighters Now Nearly Half of Ukraine’s Foreign Contingent,

Russian defence sources, cited by TASS, have reported that Colombian nationals now make up almost half of Ukraine’s estimated 16,500 foreign fighters—more than 7,000 people.

  They say many Western volunteers and contractors from the US, UK, Germany, Canada and elsewhere left after late 2025 and were replaced by lower-cost recruits from Latin America, especially Colombia.

Other sources confirmed that there were recruits from some African countries too.

US and France help Ukraine target facilities in Russia — report

Russia has authority that the United States and France are directly helping Ukraine to target facilities in Russia federation.

' The assets in the crosshairs include Russia’s oil refineries, depots, and plants of the military-industrial complex, FT admits.

The new Western plot is to try attacking the facilities in such a way so as to keep them damaged for as long as possible, in hopes to make the conflict "more costly" for Russia.

The campaign reportedly has two objectives: limit Russia’s oil trade and reduce its ability to supply troops with weapons.

Another new aspect pointed out by the outlet is that Ukrainian drone units get advice from energy Ukraine’s specialists "on which components are indispensable to refinery operations and which would take the longest to replace" — using the fact both Russia and Ukraine have similar Soviet-designed energy systems.

On June 5, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that deep strikes against Russian facilities are impossible for Ukraine to conduct on its own. Thus, such attacks transform the West into direct belligerents in the conflict.

 "If we see that these countries are being drawn into a war against us, and this is precisely their direct participation in the war against the Russian Federation, then we reserve the right to act in a similar manner," Putin said.

Russian Official Warns: Ballistic Missile Attacks on Moscow or St. Petersburg Would Require Kyiv Evacuation

Ukrainian drone hits civilian bus in Russia’s Belgorod region 

A Russian official has warned Ukraine that any ballistic missile strikes on major Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, would trigger the need to evacuate Kyiv. 

The statement comes amid reports of Ukraine planning longer-range ballistic missile strikes on Russian major cities soon.

Ukraine is developing FP-9 ballistic missile capable of reaching deep into Russia.

"A Ukrainian UAV struck a civilian bus in Shebekino this morning. 19 civilians injured. 18 taken to hospital," the region’s acting governor, Alexander Shuvayev, said.

Six of the injured are in serious condition and will be transferred to Belgorod hospitals, he added.   

This has been the latest strike in a series of Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian infrastructure and populated areas:

In June, a Ukrainian drone struck a bus carrying a children's football team from Belarus in Russian Bryansk region, killing a woman accompanying the team and injuring eight people, including six children

In May, a drone strike on a dormitory in the city of Starobelsk in the Lugansk People's Republic killed at least 12 people and wounded more than 40, with a missile hitting a residential area

Russian strikes continue to hit Ukrainian ports and vessels supplying the military 

The attacks targeted a trans-shipment facility and fuel depots in Nikolayev's port, and also hit a cargo vessel at sea that was hauling military supplies to Odessa and Chernomorsk.

Beijing Rejects Trump's Claims' Says China supports Iran in protecting its sovereignty, security, and national dignity

Says Iran remains a “comprehensive strategic partner”  

China on Friday vehemently pushed back against President Trump’s claim that Chinese President Xi pledged Beijing would never provide weapons to Iran.


According to the reports, responding to the remarks, China’s Foreign Ministry reaffirmed that Iran remains a “comprehensive strategic partner” and said Beijing supports Iran in protecting its sovereignty, security, and national dignity.


The statement marks Beijing’s first public response to Trump’s assertion and underscores that China is maintaining its diplomatic backing for Tehran despite growing regional tensions as it's foreign ministry directly rejected Donald Trump's claim that Beijing pledged not to supply weapons to Iran, reaffirming its "strong support" for Tehran's sovereignty and security.


US President Donald Trump claimed Chinese President Xi and Russian President Putin told him China and Russia "would not, under any circumstances, give or sell weapons to Iran." Beijing's foreign ministry responded by declaring its support for Iran's "sovereignty, security, and national dignity" — a diplomatic posture that casts doubt on Trump's narrative.

China has previously dismissed reports of weapons transfers to Iran as "baseless smears."

Trump also denied selling weapons to Ukraine to fight Russia. The relationship between Moscow and Tehran can not be overemphasized.

The President of the United States Donald Trump on Friday said both the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Chinese President Xi Jun ping have assumed him they will not sell weapons to the Iran.






Trump denied selling weapons to Ukraine, claiming the United States simply sells them to NATO countries.




He stated that he "has no idea how the weapons are distributed" after purchase.




In the same publication, the American president noted that neither Russia nor China supplies weapons to Iran.

President Trump said he takes at face value testimony from the leaders of China and Russia that they are not providing weapons to Iran or otherwise “participating” in its war with the United States and Israel.




The president’s defense, issued in a statement on his social media site Truth Social, comes after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told lawmakers that Russia and China are “enabling Iran.”




According to Trump, “President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies,” Trump wrote, referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping.




He Said, “Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also. Likewise, President Putin … told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran.”




“Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests.” He said.

Israel's IDF is expected to join in the coalition campaigns against Iran.


Sources confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a nearly 5-hour security cabinet meeting Saturday amid ongoing tensions with Iran.

Decision reached on the conditions to join the campaign; Israel is expected to join the campaign if Iran attacks Israel, if Washington requests it, and if the operation expands beyond tactical strikes around the Strait of Hormuz to include Iran's regime and nuclear program.




According to sources familiar with the discussions with Washington, Israel and the U.S. are fully aligned on the next phase.




Again, Netanyahu is expected to travel to Washington on Monday to meet President Trump on Tuesday, where the two are expected to coordinate their next steps.

That means hotels. Residential buildings. Beaches. Malls. Multiple civilian locations are in serious danger.




America, the UK, Australia, Germany and France are telling their citizens to get out of the Middle East. Airports in the UAE and Kuwait could suffer shutdowns for months.




The Persian Military has warmed the UK with Khorramshahr-4 Intercontinental ballistic missiles, declaring RAF Fairford and Diego Garcia "legitimate targets" for hosting U.S. B-1 bombers, Tasnim News.




"The U.S. shifted to British bases after depleting cruise missile stocks. We warn the British monarchy not to burden its case further."




The Khorramshahr-4, used in the March 19 strike on Diego Garcia (3,800km away), could reach parts of the UK. Britain would have just 20 minutes warning — Mach 10.

As tensions in the Persian Gulf are escalating and the opposing sides continue to exchange strikes, causing extensive damage to civilian infrastructure in Iran and the Arab states, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warms of repercussions  a in a statement.

“Russia urges all parties to the conflict to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could further escalate the conflict and further deteriorate the military-political situation in the Middle East.”

A negative development in the situation would be fraught with critical consequences for international energy and food security, Zakharova warned.

Iran has directly rejected any renewed U.S.-backed ceasefire initiative mediated by Qatar or any other party, with Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi saying Tehran will take no meaningful diplomatic steps until Washington changes its approach and respects Iran's interests.

"The problem is America's approach, which is illogical, excessive, and domineering," Araghchi said in an interview with Iranian state TV. "Their domineering nature has been met with our firm responses, and until they understand that there is no way forward except respecting the Iranian nation, there is no opportunity for us to take any meaningful steps."

American President Donald Trump announces the US is about to carry out a massive attack on Iran "way bigger than Operation Epic Fury and bigger than any attack ever carried out before," saying "we are all set for it," and are "close to making a decision," Trump tells Axios.

This comes as Israel have been placed on maximum alert with numerous anti-missile shelters opening in Israel today, including the suburbs of Tel Aviv.

Trump also says Iranians "haven't received enough pain yet" and claims they "want to negotiate" but are not ready to make a deal, contradicting Iran's comprehensive no-negotiations with the US doctrine reaffirmed by Ghalibaf, Gharibabadi, Marandi, and Baghaei this week.

He said he was seriously considering resuming a broader war against Iran and launching an attack larger than Operation Epic Fury, but said he had not made a final decision. “I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than anything that has happened before. I am close to making a decision. We are fully prepared for it,” Trump told Channel 12 journalist Barak Ravid in a brief telephone interview.

Trump gave no timeframe for a decision. Channel 12 cited two other US officials as saying no decision had been made and no new orders had been issued to the military.

Trump said Israel “would join within two minutes if I asked,” but added that the United States did not need anyone to launch a new operation against Iran.

He said there would be “consequences” if Israel joined the strikes, appearing to refer to possible Iranian retaliation against Israel.

Trump said the Iranians “want to negotiate” but were not yet prepared to reach an agreement.

Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have demonstrated their capabilities to send ballistic missiles to any part of the Gulf region.

Iranian forces have ultimately destroyed all the US military bases across the middle east. If Israel should join or allow the US fighter jets in it's territory, Iran's military must attack Israel.

The US is directly participating in Ukrainian strikes against targets inside Russia by supplying weapons, intelligence, and communications support to Kiev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Lavrov rejected Western claims that Russia and China were allegedly supplying Iran with weapons used to attack American military facilities.

He accused Washington of hypocrisy, pointing to its own role in the Ukraine conflict.

“The Americans, through arms supplies paid for by the European Union, the provision of intelligence, the Starlink system and much more, are not simply helping, but are directly participating in guiding Ukrainian weapons toward targets, including civilian targets, on Russian territory,” Lavrov said.

Despite this, he said Moscow remained committed to the understandings reached by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump during their meeting in Anchorage last year.

Lavrov recalled that Putin had accepted compromise proposals put forward by Washington, while Trump publicly backed negotiating a long-term peace agreement rather than a temporary ceasefire.

Russia continues to regard those understandings as valid because the US has not formally rejected its own proposals, Lavrov said, adding that he intends to seek clarification on Washington’s current position during an upcoming meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Russia has repeatedly condemned the supply of Western weapons, intelligence, and targeting assistance to Ukraine, arguing that such support makes NATO countries direct participants in the conflict.

Moscow has also warned that continued military aid is prolonging the fighting and increasing the risk of a direct confrontation between Russia and the West.

Commenting on Europe’s growing military spending and preparations for a potential conflict with Russia, Lavrov said Moscow was drawing conclusions not only analytically but also in terms of its “material readiness” for any scenario.

He reiterated that Russia has no intention of attacking Europe, but warned that if Western states decide to gather “under the familiar banners and try to attack us, it will no longer be a conventional war.”

On July 23, Lavrov held a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of #ASEAN ministerial meetings in Manila.

The two sides held an in-depth exchange of views on a broad range of bilateral and international issues in follow-up to the recent high-level contacts.

When talking on the Ukraine issue, Sergey Lavrov informed his American colleague about the real situation on the contact line, highlighting the inadmissibility of the continued supply of weapons to the Kiev regime and the destabilising activities of European countries, which are still seeking to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia.

Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed Russia’s readiness for a political and diplomatic settlement in Ukraine and its commitment to the proposals advanced by the United States at the meeting of President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, which the Russian leader has accepted.

They also talked about regional and international issues, including the situation in the Persian Gulf.

Sergey Lavrov and Marco Rubio welcomed the resumption of full-scale contacts between Roscosmos and NASA, and spoke in favour of resuming interparliamentary exchanges and cultural ties.

They also discussed the normalisation of conditions for the functioning of Russian and US diplomatic missions.

An agreement was reached to maintain contacts between the two foreign policy agencies, including in the framework of the two countries’ activities at international organisations

Russia fired ballistic missiles at Kyiv causing fires. Atleast 2 people were killed and several injured.

This happened while EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was visiting Kyiv to discuss stronger defense cooperation and EU support for Ukraine.

Russian officials and media described the strikes as a warning against EU visits and actions that they say prolong the war.

A US license to produce Patriot anti-aircraft missiles would not help Kiev begin making them before the conflict ends, Defense Priorities analyst Jennifer Kavanagh told Sputnik.

She called the plan highly unrealistic, noting that any factory would be a priority target for Russian attacks, making it impossible to launch production.

US President Donald Trump had during the NATO submit in Turkey promised the Ukrainian leaders the license to produce the American defense system at home.

The Patriot anti-aircraft missiles have been of very little or no effect before the Russian air campaigns in it's special military operations.

A  US Senator, Lindsey Graham before his death visited a SkyFall drone production facility in Ukraine on the past 48 hours, where he viewed advanced combat drones and called for stronger US-Ukraine cooperation. Simultaneously.

At the same time, Russia launched massive strikes on Ukrainian drone manufacturing and infrastructure sites, including in the Kyiv region. Sources confirmed that Graham returned home and died suddenly on July 11 evening at age 71 from a “brief and sudden illness.” 

No confirmed link exists between the strikes and his death.

IRGC has also warned the residents of Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates to avoid American bases and areas where missile systems are located, as they may become targets for attacks in the near future.

IRGC also claims it destroyed a command and control center and MQ-9 reconnaissance drone depots with several ballistic missiles in Jordan.

Retired U.S. Army Major General Randy Manner says the Hormuz standoff exposes a stark reality. While Washington says the strait is open and Tehran says it’s closed, CENTCOM data reportedly shows traffic has fallen from around 140 ships per day before the war to about 140 per week.

On diplomacy, he argues the administration lacks a credible negotiating team and sees neither a military nor diplomatic solution.

His prediction: Trump eventually pays Iran billions and quietly accepts Iranian control over its side of the Strait of Hormuz.

Putin Always Open to Dialogue 

President Donald Trump announced in Ankara, Turkey during a NATO submit that the United States will give Ukraine a license to manufacture Patriot air-defense interceptor missiles.


This follows an acclaimed Ukraine’s recent battlefield successes that impressed him. The move also aims to strengthen Ukraine’s defenses against Russian attacks by enabling local production of the Patriot air-defense interceptor missiles. while fitting into a broader plan of increased military funding by NATO allies to help Ukraine push for breakthroughs and negotiate peace from a stronger position.


According to a Russian news outlet, quoting  the head of state's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, there is possibility of a conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump over the war in Ukraine.

Dmitry Peskov during Thursday's briefing made the hints , adding that Russia believes US President Donald Trump was mistaken in suggesting that an escalation of military operations between Russia and Ukraine could contribute to an early settlement: "This is a misconception. Rising tensions and further escalation cannot contribute to a peace process in any way."

About the possibility of a Putin-Trump conversation

- US President Donald Trump, who had planned to call Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday, was apparently busy after his meetings in Ankara and did not contact Moscow, but the Russian president is always glad to speak with his US counterpart: "Mr. Trump was apparently very busy after all his contacts in Ankara, so no one called yesterday."




- Putin "is open to dialogue

President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Donald Trump of the United States have managed to maintain a constructive dialogue despite their differences: "They maintain a truly constructive dialogue despite the differences they might have."





"The more strikes Kiev carries out inside Russia, the broader the buffer zone Moscow will have to establish along the Ukrainian border: "The more strikes the Kiev regime carries out on our infrastructure facilities, the wider the security zones we will need to create. Further escalation will likely prolong the special military operation to some extent, although I cannot say by how much, and it will certainly force us to create a broader buffer security zone."




- US President Donald Trump's statements regarding a possible closure of the Ukrainian airspace are new developments; this topic has not been discussed before and needs to be thoroughly studied.

 "No one had previously raised the issue of closing the airspace. In any case, this would imply operational activities by NATO member states' armed forces over Ukrainian territory. This is precisely what the special military operation is intended to prevent. This [proposal] needs to be studied. It definitely needs to be thoroughly analyzed to understand how this issue has been worked out, between whom it has been worked out, etc


About the US position on Ukraine

Moscow perceives a duplicity in Washington's stance, with the United States simultaneously supplying weapons to Kiev while professing to support efforts toward peace: "We recognize discrepancies in the US position. On one hand, they continue to provide arms to the Kiev regime; on the other, unlike some other countries involved in this conflict, they claim to be committed to facilitating the peace process."




- Russia welcomes the United States' genuine willingness to help launch a peace process on Ukraine: "Still, unlike the Europeans, the United States maintains a willingness to help launch a peace process. Even if it sometimes misunderstands certain issues and makes mistakes, we believe this willingness is genuine, and we welcome it."




Washington is actively continuing to supply weapons and military technologies to Kiev; Moscow is well aware of this and has no delusions: "As for Patriot, yes, it is an obvious fact: the United States generally continues to supply weapons and military technologies to Ukraine. This is indeed true and we know it. We are in no way delusional. Russian President [Vladimir] Putin is well aware of this."




- Moscow hopes that Washington will resume its efforts on the Ukrainian track after it deals with the situation around Iran: "We hope that after, despite the significant complication, the USs still manage to sort out the situation around Iran, it will be time for them to resume their efforts on the Ukrainian track."
