Samuel Eto'o calls for overhauling of bad system In Nigeria as Super Eagles May not Qualify for 2026 FIFA World Cup

Eto'o, Okocha

The African football legend and the Chairman of the Cameroonian Football Association Samuel Eto'o has called for  reformation and overhauling of the bad system in the Nigerian Football Federation.

Eto'o speaking  on ESPN sport news said if the Nigeria's Super Eagles who are currently the best players and team in Africa didn't qualify for the world cup 2026 , then it's a call for reformation, overhauling their bad system.

He said : "If I must be honest with you their is a smelling & bad system in Nigeria Football for years, we are all aware, it's never the fault of the players, they are doing well outside in their different clubs, the current African BEST player is from Nigeria, the past was from Nigeria. "

"If you noticed, even the referees denied Nigeria their rights because they no longer see the NFF effective, I'm sorry to say this, no ref would boldly ignore punishing a player who intentionally injured an international player like Osimhen, no card was issued nothing at all."

"I'm not condemning Nigeria either, in Africa the Best players are from Nigeria but they lack good management, we have great ex Footballers in Nigeria yet politicians are appointed to run the Football affairs, leaving the experienced Footballers behind."

" So if Nigeria by chance didn't qualify for the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers matches then i think it's good so that the country will sit up, since the county are in the verge of electing new NFF leadership then I'm urging the Nigeria Football fans to rally round for Jay Jay Okocha to emerge victorious by then we can work with him."

" Personally I love Nigeria and our friendship has been a top notch I enjoyed a lot of praises from Nigerians fans I'm not blind, we know counties that recognizes greatness and Nigeria happens to be number one among those countries."

"In conclusion I want to cheer all African countries to emulate the lifestyle of NIGERIANS, loving and caring for their visitors. Thank you everyone, good luck to African players."

FIFAWCQ: Super Eagles Should humiliate South Africans with 5 Goals for Inhumane treatment — Samuel Eto'o

FIFAWCQ: Super Eagles Should humiliate South Africans with 5 Goals for Inhumane treatment — Samuel Eto'o

An African and international football legend Samuel Eto'o  has condemned the inhumane treatment melted out against the Nigerian players ahead of the clash between the Bafana Bafana and the Super Eagles.

According to Samuel Eto'o: "Honestly I wasn't happy the way and manners the south Africans treated Nigerian players, that doesn't portray the good image of Africa at all, I was waiting for any one to innìate to a petition against South Africa and I Eto'o would have been the first person to sign it, same thing I will do if it were. to be  my own country that did such to other African countries.

"At first the super Eagles slept at the airport, international players that has taken over Europe and other great countries they deserve to be respected and treated well, secondly they trained on the roadside before a pitch was provided for them to train, that's madness to me."

"Why subjecting your opponent to suffering simply because you are afraid of them, if you believe in your heart you can't beat Nigeria then ask FIFA to cancel the match, give out the 3 points to Nigeria in peace without any stress, CÃF should address this inhumane treatment in our next meeting."

Let me be honest with you, I'm supporting the Nigeria super Eagles to humiliate South Africans today with 5 Goals or more to serve as a punìshment to them, let's remember that we are one Africa and can't succeed in division. " he said

Yoruba People Are So Loud... You Can Smell A Nigerian From A Mile Away - Iwobi Boasts

Alexander Chuka Iwobi

Fulham and Super Eagles midfielder Alexander Chuka Iwobi has revealed what he loves about being a Nigerian.

Iwobi stated this in a recent interview with Kiss Fresh, London, United Kingdom.

When asked, “What do you love about Nigerians and being Nigerian?” Iwobi replied, “You can smell a Nigerian from a mile away. Our mannerisms are so Nigerian, especially Yoruba people. Yoruba people are so loud.

"My favourite thing about the country is that everyone is so welcoming, rich in hospitality and it’s like one big family. Everyone who is doing well tries to give back to their communities. Every footballer that I am with always try to give back to where they come from. That’s an amazing thing.

“The first thing I do whenever I land in Nigeria and I’m in my hotel room, I order pounded yam and egusi.”

On his choice of Nigeria instead of England, Iwobi stated he respects England but feels more at home in Nigeria, adding that football in Nigeria is like a festival, stressing that the entertaining atmosphere in Nigerian stadia gives him a sense of belonging.

“I actually felt more at home in Nigeria. Football out there is like a festival, it’s like a party. You go into the game, you see people blowing trumpets, and drums, it doesn’t even feel like a proper match. I was like, ‘Yeah, this is where I belong.’

“Of course, I have respect for England but I have no regret in choosing Nigeria.”

Iwobi represented England up to under-18 level. He made his senior international debut for Nigeria in October 2015.

The 28 years old Alexander Chuka Iwobi MON is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Fulham and the Nigeria national team.

Iwobi began his career at Arsenal, making 149 appearances and scoring fifteen goals.

The Playmaker is expected to boss the Super Eagles midfield when they play South Africa next weekend.
