While there has not been any official confirmation from Tehran.  Source says the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is insisting on the swift appointment of the next leader of the Islamic Republic after Ali Khamenei's death, sources with knowledge of the matter told Iran International.

Iranian state media, citing the Red Crescent, on Saturday evening said at least 201 people had been killed and more than 700 injured. Iran retaliated by firing missiles and drones toward Israel and U.S. military bases in the region.

According to the Fox news report, a senior Israeli security official says 40 Iranian security and regime figures were killed in Israel’s opening strike on Tehran.

The U.S. government agrees with the Israeli assessment that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead, a senior U.S. defense official tells reporters.

United States President Donald Trump told newsmen, “we feel certain” that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is dead. “We feel that is a correct story.”

Fox News also quoted a US official as saying the United States believes Khamenei and five to 10 top Iranian leaders were killed in an initial Israeli strike.

According to Iran military monitor, Imam Khamenei said "Iran has never fired the first shot in any confrontation, not even against the United States. However, it has delivered its retaliatory blows with force."

United Nations secretary general Antonio Guterres said lasting peace can only come through peaceful dialogue.

I condemn the military escalation in the Middle East today.

The strikes by the US & Israel against Iran & the subsequent attacks by Iran undermine international security.

These actions carry the risk of igniting a chain of events that no one can control in the most volatile region of the world.

Lasting peace can only be achieved through peaceful means, including genuine dialogue and negotiations.

The @UN Charter provides the foundation for the maintenance of international peace & security.

Guterres told an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council on the U.S. and Israeli airstrikes that "everything must be done to prevent a further escalation."

Guterres stated that he was 'not in a position' to confirm Ali Khamenei's death, and that he deeply regretted the 'squandered' opportunity for diplomacy.

Saudi Arabia to Trump: Strike Iran or you will see Tehran grow stronger.

Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman made it clear in a statement during a special briefing session in Washington yesterday Friday.

Prince Khalid bin Salman told the audience, including heads of research centers and American officials, that if President Trump does not carry out his repeated threats to strike Iran, "that will only lead to emboldening the regime", and that Tehran will come out of it stronger.

This represents a notable shift in the tone of the public Saudi position, which emphasized de-escalation, opposition to the broader war, and refused to allow the United States to use Saudi airspace or land to strike against Iran.

Israel -Iran War: Tehran Used ‘Undetectable’ Missile in Strike on Israeli Intelligence Site as Donald Trump calls for unconditional surrender of Islamic Spiritual Leader

Israel -Iran War: Tehran Used ‘Undetectable’ Missile in Strike on Israeli Intelligence Site as Donald Trump calls for unconditional surrender of Islamic Spiritual Leader

While US President Donald Trump called for the Iranian supreme leader to surrender, Tehran confirmed it use undetectable ballistic missiles against Israel causing devastated damages to the Tel Aviv and allies.

China's XI Jinping called for de-escalation of the tensions between Israel and Iran.

Iran military has prepared ballistic missiles ready for American bases and assets in the middle east should US entered the war. Iranian sources confirmed.

Iranian Revolutionary Guard said the force targeted Israeli air bases that are being used against Iran.

According to the Iran's Ministry of Defense, a new and undetectable missile in a recent strike targeting Israeli intelligence facilities were deployed.

Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesperson for the Iranian Defense Ministry made the announcement in Tuesday in remarks carried by the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

“In today’s attack, we deployed missiles that could not be tracked or intercepted,” Talaei-Nik stated, asserting that the new technology successfully bypassed Israel’s layered air defense systems.

According to Al Jazeera, he referred to the strike as a “surprise” for Israel and warned that more such operations are to come.

According to Iranian officials, the strike hit two critical Israeli intelligence assets — a military intelligence center and a Mossad operations planning facility.

While Israel has not officially confirmed the extent of the damage, military sources say the country’s northern and central regions remain on high alert.

Talaei-Nik added that the Israeli military is not equipped for a prolonged conflict, suggesting that the balance of military readiness now favors Iran.

“The Zionist regime cannot withstand a long war,” he said.

He further claimed that Iran’s armed forces possess advanced systems “some of which have not yet even been deployed.”

This latest development comes amid an escalating confrontation between Israel and Iran, now in its sixth day.

Both sides have exchanged missile strikes and cyberattacks, with significant regional and international implications.

While Iran touts the effectiveness of its new missile capabilities, Israeli officials have reiterated their resolve to dismantle Iran’s military infrastructure, particularly its nuclear and ballistic programs.

The use of next-generation weaponry by Iran — if verified — may mark a turning point in the conflict, raising concerns over further escalation and the broader regional fallout.

Deceptions of the West and why Cease Fire May be impossible in Russia/Ukraine War - Putin

Ukraine says 37 killed in Russia missile strike

Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated his position and that of the Russia federation on a possible ceasefire along the contact line with Ukraine and why it may be impossible based on repeated deceptions by the NATO allies propelling Ukraine.

According to President Putin: "When our troops were near Kiev, we received a proposal and even a plea from our Western partners to cease fire and stop hostilities in order for certain things to be done on the Ukrainian side. We did it."

"There was a moment when we did it. The Ukrainian side did not cease hostilities. Later we were told that the official Ukrainian authorities could not control all their military units, because there were allegedly those that were not subordinate to the central authorities. This is what we were told, no more and no less. This is first."

" Second, we were asked to move our troops away from Kiev in order to create conditions to finally sign a peace treaty. We did this and faced deception once again: all the agreements reached in Istanbul were thrown in the trash. Such things happened repeatedly."

"Therefore, we cannot just declare a ceasefire hoping that the opposing side will take some positive steps."

"We also cannot allow the adversary to take advantage of this ceasefire to improve its positions, rearm itself, fill up its army through forced mobilization, and get prepared to continue the armed conflict. We must ensure that the opposing side agrees to take steps that would be irreversible and acceptable to the Russian Federation."

" Therefore, a ceasefire is impossible without reaching this agreement" , Putin said  .

Russia, North Korea Pledged Mutual support , Signed an Agreement on “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

Russia, North Korea Pledged Mutual support , Signed an Agreement on “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

In a very rare visit to North Korea, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Korea’s Kim Jong Un signed a comprehensive strategic pact on Wednesday pledging to come to each other’s assistance in case of a military attack.

This is amidst the ongoing Russia's Special Military Operation in Ukraine as US led NATO declared more support for Ukrainian President.

Vladimir Putin, in this first and official visit to the North Korean capital, Pyongyang since 2000, affirmed that Russia and North Korea “pursue an independent foreign policy and do not accept the language of blackmail and diktat.”

He said: “The comprehensive partnership agreement signed today provides, among other things, for mutual assistance in the event of aggression against one of the parties to this agreement"

As United States and other NATO nations ganged up against Russia, President Putin is seeking to maintaining strong ties with partners who share anti-Western stance, including China, Iran and North Korea and other members of the Brics.

Korean leader Kim extolled the “firm alliance” with Moscow and openly backed Russia's special military operations inUkraine, the strongest support for Russia’s invasion from any foreign leader.

According to the Russian leader, “Moscow and Pyongyang will continue to oppose the practice of sanctions strangulation that the West has become accustomed to, calling for a review of U.N. sanctions against North Korea over its nuclear weapons program.

"Supporting North Korea’s right to “take justified measures” to ensure its national security has increased  Western fears of new Russian military and technological support for North Korea.

Russian President blamed the “confrontational policy” of the United States for undermining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

“We categorically reject the attempts to blame [North Korea] for the worsening situation,” Putin said, adding that Pyongyang was “entitled to take justified measures to strengthen its national defense capacities, ensure national security, and protect its sovereignty.”

Russia for years backed U.N. sanctions against North Korea but in March vetoed a Security Council vote on extending a U.N. panel of experts monitoring sanctions compliance. Since then, senior Russian officials have repeatedly used the term “strangulation” to describe the U.N. sanctions.

Putin first visited North Korea in 2000, shortly after his election as president, becoming the only Russian or Soviet leader to travel to Pyongyang. He wanted to restore his country’s influence over the Korean Peninsula. For the next 24 years, he saw no need to return — until Wednesday.

After an ostentatious welcome ceremony and an afternoon of meetings, the two emerged to announce their shared vision of a united front against the West and the U.S.-led global order. Putin asserted his country’s fight against “decades of imperialist policies” of the United States and its allies. In turn, North Korea promised “full support and solidarity for the Russian government, army and people” in the war in Ukraine, state media agencies reported.

The two leaders signed an agreement on “comprehensive strategic partnership,” Russian media reported. The text was not immediately published, but Russian officials said before the meeting that it would replace previous key documents.

Whatever the ultimate extent of the agreement, it served as a clear rejoinder to President Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky just six days after they signed a 10-year security agreement, committing the United States to provide Kyiv with a wide range of military aid.

For decades after the founding of North Korea in 1945, the Soviet Union served as its main economic and security benefactor.

NATO to put nuclear weapons on standby amid growing threat from Russia & China

NATO to put nuclear weapons on standby amid growing threat from Russia & China

NATO's remark was an "escalation of tension" says Russia

NATO Chief

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO ) is in talks to deploy more nuclear weapons, taking them out of storage and placing them on standby, in the face of what it called a growing threat from Russia and China, the head of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg said on Monday.

Stoltenberg , according to UK 's Telegraph newspaper said there were live consultations between members to use transparency around its nuclear arsenal as a deterrent."I won't go into operational details about how many nuclear warheads should be operational and which should be stored, but we need to consult on these issues. That's exactly what we're doing," he told the paper.

The NATO chief said it was necessary to show the world the alliance's nuclear arsenal to send a clear message to potential enemies.

He said: "Transparency helps to communicate the direct message that we, of course, are a nuclear alliance." NATO's aim is, of course, a world without nuclear weapons, but as long as nuclear weapons exist, we will remain a nuclear alliance, because a world where Russia, China and North Korea have nuclear weapons, and NATO does not, is a more dangerous world."

Stoltenberg said last week that nuclear weapons were NATO's "ultimate security guarantee" and a means to preserve peace.

The Kremlin said Stoltenberg's remark was an "escalation of tension". Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the comments appeared to contradict a communique issued at a weekend conference in Switzerland that said any threat or use of nuclear weapons in the Ukraine context was inadmissible.

Stoltenberg later said Russia was trying to create confusion and that his comments referred to the modernisation of Nato's nuclear deterrent, including the replacement of F-16 jets with F-35s and the modernisation of weapons deployed in Europe, which he said has been known for a long time.

Russia is trying a way to always also create a situation where they can blame Nato, and the reality is that Nato is transparent," Stoltenberg told reporters on a visit to Washington. A Nato spokesperson had earlier sought to clarify Stoltenberg's remarks, saying: "We have an ongoing modernisation programme to replace legacy weapons and aircraft. Beyond that, there are no significant changes to our nuclear deterrent."

Russia, which sent troops into Ukraine in 2022, says the US and its European allies are pushing the world to the brink of nuclear confrontation by giving Ukraine billions of dollars worth of weapons. Prez Putin has said Russia is technically ready for nuclear war, and that Moscow could use nuclear weapons to defend itself in extreme circumstances.

#UKRAINEWAR: President Putin Approves Arming US and NATO's Enemies with Russian Weapons

Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved that Russia can harm territories and regions that are in conflicts with United States and other NATO nations with Russian Weapons.

Putin, for the first time ever acknowledged the possibility of sending Russian weapons to the regions that fight against the states who provide arms to the Ukraine.

Russia has resulted to the African political theory: "the friends of my friends are my friends; the enemies of my enemies are my friends.." as the country will also provide weapons to any State of ground in conflicts with United States, NATO members and allies.

The war in Ukraine is a defacto US and NATO direct proxy war against Russia , been financing by American tax prayers.

Tehran deploys warships to Red Sea as Iranian President Raisi vows ‘slightest attack’ will be met with a ‘strong and fierce response

Iranian President

As the world calls for calm in the middle east, President Raisi vows ‘slightest attack’ will be met with a ‘strong and fierce response’.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi  said any “tiniest attack” by Israel would bring a “massive and harsh” response,

He affirmed strong response  as concern over the threat of full-scale war in the Middle East persists.

Raisi’s warning came on Wednesday as he spoke at Iran’s annual army parade.

The world is braced for potential retaliation to Iran’s attack on Israel which took place over the weekend. Israel has pledged to respond, despite calls for it to hold back persisting on all sides, and the UK’s foreign minister suggested on Wednesday as he visited Israel that it has decided to “act”.

Israel's political and military leaders pledged to respond, despite persistence calls for Tel Aviv to hold back and restraint on all sides including the UK’s foreign Minister's suggestion on Wednesday as he visited Israel that it has decided to “act”.

Speaking at the ceremony, Raisi hailed Iran’s direct attack on Israel, dubbed “True Promise”, and reiterated recent threats of a “strong and fierce response”.

Since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, an attack on Israel by the Palestinian group Hamas in October, set off the war in Gaza, Iranian allies in Lebanon and Yemen have been engaged in low-level hostilities with Israel.

However, a suspected Israeli strike on Iran’s consulate in Syria on April 1 prompted Iran’s first-ever direct attack against Israel.

“The people of the world saw that after the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, ‘True Promise’ collapsed the Zionist regime’s false hegemony,” Raisi asserted.

Calling that attack “limited” he claimed that if Iran had wanted to carry out a bigger attack, “nothing would remain from the Zionist regime”.

Iranian officials have declared that any retaliation by Israel would be met with a swift response.

“That is the time when the supporters of the Zionist regime will find out that their hidden power will not be able to do anything,” the president said, according to a statement published on his official website.

Decision to act’

Raisi also hit out at Israel’s allies. “Those countries that sought to normalise relations with this cruel and criminal regime, are ashamed before their nations today,” he said.

Fears that Israel’s war on Gaza risks an escalation into all-out war have peaked as Israel’s response to Iran’s attack is awaited.

Israel’s allies in the United States and Europe, Japan and Australia, have called for restraint, just as Russia and China have urged caution from Iran. However, Israeli officials have pledged that a response will come.

It's a  right to show solidarity with Israel. It’s right to have made our views clear about what should happen next but it’s clear the Israelis are making a decision to act,” the UK’s foreign minister, David Cameron, told reporters during his visit to Tel Aviv.

“We hope they do so in a way that does as little to escalate this as possible, and in a way that … is smart as well as tough,” he added.

Red Sea preparations

As part of Tehran’s preparations for an Israeli response, Iran’s naval commander said on Wednesday that warships will be deployed in the Red Sea to escort Iranian commercial shipping.

“The Navy is carrying out a mission to escort Iranian commercial ships to the Red Sea and our Jamaran frigate is present in the Gulf of Aden in this view,” Naval Commander Shahram Irani said, according to the semiofficial Tasnim news agency.

Tehran is ready to escort vessels of other countries, he added.

The Red Sea has seen significant disruption to Israel-bound shipping due to attacks from Yemen’s Houthi group.

The Iran-backed group has been attacking ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November in what they say is a campaign of solidarity with Palestinians and against Israel’s continuing war on Gaza.

UN Chief: People of Sudan need more than humanitarian support

Monday marks one year since the start of fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces.

This is more than a conflict between two warring parties.

It is a war being waged on the Sudanese people
The world is forgetting about the people of Sudan.

Half of the country’s population needs lifesaving assistance.

But they need more than humanitarian support.

They need an end to the bloodshed.

They need peace.

The only path out of this horror is a political solution.

President Biden tells Israeli PM Netanyahu US won’t support counterattack against Iran: Report

President Biden tells Israeli PM Netanyahu US won’t support counterattack against Iran: Report

The US president told the Israeli prime minister during a call yesterday that the US will not support any Israeli counterattack against Iran, Axios has cited a senior White House official as saying.

Joe Biden also told Benjamin Netanyahu the joint defensive actions by Israel, the US and other countries in the region led to the repelling of the Iranian attack, according to the White House official.

“You got a win. Take the win,” the US president told Netanyahu, according to the official.

The official said that when Biden told Netanyahu that the US would not take in any offensive operations against Iran and would not support such operations, the Israeli prime minister said he understood.

During a telephone conversation, the  two leaders spent 25 minutes on the phone, with the US president saying the US will continue to support Israel in its defence but reportedly also that it will not participate in any offensive actions against Iran.

There are also reports that Israel has been offering assurances to the US that any next steps it takes will be done in consultation, giving warning to the US prior to any military action being taken. We’re seeing leaders in Washington now looking forward to what this next step by Israel might be.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says the US does not seek further conflict with Iran. Those words were echoed by Antony Blinken, the US secretary of state. But he added the US is willing to defend Israel and its own personnel in the region.

Islamic Republic of Iran says it warned US its bases will be targeted if it backed an Israeli response

The Islamic Republic of  Iran has warned US its bases will be targeted if it backed an Israeli response against Tehran.

According to Mohammad Bagheri who is the chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces, an Israeli response to the Iranian military operation would be “much bigger”, Tasnim reports.

The Iranian news agency quoted him as saying that the reason for last night’s attack was that Israel had crossed Iran’s red lines.

Bagheri added that Iran has conveyed a message to the US through the Swiss embassy that if it participated “in further aggressive Zionist moves through its bases or military assets across the region, and this is proven to us, its bases and assets and personnel in the region will have no security”.

He added: “We will see it as aggressor as well and react accordingly.”
