Terrorism and Banditry: Say Amen To Gumi's Prayers

Terrorism and Banditry: Say Amen To Gumi's Prayers

 My prayer today:

Ya Allah!

Whoever initiated or is behind this insecurity and bloodbath in Nigeria, whether foreign or citizen, or has any benefit, material or otherwise, or is even happy that people are being killed, or willingly did nothing to stop it, may by Your divine power be exposed and Your anger poured upon them and punished immediately without harm to the innocent. Amin.

Say Amin!

The above is the prayer offered by the Northern Islamic Cleric Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Mahud Gumi. Won't you say Amen To Gumi's Prayers.

Gumi has been the spokesperson of the Bandits and kidnappers, an intermediary negotiating with the Bandits. He was denied entry to Saudi Arabia this year for security concerns.

Abubakar Gumi has been the prominent voice calling for amnesty and negotiations with the Terrorists. Maybe Gumi want to tell the world that the terrorists are no longer fighting a just cause which he claimed in the past.

American intervention and tactics to escape the dangers ahead may likely be one of the reasons behind the prayer above.

In a society of zane people, where leaders are really for the service delivery of all and sundry, Dr Gumi would have been picked and stopped from endangering the innocent citizens further.

Boko Haram, ISWAP, bandits, Fulani herdsmen have killed thousands of defenseless citizens while the pro Terrorists Regime of APC both under the late Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari's and the incumbent Bola Ahmed Tinubu have succeeded in empowering the killers to do more until a foreign voice from far away American President Donald Trump called for accountability.

There is God that answers prayers. Say AMEN to Gumi's Prayers.

Troops of the Nigerian Army have successfully thwarted a planned midnight attack on Chibok communities in Borno State and another development successfully rescued 12 teenage girls abducted by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Mussa District of Askira/Uba Local Government Area, Borno State. The victims, aged between 15 and 20, were kidnapped on 23 November while harvesting crops on their family farmlands and were freed on Saturday, 29 November, following a swift, intelligence-led operation by troops of Operation HADIN KAI in the southern Borno axis, the Nigerian Army said.

The troops, who were on alert, detected early enemy movement, enabling them to quickly assume battle positions and engage the terrorists from multiple fronts. The fierce firefight lasted for over two hours, during which the gallant soldiers held their ground firmly and prevented the terrorists from breaching the security of the adjoining towns.

The terrorists, on observing the break of day, started a disorderly withdrawal towards the Azir axis into the Sambisa Forest, attempting to cross the Main Supply Route Damboa–Biu. In response, 25 Brigade was tasked to occupy pre-designated ambush positions ahead of Azir Bridge to cut off and neutralize the fleeing terrorists, with guidance provided by a Nigerian Army Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.

The Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI deployed a Super Tucano aircraft and as the advancing interdiction forces closed in, the terrorists dispersed. Troops subsequently disrupted their withdrawal. No personnel or equipment was lost, underscoring the high level of combat readiness, professionalism and resilience displayed by the forces involved.

The rescued girls have been evacuated to a secure military facility where they are receiving comprehensive medical care, psychological support and debriefing. Donald Trump's Effect: Tinubu declares a nationwide security emergency, Orders 50000 Recruitment Into The Army and Police

Tinubu

Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has on Wednesday declared a nationwide security emergency in response to the worsening security situation across several states, orders the Army and Police to recruit 20,000 officers in addition to the earlier 30,000 approved (total now 50,000 officers).

This recent proactive steps cannot be unconnected to the stance of the American President, Donald Trump against the ongoing Christian genocide and ethnic cleansing in Nigeria.

APC government that came on board since 2015 on the campaign promises to end the insurgency and hunger has been the enablers of Terrorism, banditry and Fulani herdsmen causing unrest in different parts of the country.

The military and other paramilitary have been infiltrated as their so called repentant Terrorists were reportedly enlisted and absorb by the APC led federal government.  As a result, more evils have been perpetrated against the helpless citizens of the country.

Tinubu also directed that NYSC camps across the country be used as police training depots, while VIP police guards withdrawn are to be trained for redeployment to high-risk areas.

With the nationwide security emergency, Tinubu has also directed the DSS to deploy forest guards immediately and recruit more to flush out terrorists and bandits. He also promised to support states creating security outfits and calls on the National Assembly to begin work on state police.

He called on herders to end open grazing, embrace ranching, and surrender illegal weapons, while paying tribute to victims of recent attacks and fallen soldiers, including Brig-Gen Musa Uba.

The emergency of APC leadership in the country since 2015 till date has been a monumental mistake that made all and sundry to suffer in the past ten years of maladministration.

The Boko Haram/ISWAP, bandits and Fulani herdsmen terrorising the country from the North to South are all foot soldiers of the criminals All Progressive Party.. Thousands have been killed. Several thousands displaced.

Genocide In Nigeria: U.S. Will Cut All Taxpayer Funding To Nigeria Says President Trump

The President of the United State Donald Trump had said the country will cut off all taxpayers funding for a Terrorists enabling government of Nigeria where Christian Genocide is currently ongoing.

Nigeria government has done nothing to stop the killings by Boko Haram, ISWAP, bandits, Fulani herdsmen and kidnappers. Thousands have been killed in the country. In Plateau, Borno, Kaduna, Zamfara, Nasarawa, Kastina, Yobe, Benue states. Attacks of the Terrorists have escalated even into southern party in Ondo State where Christians where massacred in a church in Owo. In Igangan, Oyo State where a whole town was ransacked by the armed bandits and Fulani herdsmen.

Kwara State is currently be raiding by the Terrorists. Nigeria's government have totally looked other ways since APC pro Terrorists Regime took over since 2015 till date.

Trump said: “Nigeria’s a disgrace… they’re killing people by the thousands. It’s a genocide, and I’m REALLY angry about it!” He says the Nigerian government has done nothing to stop the slaughter:

“They are very ineffective. They’re killing Christians AT WILL.”

We stand ready to work cooperatively with the Nigerians to help their nation combat the terrorism perpetrated by Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani militants against their population, specifically Christians in the Northeast and Middle Belt regions of Nigeria. The Nigerian government has the chance to strengthen and deepen its relationship with the United States. I urge the Nigerians to work with us in cooperation and coordination on this critical issue.”

Military authorities have not yet issued a statement on the incident, and details of casualty figures remain unclear.

The spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, Onyechi Anele, a lieutenant colonel, has not responded to an enquiry sent to her about the matter.

Following the American planned intervention against the terrorists groups that have killed thousands of innocent citizens, the Nigerian army renewed it's onslaught against the insurgents which may have warrant the ambush against the military Convoy in Borno State, the epicenter of Boko Haram insurgency.

Christian Genocide: Islamic Jihadists wants to take over this country and force us to be like Turkey – Rev. Dachomo

Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo has boldly described the Islamists terrorism in the Northern part of the country as a dangerous movement threatening the unity and peace of Nigeria.

Dachomo alleged that a “Northern Jihadist evil satanic agenda” was working systematically to dominate the country and transform it into a state influenced by extremist ideologies. “I said it confidently, Northern Jihadists’ evil satanic agenda wants to take over this country and lure us to be like Turkey,” he declared, emphasizing his conviction that the plan was deliberate and coordinated.

Reverend Ezekiel said the agenda was not hidden but had been unfolding gradually through political, religious, and social manipulation.

He explained that the strategy involved penetrating national institutions and influencing policies to align with extremist interests. He said the reference to Turkey was symbolic of what happens when a once pluralistic society succumbs to authoritarian and religious extremism.

“Look at what Turkey was and what it has become,” he said, pointing to what he described as the gradual erosion of democracy and religious tolerance. The cleric stressed that Nigeria must learn from history rather than repeat it.

Reverend Ezekiel further claimed that the movement sought not only political power but also spiritual domination. He said it was an attempt to “reshape the soul of the nation” through fear and violence, turning communities against one another in the name of religion. “This is beyond politics,” he noted, describing it as a battle for the very conscience of Nigeria.

He explained that such extremist forces often exploit poverty, unemployment, and ignorance to recruit followers, especially among young people.

According to him, these recruits are then used as instruments to destabilize communities and advance a broader religious agenda. “They are misled to believe they are fighting for faith, but in reality, they are being used for evil,” he said.

Reverend Ezekiel lamented that successive governments had underestimated the ideological nature of the threat. He said military interventions and negotiations would not end the crisis unless the underlying belief system driving it was confronted head-on. “You cannot defeat an ideology with bullets alone,” he warned.

He urged Nigerians, particularly the Christian community, to wake up to the danger of complacency. He said many people dismiss warnings like his as exaggerated until the violence reaches their doorstep. “When we speak, they say we are being dramatic,” he stated, “but every day we are losing more villages, more lives, and more faith in our government.”

According to him, the silence of national leaders on repeated attacks across Christian communities gives room for suspicion that the agenda is being tolerated. He called on religious and civic groups to unite in resistance against what he described as a creeping form of jihadism. “We cannot fold our hands and watch our nation be overrun,” he said firmly.

He said that his statement was not born out of hate or division but out of truth and concern for Nigeria’s survival. He said unity could only exist when justice, equality, and mutual respect were guaranteed for all. “Peace without truth is false peace,” Reverend Ezekiel asserted, maintaining that acknowledging the threat was the first step to overcoming it.

There's Genocide In Borno State, Boko Haram/ISWAP Reduces 176 Churches to 28, says Gwoza Christian Community Association

There's Genocide In Borno State, Boko Haram/ISWAP Reduces 176 Churches to 28, says Gwoza Christian Community Association

Against the Nigerian Government denials of any genocide in the country, the Gwoza Christian Community Association in Borno Borno State has insisted that there is an ongoing genocide being perpetrated against them by Boko Haram/ ISWAP terrorists

The community Christian association, in a statement jointly signed by Rev. Ayuba John Bassa and Rev. Filibus K. Goma, national coordinator and chairman of the Board of Trustees respectively, said they had documentary evidence to back their claims.

According to the statement, association said: "When a Senator recently told Channels TV that there is no persecution or genocide against Christians in Borno — particularly in Gwoza — he denied the lived reality of thousands of people he does not know. We are indigenous Christians of Gwoza Local Government Area. What follows is not hearsay or political rhetoric; it is our testimony — a painful record of loss, displacement and erasure.

"Gwoza once had a thriving Christian presence. Before the insurgency, there were more than 176 large church buildings across the local government. Today, 148 of those churches were burnt and lie in ruins. Entire Christian neighbourhoods in Gwoza East and West were flattened; in many places, every Christian home was destroyed."

Reeling out other documented facts, the association further argued, "The human toll and destruction are detailed and specific. In Gava-West alone, 74 towns and villages were sacked, 36,946 families were dispersed, 99 churches were destroyed, and 292 people were killed in September 2013. In Attagara, 13 churches were destroyed, 1,738 families displaced and 140 Christians killed by 3 June 2014. By 9 August 2014, 2,203 Christian houses and 28 churches were destroyed, and 102 Christians — including three pastors — were killed in Gwoza town, Kamba and Ghraza. The total pastors killed by insurgents in Gwoza local government was 12. In other Christian towns within Gwoza, such as Ngoshe, Bokko, Pulka, Limankara, Ngoshe-sama, Barawa and Gava-North, both the loss of life and the physical destruction exceeded local expectations."

It also said that the human cost is staggering . About 107,000 Gwoza Christians are scattered in 27 internally displaced persons camps across seven Nigerian states and in the Minawao refugee camp in Cameroon, while almost 50,000 are squatting with relatives in towns and cities across Nigeria.

The association argued that this pattern — the destruction of churches, removal of Christian families, and official silence or inaction — raises an unavoidable question: Is there a systematic attempt to erase Christians and their heritage from Gwoza?

Concluding, it blamed the leadership of Christians for being too silent and compromised, while it appealed for thorough investigation to ascertain their outcry:

"We plead for truth, accountability and action. To CAN and all Christian bodies: your people are suffering. Will you continue to stand silent? Will you trade the lives and dignity of the displaced for political appointments or other gains?

"To the Nigerian government: fulfil your constitutional duty to protect every citizen irrespective of faith. Conduct independent investigations, prosecute those responsible for targeted attacks, ensure equitable reconstruction and restore the right of displaced Christians to return home with dignity and security.

"To Christians and people of conscience worldwide: pray, speak, advocate and act. Survivors in camps and ruined communities in Gwoza need more than sympathy — they need sustained attention, protection and a pathway to rebuild their lives and heritage.

"This is our testimony as indigenous Christians from Gwoza. The blood and ruins cry out for justice. We have endured atrocities for too long, hoping things would change. They have not. The time for denial and silence is over. Please talk about it until the world knows."

US Planned intervention Against Terrorism In Nigeria, Commendable _ LP

US Planned intervention Against Terrorism In Nigeria, Commendable _ LP

STATEMENT ON US PRESIDENT TRUMP'S INTENSION TO INTERVENE AGAINST KILLING OF CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA

Eleven years ago, before Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu railroaded the Nigerian system to declare him President over us, Tinubu wrote these exact words on his official Twitter handle, now X, of January 19, 2014: "The slaughtering of Christian worshippers is strongly condemnable. It calls to question the competence of Jonathan to protect Nigerians."

At the time Tinubu made that statement in January of 2014, authoritative data provides that 11,000 Christians in Nigeria were killed by Islamists during a four-year period of the PDP's rule from 2009 to 2014. This genocide figure was by Boko Haram alone. Then another dimension of Christian massacres began from 2010 when Jihad extremists masquerading as Fulani herdsmen murdered another 6,500 Christians in another four-year period between 2010 and 2015. This was just before the Buhari and Tinubu APC merger successfully took over the federal government of Nigeria.

In comparison, with Nigeria under his watch as President and under just two years of Tinubu's administration between 2023 and 2025, the number of Christians massacred by Islamic extremists skyrocketed to 14,122, an almost 100% casualty increase in time ratio compared to the PDP years.

Nigerians will recall that In order to rid the PDP and Jonathan government by portraying that administration as incompetent before Nigerians and the globe, especially in the security front, and to justify take over federal power, the same Tinubu and late former President Muhammadu Buhari led a high-powered delegation of their APC merger stalwarts to the United States to meet then US Secretary of State, Mr. John Kerry. This was on January 25, 2015.

The mission was to drive home the point that insecurity in Nigeria was intolerable and they needed the support of the US government to help stop the genocide in Nigeria by getting rid of the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

It is therefore terribly wicked, godless and extremely unpatriotic of Bola Tinubu, now as President, to deny that there are no targeted Christian massacres in Nigeria. It is the height of shameless selfishness, betrayal of the Nigeria constitution and treason for either him, any regime agent or agency speaking for the administration to deny that there are no Christian massacres in Nigeria. This is especially considering that the figure of victims that made Tinubu and Buhari to lead a protest delegation to the United States in 2015 has now doubled under Tinubu's administration.

This is why, in the view of the Labour Party, we consider the offer of President Donald Trump to help Nigerians out of our security calamity under the current Tinubu-APC administration is godsent, timely and highly commendable.

The Labour Party therefore wishes to express heartfelt commendations on behalf of Nigerians to President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Sen. Ted Cruz, the United States Secretary of War Peter Hegseth, ex-Mayor Mike Arnold and other Americans for the immense work of research, evaluation and conviction they have demonstrated in their intervention initiative.

In their planned interventions, the Labour Party also wishes to entreat the US government to extend protection and sustainable security cover to liberal and moderate Muslim communities whose members are also targeted and in some occasions killed because of their sympathy or support for their Christian neighbours who are under the yoke of Islamic extremists' massacre, livelihood deprivations through violent farmland dispossession and displacements across many parts of Northern Nigeria and the Middle Belt states of our country.

The Labour Party hereby also commends several Nigeria Muslim voices who have demonstrated remarkable patriotism in supporting the Donald Trump initiative to help protect their Nigerian Christian brethren, terror sacked communities and their livelihood for collective peace and progress. They have shown by their novel spirit of mutual humanity that one united Nigeria, irrespective of religion and political differences, is truly possible, if we have good leaders in place.

It is this kind of pan-Nigeria spirit and undiscriminating interfaith harmony Nigeria urgently needs today to overcome and put behind us the terrorist catastrophés that has been covertly promoted by Nigeria's successive governments since 2009 and which has come to a devastating climax in President Bola Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim regime.

Finally, we wish to heartily salute US music icon, Miss Nicki Minaj, for using her global youths and Gen-Z platform to draw attention to the genocide, unimaginable IDP homeland displacement crises and despair of millions of Northern Nigeria citizens who, though mostly Christians, have admixture of

collateral Muslim victims among them.

The Labour Party wishes to implore other famous artistes, sportsmen, movie stars, writers and philanthropic industrialists all over the globe to emulate Miss Minaj's sterling humanitarian heart, practical compassion and example. This is in the hope that their collective voice, oncoming global solidarity mobilization and sequel humanitarian concerts for millions of Nigeria's IDPs will spur President Tinubu, his administration's National Security Adviser, Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, and the government's Minister of Defence, Mr. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, and Minister of State for Defence, Mr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, to abolish their despicable, complicit long standing policy of pacifying these soulless mass murderers with billions of Nigerians' taxpayers money.

The above disgraceful policy, to borrow President Trump's word, involves officials and military brass of the Tinubu federal government regularly sitting with fully armed terrorists, ransom kidnapping bandits and rapists, including attending the marriage of children of these mass murderers in their forest lairs. A terrorist engagement policy unheard-of anywhere in the world.

CPC: How Tinubu Landed Nigeria In Trump's Bad Book - SKC Ogbonnia

CPC: How Tinubu Landed Nigeria In Trump's Bad Book - SKC Ogbonnia

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has threatened military action against Nigeria over an alleged Christian genocide in the African country. This followed his designation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC). Instead of exploring meaningful solutions, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is busy playing politics with a situation he helped to inflame.

The perception of Christian genocide under the various regimes of the All Progressive Congress (APC) is not new. The campaign for global attention began when President Muhammadu Buhari appeared to be indifferent to the problem. It quickly took a deep root because of Buhari’s background–a military dictator of obstinate religious bigotry.

Various Nigerian clergymen and Christian groups alerted the global community of the alleged genocide during the Buhari democratic regime. Ordinary citizens were not left behind. The loudest echo chambers of the campaign were prominent image makers of President Tinubu in Reno Omokri and Femi Fani-Kayode. The duo traveled far and wide, using every social media platform to sensationalize the hostility. They in turn derided the Buhari regime as well as the APC as harboring a dangerous Islamic hidden agenda. In one instance, Omokri labeled the ruling party as “anti-Christ.” That quickly stuck!

More importantly, the voices of innocent Nigerians in America, most of whom are Christians, and most of whom decried the pattern of the injustice in their homeland, reluctantly aligned and validated the persecution claim. The U.S.Department of State finally acted by designating Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern for the first time in December 2020.

After a critical review, Trump’s successor, President Joseph Biden lifted the CPC designation in 2021, amid a torrent of criticisms from both the United States and Nigeria. But America remained on the alert, eagerly waiting for an alarm for any iota of further violations.

Enter Tinubu and the second coming of Trump. The emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s president worsened matters and is squarely responsible for why Africa's most populous country is not only designated as a CPC again but also heightened the threat for military action by the United States of America.

Let us begin with Tinubu’s background. Everything about the Nigerian president is everything the Americans resent in foreign leaders. Too many controversies–from his identity, drug trafficking, academic records, and source of his huge wealth. This baggage does not evince trust, especially for a man leading a party heavily lampooned as “anti-Christ.” The totality of this background accounts for why Trump has continued to distance himself from Tinubu.

The next pointer is Muslim-Muslim Presidential Ticket: Upon winning the nomination of his party, Tinubu shocked the world by electing to nominate a vice-president who shares the same Muslim faith with him. What fuels the ire of the Americans is that, despite leading a political party that is alleged to have a vicious Muslim agenda, Tinubu blatantly broke from the prevailing convention that had created a sense of religious tolerance in the country.

Very alarming is that it did not take long before Nigerians started observing probable signs of Christian genocide in the country under Tinubu. Incidents and statistics abound. But a wake-up call was the first Christmas period after Tinubu took office in 2023 which witnessed a series of coordinated attacks in Plateau State. The suspects were Muslim militants who killed at least 300 people who happened to be Christians, wounded about 300, and displaced over 30,000 residents across 21 villages. The following Easter period in 2024 showed a similar pattern with major attacks documented in Plateau and Benue States.

A comprehensive report from Open Doors International, a watchdog for Christian genocide around the world, analysed the issue of religious extremism from 2023 to 2025 and suggests that Nigeria remains one of the most unsafe places in the world for Christians. Another report by the World Watch List 2025 indicated that Nigeria accounted for a majority of Christian deaths in the world from a period covering October 2023 to September 2024, noting that 3,100 of the 4,476 global Christian deaths (about 70%) took place in that African country. Even this June 2025, Pope Leo XIV condemned an “unceasingly” attack on Christians in Nigeria.

The incidents and reports above are just to name a few and took place under Tinubu’s watch. But, like Buhari, he chose to do nothing, thinking that it was business as usual. The apparent stoic silence sent a wrong signal, suggesting acquiescence to the quandary.

Commonly ignored but very consequential is that, even if genocide against the Christians is in contention, the persecution of the people of Southeast Nigeria under Tinubu is profoundly evident. This zone, by the way, represents a majority of Igbo people and also the highest concentration of Christian population in the country. Of course, the history of ill-treatment towards the Igbo is a common knowledge and did not start under Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but it has heightened since he assumed office.

Some have argued that the Christians might have not been specifically targeted, which is arguably fair. Yet, the simple truth is that a majority of the population in the areas so cited are of the Christian faith. Moreover, while there are many incidents of mass killings of Christians by Jihadist extremists who hide under the name of Islam to perpetrate heinous crimes, one can hardly point to a case where Christians are slaughtering Muslims in Nigeria to propagate Christianity. Further, coordinated violence against the Muslims, if any, either by default or by design has not been pushed to receive the degree of global attention as the Christian victims. Either way, the acts of genocide in Nigeria–whether targeted or not– are indisputable and it remains the responsibility of the state to decimate the perpetrators.

Many have offered different opinions on how to get around the CPC palaver. The most laughable, however, is Tinubu's plan to jet to Washington and meet with Trump’s deputy, JD Vance in an attempt to reject the CPC label. But such a trip is a mere propaganda envisaged to satiate the thirsty sentiment of being seen as a statesman in the iconic U.S. White House. The solution is at home. And the Nigerian medium for diplomacy has grown beyond the analog assemblage of the Aso Rock think thank!

The point, if it is not already manifest, is that the days are gone when the Nigerian Government can preach justice abroad, while promoting injustice at home. The inconvenient truth is that Nigeria now boasts of hundreds of thousands of independent ambassadors, strategically entrenched in all the nooks and crannies of the world. Nigerians in America on their part maintain a strong presence in both the American private and public sectors, including the CIA, FBI, the Congress, the White House, Judiciary, and the American Armed Forces.

These Nigerian Americans are also entrenched in the U.S. political stream and accordingly have the ears of the American leaders, including President Trump. Interestingly, a vast majority of them are Christians who hail from different tribes of Nigeria and have emerged as the Biblical Josephs of sorts. Not surprisingly, as they go, so goes the national image and much more. And Donald Trump is keenly aware that their reluctance to relocate back to Nigeria after gaining good education is not because of lack of love for their native country but because of bad governance in their homeland. He is aware that a good chunk of the funds budgeted for anti-Islamic terrorism in Nigeria, including financial assistance by the United States, is stolen by public officials.

The fact of the matter is that the United States of America knows Tinubu more than he knows himself. Therefore, instead of the mundane attempts to teleguide America with daily doses of falsehoods, President Tinubu should focus on confronting the problems head-on. We need results, no more excuses!!

U.S. Military Invasion Reports: Neighbouring Country Chad Closes Border With Nigeria Over Security Concerns

Chad has announced the immediate closure of its border with Nigeria, citing security concerns following reports of alleged U.S. military plans in Nigeria.

Report stated that the directive was issued by Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, who ordered a complete military lockdown along the Nigerian border after intelligence suggested that terr+rist elements from northern Nigeria were preparing to flee into Chadian territory.

According to report, Military sources in N’Djamena confirmed that the Chadian army has been placed on full alert, with troops and armoured vehicles deployed across key border corridors linking the two countries.

President Déby was quoted as saying that “no armed group or foreign force will be allowed to enter Chadian soil under any disguise.”

The move comes amid heightened regional tension and growing speculation over America’s alleged military activities in parts of West Africa.

Security analysts, said the closure was a preventive measure aimed at safeguarding Chadian sovereignty and preventing possible infiltration by armed groups exploiting regional instability.

Why Nigerian authorities must do more in their fight against terrorists, bandits and kidnappers, it should be noted that America and NATO allies trained most of the terrorists troubling the region and provided them with weapons. Certainly, US is looking for a country rich in oil reserves to occupy in the name of whatever operation, if Venezuela isn't visible for a military occupations, Nigeria should.

Nigeria government may actually lack the support of the majority of the citizens if US should attack going by the style of APC administration policies since 2015 that has been anti people, insecurity, herdsmen, banditry and kidnapping for ransoms in one hand and lack of free, fair and credible elections and modulation and destruction of opposition political parties as the country on the verge of one party system on the other hand as people's hope of getting out of bad economy maybe that the APC government come to an end by any means necessary.

The desires of many Nigerians is for the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu led APC federal government to made public, the financials and sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria, made them to face justice. Such Sharia law the justified the killings of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto State and declared the killers acquainted is questionable must be reviewed.

Condemning US president Donald Trump for the American planned intervention maybe very good and sound patriotic but it doesn't answer one major question everyone is avoiding.

The Nigerian army that fought for just two and a half years to defeat Biafra in a war that did not end until every last centre metre of the Soutb East was reclaimed back in Nigerian hands. So why has the same strong sub regional army tamely surrendered an area four times the size of Biafra to insurgents in the last 15 years. How can you oppose foreign intervention on the grounds of sovereignty in  land you have surrendered the same sovereignty for more than a decade..?

The Dangerous Cycle Of Impunity: How Nigeria’s Leaders Are Nurturing A Culture Of Impunity

The Dangerous Cycle Of Impunity: How Nigeria’s Leaders Are Nurturing A Culture Of Impunity

By Buhari Olanrewaju Ahmed

As President Tinubu continues to set troubling precedents by granting pardons to individuals accused or convicted of serious crimes such as murder and drug trafficking, a dangerous message is being sent to the nation. By normalising impunity at the highest levels, Nigeria risks creating a political environment where those with questionable pasts may one day rise to positions of power and leadership.

When convicted criminals are absolved of their wrongdoing through political influence, it erodes public trust in the justice system and undermines the rule of law.

It is deeply disheartening and regrettable that Nigeria has reached a point where justice appears selective—where some individuals, despite being found guilty of heinous crimes, are freed due to their political connections, while others, like Nnamdi Kanu, remain detained despite court rulings declaring them not guilty.

Such double standards expose the deep moral and institutional decay within the system and raise serious questions about fairness, accountability, and equality before the law.

The government’s approach to negotiating with terrorists, rehabilitating them, and reintegrating them into society—despite the destruction, kidnappings, and killings they have caused—further worsens the situation. It sends a demoralising signal to victims and law-abiding citizens that crime pays, while lawful dissent or peaceful activism is treated as treason.

A government that pardons murderers and drug traffickers while keeping political prisoners behind bars cannot genuinely claim to be committed to justice or national security.

This reality calls for sober reflection. Citizens must understand that leadership choices have far-reaching consequences. Electing individuals without integrity, compassion, or a sense of justice ultimately leads to moral collapse and national instability. When those in power disregard the sanctity of human life and the principles of justice, they weaken the very foundation of governance.

My advice is that no one should ever be unjustly killed, harmed, or condemned under such a system. The same government that pardons killers and drug lords today could one day protect the very people responsible for violence and suffering tomorrow.

This is a grim reminder of what happens when voters choose leaders based on propaganda, ethnic sentiment, or personal gain rather than character and competence.

Only divine intervention can rescue Nigeria from the calamities that lie ahead if the nation continues on this dangerous path of rewarding crime and punishing truth.

Tinubu granted sweeping clemency and posthumous pardons to a total of 147 convicts, inmates and deceased Nigerians, including Maryam Sanda, Ken Saro-Wiwa, Sir Herbert Macaulay, Major General Mamman Vatsa, Professor Magaji Garba, and dozens of illegal miners, drug convicts, and white-collar offenders.

APC government since its inception in 2015 has been a terrorist and criminal friendly government .

APC Government Owned the Terrorists: Nigerian Troops Rescue More Kidnapped Victims, Continue Onslaught Against Bandits in Kwara State

APC Government Owned the Terrorists: Nigerian Troops Rescue More Kidnapped Victims, Continue Onslaught Against Bandits in Kwara State

The Nigerian Army has said it's Troops of 2 Division/Sector 3, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have sustained aggressive operations against bandits in Kwara State, leading to the successful rescue of three kidnapped victims at different locations within the Babanla Forest on Saturday, 11 October 2025.

According to the statement made available to the general public, acting on credible intelligence, troops deployed at the Patrol Base Babanla swiftly mobilised to a suspected bandit hideout and rescued Mrs Oluwabusayo Taiwo, aged 25, and her 3 years old son, Taiwo Irayomide, who were among the victims abducted at Oke-Ode on 28 September 2025.

The rescued victims are currently receiving first aid treatment at the Patrol Base sick bay and will be reunited with their family members in due course.

Also the troops while on routine patrol along a suspected bandit route, also rescued Mr Mohammadu Sani, known as Mai Shayi,* a 40 years old local tea seller from Garkarima. The bandits fled upon sighting the patrol team, abandoning the victim, who was found in a pool of blood. Troops recovered one dane gun and a cutlass from the scene. The victim is currently receiving medical attention at the Patrol Base sick bay.

The Commander, 22 Armoured Brigade, Brigadier General Ezra Barkins, commended the troops for their swift response and professionalism, while reaffirming that the Nigerian Army will remain committed towards ensuring the safety and security of all citizens and will continue to intensify operations aimed at restoring peace and stability across Kwara State and its environs

It is on records that insecurities in Nigeria have been aggravated since enthronement of APC leadership in 2015. Beyond Boko Haram terrorism, the country has graduated to multiple non state actors terrorism by bandits , kidnapping for ransoms and Fulani herdsmen killing the defenseless and helpless citizens while the Tinubu led APC gangs keeps imposing taxes, devalued national currency, reduced the purchasing power of the people and keeps the country permanently as the global capital of poverty. The government has also crippled the opposition political parties in the country and silence critics

KWARA SOUTH IS  BLEEDING

Profile picture

APC government came to Power in the year 2015 with empty rhetorics to fight and end Boko Haram terrorism but the party only succeeded in intriduciynore terrorists groups such as the Fulani herdsmen, bandits, megsl kidnapping for ransom and the current group unleashing terrors in the North Central of the country.

APC government has failed in the primary responsibilities of governance, protection of lives and properties but Tinubu led APC gangs only knows how to collect taxes, reduced the purchasing power of the citizens, sharing abject poverty for greater numbers of people.

It is the constitutional duty of the President to protect lives and property — not to multiply taxes while citizens are fleeing their hometowns.

You cannot build national prosperity on insecurity.

When people abandon their homes, farmlands, and local economies out of fear, the foundation of governance collapses.

Security is not just a moral duty — it is the economic backbone of every stable nation.

How do you tax a farmer who can’t access his land?

How do you expect productivity from a citizen who sleeps in fear?

Every displaced family represents a shrinking economy — a town losing its workforce, a market losing its buyers, and a government losing its legitimacy.

Yet in this country, the death of Nigerians has become just another statistic — names reduced to numbers, headlines recycled like weather reports.

We mourn for a day, move on by tomorrow, and the government calls it “progress.”

Leadership without security is taxation without humanity.

While the government focuses on new levies and economic jargon, the real economy — the people — is dying in silence.

And those joining this administration to tell us it’s making progress are the worst kind of humans —

soulless defenders of failure.

They are like the Uruk-hai from The Lord of the Rings — bred for destruction, loyal only to evil, and blind to the ruin they serve.

To worsen it, they travel across the world gaslighting citizens —

telling the international community that there is no corruption back home,

while the nation they left behind bleeds from the wounds of theft, lies, and silence.

And the saddest part?

Many of you think you’re supporting your party while all this evil is taking place.

You defend the same system that is destroying your future,

clap for oppressors who wouldn’t spend a second living your reality,

and mock those who still dare to speak.

You cannot measure GDP when the ground itself is unsafe.

Until lives are protected, every new tax is blood money collected from the displaced and forgotten.

A serious government protects first, reforms next, and taxes last.

But in today’s Nigeria, the order is reversed — we are being taxed for a nation we can no longer live in.

Armed bandits were reportedly on Rampage in renewed wave of attacks across Kwara’s riverine and forested communities, many of which have faced repeated kidnappings and killings in recent months.

According to the reports on Thursday, Bandits again struck Edu Local Government Area in Kwara State, killing one person and abducting another during an early-morning raid in Gbale community. Different eyewitnesses accounts confirmed that the attackers arrived around 2:00 a.m. but were met with fierce resistance from local hunters and vigilantes, who engaged them with superior firepower.

Overwhelmed, the gunmen retreated toward Bishewa settlement. In Bishewa, the assailants launched another assault, killing one of two stepbrothers in their home and abducting the other.

“They killed Ndako, the elder brother, and took the younger one, Audu, away,” a source told reporters.

The renewed wave of attacks has escalated tension across Kwara’s riverine and forested communities, many of which have faced repeated kidnappings and killings in recent months.

In response, the Nigerian Army has reportedly deployed a full brigade and heavy equipment to Kwara South and parts of Kwara North to flush out bandits from forest hideouts.

According to Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, troops were observed advancing through Oke Ode and Babanla in Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The operation, conducted under Operation Fasan Yanma, also covers the Edu and Patigi councils, where soldiers are combing dense forests frequently used by kidnappers for ransom activities
