US - Israel - Iran War: Trump May Declare Ceasefire Soon, Islamic Republic of Iran will not surrender, attacks , War continue says Supreme Leader

Until we ensure there will be no more attacks in our land in the future, the war will continue, Iranian President Tells Macron

Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei rejected proposals sent to Iran’s foreign ministry by intermediaries, telling a foreign policy meeting, “It is not the time for peace,”.

There are indications that American President Donald Trump May may unilaterally go ahead to declare Ceasefire at any moment from now in the ongoing war against Iran.

Also, Iran has rejected Trump's ceasefire request and intends to seek revenge against the United States, according to Reuters.

Tehran received a ceasefire proposal through two intermediaries, but new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei rejected it, the agency reports.

Khamenei's position on revenge against the United States and Israel at the first meeting was "very tough and serious," a Reuters source emphasized.

Trump, meanwhile, has publicly stated several times that he allegedly doesn't want a "deal" because it isn't good enough. "Now is not the time for peace. US and Israel must be defeated."

The empire thought killing the father would break the son. It didn't.

No ceasefire. No surrender. No submission.

The US wants an exit. Iran wants victory.

The war continues. On Iran's terms.

Iran confirms Ali Karijani's Elimination by Israel

As Israeli forces also continue to carry out attacks on Terhan, an Iranian official sent a very short message to an @iranwire reporter who asked about Larijani's death: It is true...

While the Israeli leaders confirmed the elimination of the Iranian top man, the government of Iran hasn't announced it yet. But, if true, it's the start of the most chaotic phase of post-Khamenei Iran. The regime has lost one of the most influential and ruthlessly efficient insiders.

On the need and reason for the war to continue, Iran president was on phone call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron as United States President Donald Trump was obviously ready to end the war with Tehran.

Iranian President wrote on his official X handle: In my conversation with the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, I emphasized that Iran did not begin this atrocious war. Defending against invasion is a natural right, in which we are good at.

Using the American bases against Iran in the region, with the purpose of disturbing our relations with our neighbors, should be stopped.

Peace and stability in the region, cannot be achieved while disregarding the Zionist-American invasion in our country. The Islamic Republic of Iran will not surrender to bullies.

We expect the global community to condemn this invasion and convince invaders to respect international laws.

Commencing a war in order to conquest, based on false information, is a medieval act in 21st century

Speaking of ending the war, is meaningless, until we ensure there will be no more attacks in our land in the future.

Iranian State Media: US, Israeli Forces copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone, carried out false-flag attacks on regional targets to spread doubt, falsely blame Iran, and create division with neighboring countries

Iranian State Media: US, Israeli Forces copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone, carried out false-flag attacks on regional targets to spread doubt, falsely blame Iran, and create division with neighboring countries

Iranian Military authorities have said the US and Israeli Force have copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone, carried out false-flag attacks on regional targets to spread doubt, falsely blame Iran, and create division with neighboring countries

According to Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, a message to neighboring countries and Muslim populations states:

The United States and Israel, militarily and politically defeated against Iran, have resorted to deception.

They allegedly copied Iran’s Shahed-136 drone and carried out false-flag attacks on regional targets to spread doubt, falsely blame Iran, and create division with neighboring countries.

Iranian authorities emphasize that their defensive doctrine is legal and rational, targeting only U.S. and Israeli interests, with official statements issued for any strike.

Recent malicious attacks falsely attributed to Iran occurred in friendly neighboring countries such as:

Turkey

Kuwait

Iraq

Iranian officials call on governments and populations to avoid being deceived by divisive provocations and to maintain unity and cooperation to force foreign aggressors to desist.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi has insisted that the Strait of Hormuz is open to all ships except US and Israeli ones, and said there is "nothing wrong" with the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Irani President Announces that region will experience safety, United States must evacuate from the region.

If you want the region to be safe then the American forces have to leave the GCC otherwise get ready for your destruction at our hands.

And Trump said he has won the war ? Delusional orange monkey.

Iran is just starting and my friend Doctor Pezeshkian has made it clear for you.

Iran Confirmed US Attacks on Kharg Island

Iran Confirmed US Attacks on Kharg Island

Iranian media reported on Saturday that Kharg Island was targeted by airstrikes earlier on Friday. Field sources said more than 15 explosions were heard across the island, with thick smoke rising from several locations.

Sources added that despite the intensity of the blasts, none of the island’s oil infrastructure was damaged. No further details about possible casualties or other damage have been released.

Confirming the attacks, American President Donald J. Trump in a social media post stated: "Moments ago, at my direction, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island... Iran has NO ability to defend anything that we want to attack — There is nothing they can do about it!"

Trump announced that the United States military carried out what he described as the most powerful bombing raids in the history of the Middle East, claiming that American forces “totally obliterated every military target” on Iran’s crown jewel—Kharg Island.

He declared that the military “totally OBLITERATED every MILITARY target” on the island and emphasized that U.S. weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated ever developed. At the same time, he claimed he deliberately chose not to destroy the oil infrastructure on the island “for reasons of decency.”

He issued a stark warning: if Iran interferes with shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, the United States would reconsider that restraint.

Why Kharg Island Is the Crown Jewel

But Kharg Island is not just another patch of territory. It is one of the most critical nodes in the global energy system and the beating heart of Iran’s oil export economy.

The island sits in the northern part of the Persian Gulf and serves as Iran’s primary oil export terminal. For decades it has functioned as the main gateway through which Iranian crude reaches the world market.

At times, over 90 percent of Iran’s oil exports pass through Kharg Island. Massive storage tanks, loading terminals, and pipelines connect the island directly to oil fields deep inside Iran. Offshore, supertankers line up to load millions of barrels destined for markets across Asia and beyond.

Strike Kharg Island and you are not just hitting a military target.

You are threatening the economic artery that fuels the Iranian state.

The Strait of Hormuz — The World’s Energy Chokepoint

Trump’s warning also highlights the second layer of the confrontation: the Strait of Hormuz.

Roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply flows through this narrow waterway between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula. Any disruption—mines, missile strikes, drone attacks, or shipping blockades—would immediately ripple across global markets.

Oil prices would surge. Shipping insurance would skyrocket. Economies far from the Middle East would feel the shock within days.

That is why Kharg Island sits at the intersection of military power and global energy security.

The Oil Infrastructure Trump Did Not Strike

By declaring that the United States chose not to destroy the oil infrastructure on Kharg Island, Trump effectively revealed the ultimate pressure point.

The storage tanks, export terminals, and loading platforms remain intact—for now.

Those facilities represent an economic switch. Destroy them, and Iran’s oil exports collapse overnight. Leave them standing, and they remain a lever of geopolitical pressure.

The Economic Consequence of Destroying Kharg

Trump also understands the danger of going further.

Destroying the oil depots on Kharg Island—or attempting to seize the island—could send oil prices skyrocketing. Such a shock would not only hit Iran; it would also severely impact the U.S. economy and global markets.

Kharg Island handles roughly 80–90 percent of Iran’s oil exports, making it one of the most sensitive energy hubs on the planet.

Any attempt to occupy the island would also expose U.S. forces to Iranian missiles, drones, and naval retaliation across the Persian Gulf.

The “Forbidden Island” — A Strategic Prize for 4,000 Years

Among Iranians, Kharg Island is often called the “forbidden island.”

Its importance stretches back thousands of years. Archaeological evidence shows human settlements there more than 4,000 years ago, and multiple empires recognized its strategic value as a maritime trading post.

The island sits about 25 kilometers off the Iranian coast and is capable of loading up to ten supertankers simultaneously. Access is tightly controlled and guarded by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Two factors made it Iran’s dominant export hub:

First, pipelines could easily connect the island to the massive oil fields of southwestern Iran.

Second, its deep-water location allows the docking of the largest oil tankers—something few other Iranian ports can accommodate.

War, Destruction, and Reconstruction

Modern development of Kharg began in 1956, when oil reservoirs were built there. In the 1960s, under the Shah, the island was expanded into a major export terminal with help from the American company Amoco.

By the mid-1970s, Kharg had three major oil terminals.

After the Iranian Revolution, those assets were nationalized.

During the Iran–Iraq War, Kharg became one of the most heavily bombed targets in the region. Iraq repeatedly tried to destroy the facilities because crippling the island would have economically strangled Iran.

Much of the infrastructure was damaged or destroyed—but Iran rebuilt it after the war and fortified the island heavily.

Today it is among the most defended locations in the country.

The Global Oil Market’s Most Dangerous Pressure Point

Few oil-producing countries depend so heavily on a single export facility.

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Mexico, and Venezuela all distribute their export capacity across multiple ports.

Iran relies overwhelmingly on Kharg.

That makes the island a pressure point without a clean trigger.

Analysts warn that if Kharg were destroyed, oil prices could surge to $150 per barrel or higher, triggering inflation and economic instability worldwide.

In the weeks leading up to the conflict, satellite imagery suggested Iran anticipated the threat. Storage tanks on the island were partially emptied and exports surged to near-record levels.

The island still stands.

And whoever decides whether it is struck or spared effectively holds a lever over the price of energy—and the stability of economies—across the entire world.

The Iran's revenge against US and Israeli economic interests I the middle east region are believed to be underway.

U.S Israel Iran War: Pentagon sending USS Tripoli to Middle East, offers $10 million reward for information on top Iranian leaders

Pentagon sending USS Tripoli, a Marine Amphibious Ready Group, and the 31st MEU to the Middle East with about 2,500 U.S. Marines, a defense official confirms to newsmen. The ship is based in Japan and could arrive in 1–2 weeks.

According to an AFP report, Trump's government has offers $10 million reward for information on top Iranian leaders.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials led a pro-government rally in Tehran as explosions rocked the city on Friday, while the United States vowed it would intensify strikes in the coming hours and days. Trump said it was his "honour" to be killing the Islamic republic's leaders calling them "deranged scumbags".

The United States will be hitting Iran hard over the "over the next week", Trump told Fox News Radio.

US President Donald Trump has said in an interview with Fox News Radio that he suspected Russian leader Vladimir Putin was aiding Iran in the war against the United States and Israel.

"I think he might be helping him a little bit, yeah, I guess. And he probably thinks we're helping Ukraine, right?" Trump said in an interview that aired Friday.

Several US media outlets have reported that Russia has provided targeting information to Iran for attacking US forces during the ongoing conflict.

Electrical malfunction causes fire on the Gerald Ford carrier

Spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) HQ has said the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was targeted by the naval forces of the IRGC and has been rendered inoperable.

The carrier has left the region and is currently returning to the United States.

In another development, the United States announced an event that appears somewhat mysterious: a fire caused by an electrical malfunction on the Gerald Ford carrier.

Shortly before that as well, there was a U.S. announcement about two tanker aircraft that provide aerial refueling falling — one was lost, while the second landed safely.

Reports say that six crew members were on board the aircraft that crashed. CENTCOM has confirmed that a KC-135 Stratotanker crashed in western Iraq while conducting operations against Iran. The second aircraft involved landed safely.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for the downing.

Western bases in the region are under heavy bombardment, and some have gone out of service.

Israeli air power continues, but major questions are now circulating about its ability to complete its missions, especially with missiles continuing to fall on Israel with great intensity and force.

Already there have been a major shift in the course of the US Israel war against Iran!

The war against Iran relies on four pillars:

The aircraft carrier Gerald Ford

The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln.

U.S. and Western bases in the region.

Israeli air power, along with the security operations that accompany it.

Out of the four pillars, only one is still operational. Tehran is different. American Donald Trump and Israeli Benjamin Netanyahu are on a wrong move against a formidable Iranian forces

US military investigation Confirms US Tomahawk missile hit an Iranian elementary school, killing at least 175 people, mostly children

A preliminary US military investigation found that a US Tomahawk missile mistakenly hit an Iranian elementary school on Feb. 28, killing at least 175 people, mostly children.

Meanwhile, UNESCO has warned that intensifying hostilities are already damaging cultural landmarks in Iran and the broader region, saying it has communicated with all parties to the conflict to coordinate protections for heritage sites.

Spokesperson of Iran's Armed Forces General Shekarchi has said if any threat is made against our ports, all docks and economic ports in the entire region will be our legitimate targets, and we will carry out operations heavier than those we have done so far.

All ports and docks in the region would become legitimate targets if Iran’s ports and docks are threatened, a senior spokesperson for Iran’s armed forces told state media on Wednesday.

“I deny the CENTCOM (US Central Command) statement claiming that naval vessels of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have hidden in commercial ports,” Abolfazl Shekarchi added.

Earlier in the day, CENTCOM said that Iran was using civilian ports along the Strait of Hormuz to conduct military operations that threaten international shipping.

CENTCOM warned Iranian dockworkers, administrative personnel and commercial vessel crews to avoid Iranian naval vessels and military equipment.

Also, reports has it that Iran will target economic and banking interests linked to the US ‌and Israel in the region after an attack on an Iranian bank, a spokesperson for Tehran's Khatam al-Anbiya military command headquarters said on Wednesday.

According to an AFP report, Tehran confirmed it is ready for a long war of attrition that would 'destroy' the world economy, after firing on two commercial ships and threatening any vessels from the United States or its allies

Seeking Contact with Iran, American Donald Trump held a phone call with Russian Vladimir Putin to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict

Seeking Contact with Iran, American Donald Trump held a phone call with Russian Vladimir Putin to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

During the call, Putin presented proposals aimed at reaching a quick political and diplomatic settlement to the war.

The development comes as Russia has also maintained close contact with Iran. Putin recently congratulated Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader and expressed Russia’s support for Iran in the face of military pressure from the U.S. and Israel.

Hormuz is closed by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) . Markets are reacting with great panicking.

US envoy reportedly seeks contact with Iran on ceasefire but Tehran blatantly refused any ceasefire or negotiations with United States.

The Al Jazeera bureau chief in Tehran, Noureddine El-Dghir, reports from reliable sources that US President’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, has attempted to reach Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, aiming to test Tehran’s willingness for a ceasefire.

However, according to the sources, there is currently no Iranian interest in engaging, with another source confirming that Iran’s National Security Council has no discussion at this time regarding halting the war.

Iran’s FM Abbas Araghchi told PBS News that talking or negotiating with the US is no longer on the agenda. He says that despite making progress during previous rounds of negotiations, the US still chose to attack Iran.

14 million barrels/day—one-third of global seaborne oil—flow through Hormuz. Traffic is down 80% in one week as Oil past $100. Prices up 30% in a week. Inflation rising. Industry slowing already.

Schumer calls on Trump as oil price surges

Senate minority leader is urging the President to tap the nation’s reserve — 415.4 million barrels

"Oil production dependent on the strait risks fully stopping in the coming month. We are entering a new price reality—inevitable."

Oil prices above $100 per barrel “increase pressure on consumer prices through transport, logistics, and business costs,” Russian expert Alexey Primak told Sputnik.

“If these levels persist for several months, central banks will have to maintain tight monetary policy longer than the market expects. This adds to the risk of a global economic slowdown," he stressed.

Washington started this war. Now the US is quietly easing Russian oil sanctions to stabilize markets—while Europe scrambles.

- Russian intelligence reports indicate Israel has suffered catastrophic losses in the initial 72 hours of Iran's retaliation, far exceeding public admissions by Netanyahu.

- Key findings from the leaked assessment include:

  - Complete operational loss of the Dimona nuclear reactor, Israel's critical nuclear site.

  - Death of 11 top nuclear scientists due to Iranian strikes on Dimona and related facilities.

  - Elimination of 6 senior IDF generals through targeted assassinations and missile attacks.

  - Loss of 198 air force officers, including senior pilots and command staff.

  - 462 soldiers killed in ground operations and base attacks.

  - 32 Mossad agents killed in failed covert operations.

- Total elite casualties exceed 700 personnel, potentially crippling Israel's military and nuclear capabilities for years.

widespread panic on social media, with comments highlighting the severity of the losses and the implications for Israeli military supremacy.

Netanyahu has not publicly addressed the loss of Dimona, but emergency war cabinet meetings are reportedly taking place.

- Iran's IRGC has publicly celebrated the developments, framing them as "divine justice."

- The situation marks a significant shift in the balance of power in the Middle East.

Iran launched drones and missiles toward Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates in the early hours of Tuesday, authorities in the three Persian Gulf states said.

Saudi defense ministry said it destroyed two drones over the country’s oil-rich Eastern Province.

Kuwait said it shot down six drones that were attacking northern and southern parts of the country.

The United Arab Emirates’ defense ministry also said air defenses were confronting missile threats and drones coming from Iran.

Now the US is quietly easing Russian oil sanctions to stabilize markets—while Europe scrambles.

widespread panic on social media, with comments highlighting the severity of the losses and the implications for Israeli military supremacy.

UN’s nuclear watchdog chief, Rafael Grossi, says No proof of Nuclear Program In Iran

The UN’s nuclear watchdog chief, Rafael Grossi, says inspectors have not found evidence of a coordinated Iranian programme to build nuclear weapons despite Israeli and US claims.

International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi told NBC News that the agency had not identified “elements of a systematic and structured programme to manufacture nuclear weapons” in Iran.

At the same time, he confirmed that Tehran has enriched uranium to 60 percent purity – a level far beyond civilian energy needs.

Grossi said such enrichment is something “only countries with nuclear weapons have”.

He stressed that inspectors could not conclude Iran intends to build a bomb, but said the stockpiling raised serious questions.

This enrichment, he said, was “the source of the concerns we had”, and there was “no clear objective” for accumulating material at that level.

“The centrifuges were spinning constantly and producing more and more of that material,” he said, adding that theoretically this would have been “enough to produce more than 10 nuclear warheads. But do they have them? No.”

BREAKING: Tehran Says only China to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

Iran has announced that it will allow only China to pass through the Strait of Hormuz , as an expression of gratitude for Beijing’s supportive stance toward Tehran during the war.

According to China now, as the war with United States, Israel rang on, the strait has been closed to all other ships without exception, with a clear warning that any unauthorized crossing will be directly targeted by Iranian forces.

Iranian Defense Ministry spokesman said the country’s military capabilities would soon force its adversaries into a deadlock and compel them to stop the war, the IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday.

Reza Talaei-Nik said Iran’s “jihadi will,” tactical capabilities and weapons power are at a level that will leave the enemy facing a stalemate in the coming days and ultimately force a halt to the fighting.

He added that Iran’s “offensive defense" would continue with strength.

According to a report by Press TV, the largest US radar in the Persian Gulf that was capable of monitoring the entire Middle East, used for early warning with a range of 5,000 km and a price of 1.1 billion dollars, was targeted and destroyed by Iranian Missiles.

Iran’s IRGC in an announcement also said, the second American THAAD anti-missile defense system in the West Asia region was hit by the precision missiles of the IRGC Aerospace Force and was taken out of operational orbit. Tehran Times reported.

Yesterday, the THAAD radar stationed at Al Ruwais base in the UAE was also destroyed. With the destruction of these two systems, the missile hand of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been opened for successful target hits.

AFP reports that Iran has stepped up its attacks on economic targets and US missions across the Middle East on Tuesday as President Donald Trump warned it was "too late" for the Islamic republic to seek talks to escape the war

Israel’s air force struck the building housing Iran’s Council of Experts in the holy city of Qom on Tuesday in an attempt to disrupt the process of appointing a new supreme leader, Axios reported, citing an Israeli defense official.

The official said the strike occurred while votes were being counted and that the aim was to prevent the clerical body from selecting a successor to former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was assassinated on Saturday in the first wave of Israeli strikes.

"We wanted to prevent them from picking a new supreme leader," Axios quoted the unnamed Israeli official as saying.

It was not immediately clear how many of the council’s 88 members were in the building at the time or the extent of the damage, the report said.

Donald Trump: “Big Wave” of US Military Action Against Iran Is Still To Come

United States President Donald Trump has said a “big wave” of US military action against Iran is still to come, describing the current campaign as only the beginning, and claimed 49 Iranian leaders were killed in initial strikes.

According to a Blomberg, the UAE and Qatar are privately lobbying allies to help them persuade Trump to reach for an off-ramp that would keep US military operations against Iran short, sources say.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said US and Israel's attacks on hospitals strike at life itself. Attacks on schools target a nation's future. Targeting patients and children blatantly violates humanitarian principles. The world must condemn it. I stand with my grieving nation. Iran will not remain silent or yield to these crimes.

According to an AFP report, Trump says Iran operations likely to last 4 to 5 weeks, but says he's prepared "to go far longer than that."

IRGC Claims Devastating Missile Strike on Israeli PM’s Office and Air Force HQ, Fate of Netanyahu Remains Unknown

IRGC Claims Devastating Missile Strike on Israeli PM’s Office and Air Force HQ, Fate of Netanyahu Remains Unknown

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a high-stakes escalation this morning, claiming to have targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office with a "tenth wave" of Kheybar ballistic missiles. In the same coordinated strike, Tehran reported hitting the headquarters of the Israeli Air Force commander.

IRGC have also unleashed the 11th wave of the latest barrage with over 700 drones and hundreds of missiles targeting US and Israeli forces

According to Sputnik, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the 11th wave of its True Promise Four operation: a combined, large-scale strike by the IRGC’s navy and air force targeting US and Israeli bases on the third day of the war on Iran.

United States  information centers and supply depots in the Persian Gulf, the Israeli army communications network in Be’er Sheva and over 20 targets in Tel Aviv, West Jerusalem and Galilee were hit.

Since the start of the war on Saturday, Iranian forces have attacked 60 strategic targets and 500 US and Israeli positions, launching over 700 drones and hundreds of missiles – surpassing the number during last-year’s 12-day war in just the last 48 hours.

The IRGC said the brutal US and Israeli attacks against defenseless Iranian civilians – including attacks on hospitals, schools and civilian infrastructure – have only strengthened Iran’s resolve to wage a total war against its enemies.

While the IRGC has characterized the status of the Prime Minister as "unknown" following the surprise attack, Israeli officials and local reports from Jerusalem indicate no confirmed injuries or visible damage to the government compound. Despite the dramatic claims from Tehran, traffic in the area reportedly continues to flow normally, and several Israeli analysts have dismissed the report as psychological warfare.

Tehran asserts the use of Kheibar (Khorramshahr-4) ballistic missiles in a "tenth wave" of strikes targeting the Israeli PM’s office and Air Force Command HQ.

•While Iranian state media reports the "fate of the Israeli Prime Minister is unknown," the IDF and Israeli officials have formally categorized these claims as psychological warfare/propaganda, stating that all projectiles targeting government compounds were successfully neutralized.

Meanwhile, the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier has been reportedly vacated the Persian gulf as IRGC targeting the US war ships.

US will regrets miscalculation: Iran is ready for a long war, unlike Washington - Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani

A Senior Iranian official, Ali Larijani has said Iran has prepared for a long war and is acting only in self-defense in the current conflict with the United States and Israel.

In a post on his X page, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said Iran did not start the war and that its armed forces had engaged only in defensive action. He said Iran would defend itself “regardless of the costs” and would make its enemies regret what he called a miscalculation.

Prof Mirandi of Tehran University was also reportedly said that Iran has been preparing for this since the Iraq invasion of 2003.

They knew that they would be next sometime in the future

Hence, Iran may never involved in any ceasefire against the United States and Israel as a retaliations for all the Iranian leaders killed including the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday said the conflict with Iran “is not Iraq” and would not become an endless war, describing current operations as limited and focused on eliminating specific military threats.

“This is not endless,” Hegseth said at a news conference, adding that the mission was “clear, devastating and decisive” and aimed at destroying Iran’s offensive missile capabilities, missile production and naval assets so that it will “never have nuclear weapons.”

Will Iran stop the retaliatory attacks for any negotiations with the US and Israeli?

Iranian Gen. Jabbar has said the Americans have relocated the majority of their aircraft to Cyprus; we will launch so many missiles at Cyprus that they will be forced to flee from there as well.

According to a report by Al Jazeera, US Air Force General Dan Caine, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, says the joint US-Israeli attacks on Iran is "not a single overnight mission... We expect to take additional losses."

There was no immediate comment from US authorities.

IRGC in a statement on Monday said: We’ve just started using the 2nd generation missiles today. In the upcoming days, you’ll witness the 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th generation missiles if needed.

Exit of Supreme Leader: The 3 Iranian Elders in Charge of Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Exit of Supreme Leader: The 3 Iranian Elders in Charge of Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Authorities in Tehran have announced a three-member interim leadership council to run the government after the killing of Islamic Republic's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Israeli-United States strikes.

Tehran pledged to avenge the killing on Saturday of Khamenei, who had been in power for nearly four decades.

Iran's IRGC has since targeted Israeli and US assets located across Gulf countries with Ballistic missiles in retaliatory strikes.

While United States President Donald Trump has said he wants a change in Iran’s government, the religious leaders of Iran moved on Sunday to start the process of choosing Khamenei’s successor. So the change of leadership in Tehran will not in anyway change the governance principles of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Trump on Sunday said he is ready to speak with the new Iranian leaders.

What is the interim leadership council?

Article 111 of Iran’s Constitution authorises a temporary leadership council to assume the supreme leader’s duties until a successor is elected.

That council will consist of President Masoud Pezeshkian; the chief justice of the Supreme Court, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei; and a member of the Guardian Council, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi.

So who are these three figures who will temporarily run Iran as it reels from war?

Ayatollah Alireza Arafi

Arafi has been a member of the Guardian Council since 2019. Its members are appointed by the supreme leader. It is an Islamic legal authority that vets Iran’s laws and policies to make sure they conform to Islamic principles. It approves election candidates, has veto power over legislation passed by parliament and supervises elections.

Arafi also serves as the deputy chairman of the Assembly of Experts, the body responsible for overseeing the selection of the supreme leader. He leads Friday prayers in Qom, Iran’s most important religious centre, and heads the seminary system, overseeing education for religious leaders nationwide.

Masoud Pezeshkian
Pezeshkian, 71, is a reformist politician and heart surgeon who served in the army during the Iran-Iraq War. He was elected president in the 2024 elections.

He previously served as health minister under President Mohammad Khatami and, after 2005, as a member of parliament representing the northwestern city of Tabriz.

Pezeshkian ran unsuccessfully for president earlier but in 2024 won on a reform-oriented platform and has since navigated economic pressures and regional tensions.

He earlier campaigned on economic stabilisation, easing social restrictions and pursuing constructive engagement abroad while affirming loyalty to the Islamic Republic’s constitutional framework.

Reacting to Khamenei’s assassination, Pezeshkian said in a statement that Iran now considers “it its legitimate duty and right to avenge the perpetrators and masterminds of this historic crime”.

Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei

Mohseni-Ejei is a senior religious leader and has headed the judiciary since Khamenei appointed him to the post in July 2021.

He previously served as intelligence minister from 2005 to 2009 and later as prosecutor-general and first deputy chief justice. He is regarded as a hardline figure aligned with the conservative wing of the government.

In January, when the collapsing rial triggered protests across Iran, Mohseni-Ejei promised “no leniency” towards what he called “rioters”.

Mohseni-Ejei said the US and Israel “openly and explicitly supported the unrest” in the country after Trump called on Iranians to take to the streets.

After Khamenei’s killing, Trump again addressed the Iranian public on Saturday, calling for them to topple the government. “This will probably be your only chance for generations,” he said on Saturday after the US and Israeli attacks on Iran began.

Exit Of Iranian Supreme Leader: 3 individuals are now in charge of Iran's Affairs

Exit Of Iranian Supreme Leader: 3 individuals are now in charge of Iran's Affairs

Under Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, if the Supreme Leader dies, the Assembly of Experts is responsible for selecting the new Leader. Until then, authority transfers to a provisional leadership council — typically consisting of the President, the Head of the Judiciary, and a jurist from the Guardian Council.

This transition phase is critical, as it determines both internal power balance and regional stability

 The Iranian Constitution states:

The Assembly of Experts (consisting of 88 experts) is the body that selects the new Leader, but until that time, power transfers to the "Provisional Leadership," which is a committee of 3 individuals: the President of the Republic + the Head of the Judiciary + a jurist from the Guardian Council. This committee assumes certain duties until the new Leader is selected

Iranian state TV reportedly announces the death of Ali Khamenei.

US and Israeli intelligence sources earlier confirmed the assassination of the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran along up to 10 other Iranian leaders.

A moment the Islamic Republic likely never anticipated. On Iran in the aftermath of Khamenei's death

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the judiciary chief and a jurist from the Guardian Council will temporarily assume leadership duties following reports of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's death, Iranian media said on Sunday.

-The Iranian government declared a 40-day mourning period after reports of Khamenei's death, according to Fars News Agency.

Mohammad Pakpour, IRGC chief commander, was killed in U.S.-Israeli strikes on Saturday, Iranian media IRNA reported.

Previously before his death, Imam Khamenei addressing the families of the martyrs said:

"Let me say to you openly: whenever I think that this war, these martyrdoms, and these arenas of honor and blood might come to an end, and that we might remain, only to one day die in an ordinary way, perhaps in an accident, as so many do, or from an illness, by God, the mere thought of it places such pressure upon my heart.

To be deprived of an arena that is a contest for eternal and divine honor, a race toward Paradise, and then simply to die in the usual way; this is very difficult.

Would that our death might be like the death of your children, this is a prayer that rises from the depths of our hearts.

And I do not believe there is anyone who truly understands the reality of such a death and does not long for it."

Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Regarding the military aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States against #Iran

Heroic and noble people of Iran,

Iranian compatriots,

Our sacred and beloved homeland, proud and civilization-making Iran, has once again been subjected to criminal military aggression by the #UnitedStates and the #ZionistRegime.

This morning, on the eve of Nowruz and on the tenth day of the holy month of Ramadan, the United States and the Zionist regime, in a gross violation of Iran’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty, attacked a series of targets, defense infrastructures, and civilian sites in various cities of our country.

The renewed military aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran is being committed while Iran and the United States were in the midst of a diplomatic process. Despite being confident in the intentions of the United States and the Zionist regime to carry out another military aggression, we once again entered into negotiations to prove

to the international system and all countries of the world the legitimacy of the Iranian nation and to demonstrate the illegitimacy of any excuse for aggression.

Now the Iranian people are proud that they did everything necessary to prevent war. Now is the time to defend the homeland and confront the enemy's military aggression. Just as we were ready for negotiations, we have been more prepared than ever for defense. The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond to the aggressors with authority.

The airstrikes by the Zionist and American regimes on Iran are a violation of Article 2(4), of the United Nations Charter and a clear armed aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Responding to this aggression is Iran's legal and legitimate right in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will use all their might and resources to confront this criminal aggression and repel the enemy's evil act.

The Islamic Republic of Iran recalls the grave duty of the United Nations and its Security Council to take immediate action to confront the violation of international peace and security due to the clear military aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, and calls on the UN Secretary-General, the President of the Security Council, and the members of this Council to fulfill their duty as soon as possible.

All member states of the United Nations, especially regional and Islamic countries, members of the Non-Aligned Movement, and all states that feel responsible for international peace and security, are expected to firmly condemn this act of aggression and take urgent and collective action to confront it, which has undoubtedly exposed the peace and security of the region and the world to an unprecedented threat.

And now, at a time when the great test of history has arrived, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, inspired by the great epic heritage of this land and relying on God Almighty, with faith in the promise of divine victory, and relying on national power, will not hesitate to defend our beloved homeland with all their might.

History testifies that Iranians have never surrendered to foreign aggression and hegemony; this time too, the response of the Iranian nation will be decisive and determining and will make the aggressors regret their criminal act.

Long live Iran

Tehran has called on the United Nations Security Council to convene an urgent meeting on Saturday to act to halt what it described as aggression against the country, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said.

No Regime Change in Iran — Kremlin warns US as Russian Warships Hold Position in Strait of Hormuz with IRAN

Russia Federation on warned the United States that there won't be a regime change in Iran especially the external induced change in Tehran will not be allowed.

On February 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation.

The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the current situation regarding the Iranian nuclear programme, including in light of the recent indirect US-Iran contacts held in Geneva.

Russia opposes external efforts at regime change in Iran, viewing them as violations of sovereignty and destabilizing. For instance, Russian officials have criticized US approaches that could lead to overthrowing the Iranian government, framing such actions as incitement or unlawful interference.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other Russian officials and diplomats have explicitly condemned Western "plots" for regime change in Iran.

The United States and Iran concluded a second round of indirect negotiations mediated by Oman on Tuesday, with both sides acknowledging progress amid a growing American military buildup in the region.

Shortly after the Geneva talks, US Vice President JD Vance described the process as productive "in some ways," but said Tehran was "not yet willing" to engage on some of Trump's "red lines."

Araghchi said talks showed progress, describing the atmosphere as "more constructive."

US President Donald Trump has significantly stepped up American military presence in the region, deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, with the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier on its way to the region, along with additional fighter jets.

The Geneva meeting was the second round of negotiations since US President Donald Trump ordered strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities during the 12-day Iran-Israel war last June. The first round was held in Muscat, Oman, on Feb. 6.

On Thursday, Trump said it will be clear if it is possible to make a deal with Iran "over the next probably 10 days," warning that Washington "may have to take it a step further" if negotiations fall short.

Earlier, the Kremlin called on Iran and all regional partners to "exercise restraint and caution," describing the tensions as "unprecedented."

US amasses strike force for ‘unprovoked aggression’ against Iran says an analyst as Trump says US must make 'meaningful deal' with Iran, 'otherwise bad things happen'

As American President Donald Trump is on the brink of a war on Iran that has been decades in the making, the US military buildup ongoing in the Middle East is aimed at “inflicting serious damage on Iran,” military analyst Dmitry Drozdenko tells Sputnik.

Trump urges #Iran to strike a “meaningful” deal as a huge American military build-up takes shape in the Middle East amid US threats of action against Tehran.“US escalation is driven by the recognition that neither Israel’s Iron Dom nor patriot defense system can curtailed Irankiran missiles.

No doubt Donald Trump is now seen as a bigger threat to global peace than even Russia by some of America’s former allies. Arleigh Burke-class destroyers with SM-3 and SM-6 interceptors can fully neutralize Iran’s missile arsenal,” says the pundit. The US has been the biggest threat to global peace for a good number of decades. They are the world's terrorists.

Meanwhile, Trump, at Board of Peace meeting, says US must make 'meaningful deal' with Iran, 'otherwise bad things happen'. Maybe we are going to make a deal, You are going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days. We may have to take it a step further (military)

A second American aircraft carrier — the USS Gerald R. Ford — is heading toward the Middle East amid rising tensions with Iran, accompanied by destroyers and aircraft being redeployed from missions in the Caribbean region, a U.S. ABC News reported.

As negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over Tehran's nuclear program continue, American aircraft carriers are at the forefront of a major U.S. military buildup in the Middle East. The Ford is expected to join the USS Abraham Lincoln in the region, the latter having arrived there late last month.

The Ford briefly transmitted its location off the coast of Morocco on Wednesday as it approached the Mediterranean Sea, according to data from the MarineTraffic website. The carrier's location was visible for around two hours.

Also visible on the FlightRadar24 website on Wednesday were two C-2A Greyhound aircraft, which in recent months have been operating off the carrier. The aircraft transmitted their locations off the coast of Portugal, around 230 miles from the Ford's position.

The Ford is being accompanied by four destroyers as it sails east toward the Middle East.

Three of the destroyers are part of the Ford’s carrier strike group that have accompanied the carrier since it first deployed in June, the fourth destroyer had previously been a part of President Donald Trump's administration’s surge of military forces in the Caribbean, a U.S. official confirmed to ABC News.

Each of the destroyers is armed with air defense systems that can shoot down incoming missiles and drones, plus Tomahawk cruise missiles that can be used to strike targets up to 1,000 miles away.

F-35 stealth fighter jets are among the U.S. assets heading toward the Middle East, including some that had been deployed to Puerto Rico ahead of the U.S. operation to depose Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

A spokesman for the Vermont National Guard confirmed to ABC News that the 158th Fighter Wing received a change in mission from U.S. Southern Command -- which oversees operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America -- but did not disclose their new deployment area.

In late January, online flight trackers noted a dozen F-35 fighters taking off from Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in Puerto Rico and landing on the Azores islands in the mid-Atlantic, on their way to the Middle East.

Key Iranian nuclear personnel and facilities were targeted by Israeli and American forces during an intense 12-day conflict in June. But the strikes failed to resolve long-standing U.S. and Israeli grievances related to Tehran's nuclear program, its ballistic missile arsenal and its support for regional proxy groups.

U.S. and Iranian representatives met in Geneva, Switzerland, this week for talks regarding a possible deal related to Tehran's nuclear program and its enrichment of uranium. Trump has demanded that Iran commit to "zero enrichment," a proposal rejected by Iranian officials.

U.S. officials briefed on the negotiations said Iran indicated a willingness to suspend its nuclear enrichment for a certain amount of time, anywhere from one to five years

The U.S. is also weighing lifting financial and banking sanctions and the embargo on its oil sales, according to a U.S. official.

Following the talks in Geneva, Iran is expected to submit a written proposal aimed at resolving the tensions, a senior U.S. official confirmed to reporters on Wednesday. It is unclear when the written proposal will be submitted to the U.S.

On Tuesday, a White House official said Iran would provide detailed proposals to address "some of the open gaps in our positions" in the next two weeks.

The US President reiterated on Thursday: "We may have to take it a step further [than Operation Midnight Hammer], or we may not."

"Maybe we are going to make a deal. You are going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days."

"Iran would have had a nuclear weapon based on everything we found out since within one month [if we didn't do Operation Midnight Hammer].
We can't let that happen."

"They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region. They must make a deal. If it doesn’t happen, bad things will happen."

The opinion of many on the US carrier groups are that the modern warfare no longer required such a US approach. While it's general agreed that in the eventuality of war between Iran and US with allies, the fall of Iran will never be like that of Iraq or Libya in the face of Iranian missiles that humbled Israel in the 12daya war.
