Tehran to Washington — Any new US attack will bring unrestricted strikes on all American bases & economic interests in the Middle East

Tehran has issued a fresh warning to Washington that any renew military strike against the Persian will be met with continuous and relentless retaliatory Iranian ballistic missiles strikes.

Iran's war command stated it has information that US together with its some regional countries, is preparing to resume large scale attacks on Iran. 

 Islamic Republic has warned any attack will be met with sustained strikes on every US base and economic interest in the region with no limitations.  Gulf countries that will allow their territory to be used would be considered complicit and could no longer expect Iranian restraint.

The Iran's statement comes after top US, Israel and Gulf commanders met in Germany last week to discuss about Iran war.

According to Global Surveillance, US could resume large scale operations against Iran including Ground Invasion.

Observations in the last 24 hours indicated that: 

US C-17 cargo planes landed in Middle East with unknown cargo.

 US B-1B strategic bombers at RAF Fairford, UK conducted training operations.

Iran Deploys Ground Special Forces along Southern coastline expecting US may invade the country in the future as IRGC said the US has decided to resume military action against Iran at a joint meeting in a European country, with a "green light" given from regional countries, and warns that if the US moves, "all of its bases and interests in the region will become targets of continuous attacks, without any limitations or considerations."

The warning was issued towards US and Gulf states that host America forces. Iran has struck US bases in the region during war but it considers attacking its economic interests inorder to pressure Host countries to restrict Washington use of their airspace, bases and logistics.

US to resume strikes on Iran has been confirmed for now.

Already, dozens of drones have been Launched toward Iran from the Southern coastal Regions and Western Borders , according to an Iranian sources.

Earlier, an Israeli-made Orbiter Drone was Shot Down near the Strait of Hormuz.

Speaking to Fox News on Iran War, US President Donald Trump on Sunday said he is in a deciding mode.

I am in a “deciding mode,” and very big things are going to be happening in the not-so-distant future.

The choices are: wiping Iran out, letting them rot economically, or making a deal.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaee on Sunday said President Trump greatly underestimated Iran.

He said , "Today, nobody considers America’s war with Iran to be a rational or logical war. Everyone describes it as a stupid war, and I want to add another word to that: ignorant."

"America’s military, economic and political actions were not based on any precise assessment or accurate calculations. They were carried out entirely at the instigation of Israel and Netanyahu personally."

Mohsen Rezaee dares American forces to step on the Iranian soil. 

The Arab countries must completely prevent America and tell it, "You have no right to launch from our countries to bomb Iran."

We are serious about defending ourselves. This time, if war begins, we will strike more severely all the U.S. air bases from which those aircraft take off.

We will strike them with greater force.

Unconfirmed reports also indicated that the Trump administration has sent new private messages to Qatar, containing assurances that Trump now wants to reach a deal with Iran. Sources cited Qatar's foreign ministry.

This comes after Iran conveyed its conditions to the US through Qatar and is now awaiting a response.

Iran's conditions remain unchanged: $300 billion in US compensation, complete lifting of all US sanctions, release of $100 billion in frozen Iranian assets, end of the US naval blockade, US troop withdrawal from the entire region, and a comprehensive regional ceasefire including in Lebanon and Gaza. 

Iran also said on Thursday it will not open the Strait of Hormuz until Trump and Netanyahu are out of power.

Iran’s Air Force unveils its newly acquired Russian Sukhoi-35 fighter jets

 

Tehran has reportedly unveiled its newly acquired Russian Sukhoi-35 fighter jets to boost the country's Air Force capabilities.



The aircraft are set to strengthen Iran’s airpower and add another advanced capability to its forces operating around the Persian Gulf amidst the ongoing confrontation and escalations with the United States and allies hosting enemy's military bases in the region

Iran had previously finalized a major military contract with Russia to acquire 48 advanced Sukhoi Su-35 multirole fighter jets to modernize its aging air force.

In the contract was also avionics, electronic warfare components, and over 300 missiles.

The acquisition was first officially confirmed by senior Iranian military leadership, including Brigadier General Ali Shadmani of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

Russia's Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant has completed production of the initial batch of 20 jets, with ongoing deliveries and base preparations scheduled through 2028.

This purchase replaces Iran's deteriorating fleet of pre-1979 U.S.-built aircraft like the F-14 Tomcat and deepens defense ties between Tehran and Moscow.

Amidst the tension in the Persian Gulf, Iran also acquired military fighter jets and electronic equipment from China.

Earlier, President Pezeshkian speaking during the BRICS submit in Delhi, India, said Sustainable security depends on full respect for national sovereignty and rejecting the model of “security for some and insecurity for others.” Preventing the misuse of countries’ territories to threaten their neighbours is an inviolable principle. 

He said BRICS must stand against the normalization of attacks on civilian infrastructure and peaceful nuclear facilities.

IAEA Says Notices New activity at Iran's Pickaxe Mountain, Accusing Tehran of Non-Compliance with Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act

The International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA says it has detected new activity at Iran’s heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain site, but has no evidence yet of what is happening inside the underground complex.


IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said inspectors have not accessed the site and are relying on remote imagery.

The agency, backed by the United States is accusing Iran of not confirming with the UN nuclear non-proliferation act.


The Board of Governors of the United Nations nuclear watchdog passed a resolution accusing Tehran of failing to comply with its nuclear nonproliferation commitments and referring the matter to the UN Security Council (UNSC).

United States and its key European allies are looking for all means to pressure Iran. This comes more than six months into the US-Israeli war against Iran, and as tensions flare in the Strait of Hormuz, where the US and Iran have traded attacks on vessels in recent days.

IAEA has not had access to the Iranian nuclear facilities since the US/Israel 12 days war against Iran.

The US Embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, has been targeted by drone and rocket attacks. This attack comes amid a further escalation of the US-Iran conflict in the region.

Tensions have reached a boiling point with Iran and its allied groups retaliating.

Following an attack on the US base at Al-Asad, Iran launched ballistic missiles at US positions in Jordan in retaliation. According to Jordan, its air defenses intercepted eight missiles.

In short, human collateral damages was reported as this marks a new phase of escalating US-Iran tensions; videos of missile launches from Tehran are being linked to this retaliatory strike.

Kuwait and Bahrain are not spared by the Iranian ballistic missiles.

Also, Iran is striking U.S. military positions in Bahrain and Kuwait with drones and missiles.

Multiple explosions are being heard as the attacks unfold, marking another major escalation against American forces across the Gulf.

Iranian media claims that a US warship attempting to enter the Strait was targeted by Iranian cruise missiles. Reports say the US destroyer attempted to seize control of the waterway, prompting the Iranian Navy to retaliate.

However, US officials have denied reports that the warship was damaged in a missile attack, and the claim has not been independently confirmed.

Iran IRGC has also claimed to have targeted a US vessel with a cruise missile near the Strait of Hormuz. 

This action is being described as part of a growing US-Iran military confrontation over control of the Strait.

Direct confrontation between the two sides in Hormuz has intensified.

Aseyin Gives Matching Order to Fulani Kidnappers to Refund #10M Ransome (VIDEO)

 

A traditional Ruler in Nigeria, Aseyin of Iseyinland, in Oyo State, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III (Ajirotutu I), has given a matching order to the Fulani community in his domains to immediately refund the ransom collected from the family and relatives of a kidnapped victim in the area.

In the message delivered by Chief Ojomu who is the representative of the Monarch, the Fulani community in Iseyin were given 15 days to refund the sum of #10 million ransom collected, make payments for the hospital bill and repair his vehicle damaged.

The kidnap kingpin must be provided to face the wrought of law.

The latest been a deadly kidnapping incident at a farm settlement along the Iseyin–Ipapo Road in Oyo State has triggered fresh security concerns, after armed kidnappers reportedly abducted four farmers, killed one of the victims and collected ₦10 million before releasing the remaining three.

The incident reportedly occurred at the Iseyin District Farm Settlement, where the attackers allegedly invaded the agricultural community, abducted four farmers and destroyed farming equipment and other property.

Livestock were also reportedly killed during the attack, while facilities within the farm settlement were vandalised.

Farmer Killed During Rescue Operation

Following the attack, a combined security team comprising personnel of the Oyo State Amotekun Corps, police and local hunters reportedly moved to confront the kidnappers.

A gun battle subsequently ensued.

During the confrontation, one of the abducted farmers was reportedly shot dead by the kidnappers.

The remaining three victims were eventually released after their families and the farm association reportedly negotiated with the abductors and paid a total ransom of ₦10 million.

 Aseyin of Iseyin who had summoned an emergency meeting with community and Fulani leaders to address the worsening security concerns mandated the local Fulani to ensure the refund of the amount collected and repair of damaged properties as well as hospital bills settlement.

The monarch reportedly expressed concern over the presence of unidentified persons and herders entering forest areas without adequate identification or clearance.

The traditional ruler placed responsibility on local Fulani leadership to cooperate with security agencies and community authorities in identifying and reporting individuals suspected of criminal activities.

A mass abduction of school children and teachers in nearby Oriire LGA of Ogbomosho zone in May 2026 caused widespread panic and temporary school closures in Iseyin and Ogbomoso. Security forces later rescued 39 schoolchildren and six teachers.

US-Iran competing claims over Strait of Hormuz, IRGC Swarm the waterway with several boats

In a direct challenge to US President Donald Trump’s claim of “total control” over the Strait of Hormuz, hundreds of Iranians and Basij volunteers reportedly took to the water and sailed through the strait.

According to Iranian sources and video footage, Iranian paramilitary volunteers rushed to the strait of Hormuz, after Trump announced that America controls the strait. Despite the US Navy threats and warnings some of the boats continued to sail.

Tehran source also indicates that ships lineup in the Strait of Hormuz unable to pass by.

Russia successfully launches ICBM from Plesetsk Cosmodrome — MoD

Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces practiced redeploying a mobile ICBM to a remote location before preparing and launching it

Russia demonstrated one of its mobile nuclear missiles in action as it was fired from Plesetsk in northern Russia and traveled around 5,700 km across the country to the Kura test range in Kamchatka.

They never said exactly which missile it was, but the launcher and setup look like an RS-24 Yars, one of its nuclear missiles that can be driven around instead of sitting in a silo.

 The training warheads reportedly made it to the target as there was no actual nuke on it. That’s why these things are on trucks. They move around, find a spot, fire, and get out of of the spot.

Absolutely, it was a test of the strategic missile system’s performance however , every such launch also serves as a reminder that Russia’s nuclear forces remain operational and combat-ready.

According to the MOF, all assigned tasks were fully executed. The Strategic Missile Forces trained the redeployment mechanism to a remote area for an intercontinental ballistic missile launch battery, including preparation and execution of the launch.

The purpose of the launch was to confirm the tactical, technical, and flight characteristics of the missile system.

According to Moscow Times, the latest launch comes less than a week after unverified reports claimed that Ukrainian drones targeted Plesetsk, Russia’s only military spaceport.

Russia Will Not Attack a NATO Member - Trump

United States President Donald J. Trump on Thursday repeatedly assured reporters that Russia will not attack a NATO member, following CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s visit to Russia to warn Russian decision-makers against such a move.

Russian MFA Maria Zakharova said any foreign troops in Ukraine that hinder the conduct of the special military operation are to become legitimate military targets.

Russia could target British military facilities in Ukraine and beyond in response to Ukrainian strikes using British weapons.

The America led NATO members have all been fighting a proxy war against Russia using Ukraine land. 

The Patriot missiles interceptors have been drained as a result of Ukraine's war against Russia and the US military aggression against Iran in the middleeast. They entire NATO allies are probably in fear of any Russia's strike against any of the member States.

Hormuz escalation could hit global security 'even harder'—Russian MFA spox

The Strait of Hormuz crisis is disrupting supply chains and hurting economies, particularly in developing countries, while increasing the burden on ordinary grassroots consumers, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in response to a Sputnik correspondent's question.

In the event there's a new round of escalation of the conflict or an economic war unleashed in the Persian Gulf, global and regional energy security are going to be hit even harder, Zakharova warned.

Iranian missile struck an underground bunker in Tel Aviv

There was a Major escalation in the Middle East early morning of Thursday as Iranian missile strikes  targeted the Israeli Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, causing massive explosions and severe secondary fires across the area.

Among the targets for missiles strikes is Israel's Ben Gurion Airport which is currently on fire, according to a report.

 An Iranian missile reached and struck an underground bunker situated beneath a building in Tel Aviv; in other words, the attack is claimed to have targeted not just the building itself, but also the secure facility located beneath it.

However, independent confirmation of the claim indicated that it was a "first in history" event—indicating that Iranian missiles damaged protected or military installations in the vicinity of Tel Aviv.

Also Iran claims that Israel's Nevatim airbase—where F-35I fighter jets and other military aircraft are stationed was targeted —causing heavy damage with missiles. However, there is no independent confirmation yet that the airbase was completely destroyed,  therefore, for now, remains an Iranian claim.

Iran's IRGC in a statement said, “Iran will target every corner of Israel with advanced missiles and will challenge Israel’s military dominance before the world.”

Unconfirmed report aledged that Iran's hypersonic missiles that targeted an Israeli security meeting in Tel Aviv, killed more than 10 Israeli generals. 

It is claimed that these officers were planning an attack against Iran's Supreme Leader.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) travelled to Moscow for unannounced talks, the BBC's US news partner CBS has reported.

He made a rare, unannounced visit to Moscow on August 25, 2026, meeting with Russian intelligence counterparts at Vnukovo Airport.

Neither Washington or Moscow have confirmed the nature of the visit or who he was due to meet.

According to a report, the secretive trip—which bypassed a meeting with Vladimir Putin—prompted Washington to ask Ukraine for a brief localized halt on regional drone strikes.

A U.S. military aircraft transported the CIA delegation to Moscow's Vnukovo airport on Tuesday, August 25, before departing later that day.

Ratcliffe held discussions with Russian security and intelligence officials, marking a rare high-level physical presence of a U.S. spy chief in the Russian capital.

U.S. officials requested that Ukraine temporarily suspend air strikes targeting Moscow, St. Petersburg, and select northern zones while the delegation was in transit.


Flight tracking data confirmed a large US military aircraft travelled to Russia from the US via Latvia on Tuesday. It departed later on Tuesday.

Footage posted on social media showed the C-17 transport plane approaching Moscow's Vnukovo international airport.

It departed Riga airport at 05:50 GMT and appeared to have landed in the Russian capital at around 07:04 GMT, according to data from FlightRadar24. It returned to Riga shortly before 17:00 GMT.

The Iranian Political System may see this as an Effort by Trump to win the Midterm Elections.

However, alternative report from Washington affirmed that there is no any ongoing or schedule talk between the US and Ira.

The Trump administration is not engaged in talks with Iran and none are currently scheduled, Al Jazeera Arabic reported Tuesday, citing a White House official who requested anonymity.

“As President Trump said, there are no talks or discussions currently under way or scheduled with Iran,” the official told Al Jazeera.

“The naval blockade remains firmly and effectively in place, the Strait of Hormuz is open, and the sea mines have been removed or destroyed,” the official added, according to the report.

Tehran has also said it has set out its conditions and position on the Strait of Hormuz to Pakistan for delivery to the United States, the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency reported on Tuesday, citing a source close to the Iranian negotiating team.

The source said Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, who visited Iran on Monday, did not carry a threat or similar message from Washington and instead sought to help reopen space for negotiations.

"Iran's positions were clearly conveyed to the Pakistani side," the source said.

The source said one of Tehran's conditions was for the United States to return to what was described as the Islamabad memorandum and implement its provisions.

The Pakistani side was seeking to pass those conditions to Washington, Tasnim cited the source as saying.

According to Sputnik, Pakistan's Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, completed a one-day visit to Tehran, reaffirming Islamabad's central role in mediating between the US and Iran. The mission focused on de-escalating hostilities and reviving stalled negotiations.

Accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Munir held talks with Iran's top leadership, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Major General Mohsen Rezaei — the Supreme Leader's personal representative and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), along with other senior officials.

According to Pakistan's military (ISPR), discussions centered on preventing escalation, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and achieving a swift end to the conflict. Iranian officials praised Pakistan's constructive mediation. Naqvi called the exchange "very constructive," while Tehran described the visit as "highly fruitful," citing "valuable diplomatic achievements" to be disclosed later.

A key matter was reviving the "Islamabad Memorandum"—the landmark agreement brokered by Pakistan on June 17. However, its 60-day framework expired in mid-August without renewal.

Beyond mediation, the visit boosted bilateral ties. Iran noted relations are at "one of the best stages" in their history, with both sides committed to expanding cooperation. The nations reaffirmed their goal of increasing trade from over $3 billion to $10 billion and advancing cross-border infrastructure and energy connectivity.

This was Munir's third visit to Iran this year, underscoring Pakistan's persistent diplomatic engagement. Though specific outcomes remain undisclosed, both sides express cautious optimism about the negotiation process.

US President Donald Trump’s war of aggression against Iran has placed a heavy debt burden not only on the American people, but also on US allies such as Japan, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, told IRNA.

The US now has to borrow at a rate 3.7 times higher than in 2020, meaning an additional $3.7 billion in annual costs for every $100 billion of debt, the major general highlighted.

He also pointed to Japan, saying the rise in its 10-year bond yield to around 3% marks the end of the US “free ride.”

Rezaei said the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, signed by Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan, was a sign that the United States had told them it wanted to leave the region.

“The United States told them, ‘Goodbye, we are leaving,’” Rezaei said in a televised interview.

Rezaei added that Iran supported broader Islamic unity and said Iran and Egypt should be founding participants in any such regional alliance.

“Our friends come and say, ‘We have made a pact, come and approve it.’ What are we supposed to approve? We don’t even know what you signed,” he said.

Reforms must be made in Iran's diplomatic behavior

Iran's Army chief visits underground ballistic missiles production base as Gulf countries seek security cooperation with Tehran

Iran's media on Saturday released footage of the Armed Forces Chief of Staff and the commander of Khatam al-Anbiya HQ, Ali Abdollahi, visiting the underground ballistic missiles base.

 Iran's military chief visited an underground ballistic missile production facility, showcasing what he called a major ramp-up in weapons output since the war began with United States and the State of Israel.

Major General Ali Abdollahi is the current Chief of the General Staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces. He was appointed to this top military position on August 10, 2026, by Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

Ali visiting the underground site said, by God's grace, they have been able to produce equipment far better than in the past, with greater capabilities and superior quality. 

In terms of quantity, they have managed to scale production significantly higher than before.

State media highlighted a threefold increase in kamikaze drone production since the start of the conflict and claimed Iran now ranks among the world's top 10 missile powers and 6th in drone capability.

This is in line with what another senior military adviser to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said, that Iran’s armed forces should be prepared to respond preemptively to future threats rather than wait to react after an attack.

Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said in a message marking Defense Industry Day that Iran’s military response should not be “passive,” but instead “preemptive, powerful and calculated” to deter its adversaries from attacking.

Safavi said the recent wars with the United States and Israel had demonstrated the need for Iran to equip its forces for both asymmetric and full-scale conflict and develop what he described as a more active form of deterrence.

Gulf states are now quietly reaching out to Iran for new security arrangements — a direct consequence of the U.S. war against Iran, which has left America's allies questioning whether Washington can still protect them, Iran's Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf said.

"We've received numerous messages from neighboring countries about shaping new security arrangements and economic cooperation in the region," Ghalibaf said. "The United States put the security of every single one of its allies at such risk — through bullying and pure disregard for their interests for the sake of Israel — that they briefly saw their entire existence on the line."

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain are now privately reaching out to Iran for new security arrangements, sending multiple messages almost daily to Iran out of concern that the US cannot protect them anymore due to interceptor shortages and the vulnerability of hosted US bases,  Iran's Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf and a senior Iranian source in Tehran familiar with the matter can confirm.

Thirty-three years later. That claim only holds if something in those records is still dangerous today.

Here’s the cleanest theory that fits every known fact:

In the late 1980s–early 1990s, a Nigerian-run network was moving **high-purity Southeast Asian white heroin** (“China White”) from the Golden Triangle — primarily sourced and staged in **Bangkok, Thailand** — into Chicago and northwest Indiana.

Adegboyega Mueez Akande ran the organization. His nephew Abiodun Agbele handled U.S. distribution and sales. Lee Andrew Edwards was a major street-level customer in Gary. Tinubu’s Chicago bank accounts were frozen because investigators believed they held laundered proceeds from the same SEA white-heroin pipeline. Agbele got arrested in 1990 selling to an undercover agent and cooperated. Tinubu was interviewed by phone, made partial admissions about knowing the players and moving money, later contradicted himself, fought the civil case, and settled in 1993 by forfeiting $460,000 with no criminal charges.

The working theory is that Tinubu provided information during that process — enough to walk away without an indictment. The records of that cooperation (or the identities it protected) remain in the file.

That is why the Bureau is still invoking a life-safety risk in 2026.

Look at what happened next. In 1995–1996 the U.S. launched **Operation Global Sea**, the first major effort that took down an entire Nigerian SEA-heroin chain from Bangkok source to Chicago streets. It targeted a sophisticated syndicate based in Bangkok that had been moving hundreds of kilograms of the same high-purity white heroin into the Midwest via Europe, Guatemala, and Mexico. Dozens were arrested in Bangkok, Chicago, New York, Detroit, and Pakistan. The Bangkok-based leader, Musiliu Balogun (aka “Olopa” / “The Policeman”), was charged as a primary supplier from Thailand/Cambodia. He stayed a fugitive until 2006, was extradited, and was sentenced in Chicago in 2013 to nine years.

Other follow-on operations (including elements later rolled into Shadow Towers) kept hitting Nigerian groups still importing SEA white heroin from Bangkok into Chicago and other cities.

Most of the original 1988–1993 players are now dead or neutralized: Akande died in 2024, Edwards years earlier. Balogun served his time and is no longer an active kingpin. But the broader Nigerian transnational networks that controlled the Bangkok-to-Chicago SEA white-heroin pipeline never fully disappeared. Residual associates, family members, or successor cells in Thailand and West Africa still operate in the drug trade. Identifying who cooperated in the original Chicago case — or revealing the exact techniques and sources used against the Bangkok suppliers — could still put people at real risk of retaliation.

That is the only explanation that makes the 33-year “endanger lives” claim coherent. The files are not being blocked over ancient bank records. They are being blocked because someone in them was protected, the protection still matters, and the Southeast Asian white-heroin networks that fed Chicago in the 1990s left behind people and structures with lasting lethal potential.

The public record is silent for a reason. The FOIA fight is the government’s way of keeping it that way.

New US Sanctions: Tehran says maximum pressure, military aggression, state terrorism against Iran will not stand

Economic pressure is the 'most effective tool' the US has on Iran — Vance

The Islamic Republic of Iran has on Thursday said no amount of U.S. maximum economic pressure, brutal military aggression and state terrorism against Iran will crumble the Iranian people and government.

The Iran's ministry of foreign affairs in a statement responding to the new US economic sanctions said the US ruling establishment has announced the imposition of sweeping economic and trade sanctions against the Iranian people, coinciding with the anniversary of the disgraceful coup d’état of 28 Mordad 1332 (19 August 1953).




This action is not only another indication of the continuation of 73 years of hostility and animosity by US policymakers toward the Iranian people, but also further demonstrates the anti-human, lawless and hegemonic nature of the US ruling establishment.




Undoubtedly, the US economic sanctions against Iran, which target the fundamental human rights of every Iranian citizen, constitute “economic terrorism” and “crimes against humanity.” Those responsible for these sanctions deserve to be prosecuted and punished for committing such heinous crimes.




These sanctions, imposed in the aftermath of the US-Israeli wars of aggression against Iran over the past year and a half and their failure to achieve their malign objectives of forcing the Iranian people to surrender to their illegal and inhumane demands, will merely add to the long list of crimes committed by the United States against Iran. They will, however, undoubtedly have not the slightest effect on the determination of the Iranian people to safeguard Iran’s independence, dignity and national sovereignty.




Economic sanctions and pressure are the other side of the same coin as war and military aggression. America’s pathological addiction to these two instruments has not only placed global peace and security under an objective threat, but has also subjected human civilization to an unprecedented moral decline. Accordingly, no government that believes in the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations—including the principle of respect for the national sovereignty of states—can remain indifferent to the continued lawlessness and overt belligerence of the United States toward fundamental international norms.




The US decision to announce new sanctions, while constituting an explicit admission of the commission of crimes against humanity, is also a continuation of a policy that has already been tried and failed. Repeating it will certainly produce nothing but a repetition of past failures and further discredit the architects and leaders of this policy. The US government and the architects and implementers of this policy will, of course, bear responsibility for its consequences and repercussions.




The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while strongly condemning the US action to intensify its illegal and inhumane sanctions against the Iranian people, emphasizes that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains steadfast and determined in defending its security and national interests and confronting the US military, economic, political and psychological pressures and attacks.




Relying on its indigenous and national capabilities, and taking into account the experience of seven decades of comprehensive resistance against the US policy of maximum pressure, military aggression and state terrorism against Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran will employ all available tools and capacities to counter the hostile actions of the American-Zionist enemy and safeguard Iran’s national interests.

Iran could survive US economic pressure for “a couple of weeks or a couple of months or possibly longer,” Vice President JD Vance told Newsmax on Thursday. He said preventing Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon remains Washington’s main goal.

“They’re under a ton of pressure. That pressure is conducive to our goal of ensuring they don’t have a nuclear weapon,” Vance said.

"What has been true over the last couple of weeks is they felt a lot more pressure than we have," the vice president said.

He said the administration has economic, diplomatic and military tools available to pressure Tehran and is focused on preventing Iran from rebuilding its nuclear program.

“Sometimes, you’ve got to use the economic tools. That’s what the president is focused on right now,” Vance said. “Sometimes, you’ve got to use the military tools.”

Iran has repeatedly emphasized that resuming commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz hinges on the US lifting its naval blockades.

China, a major partner of Iran condemned what it calls Washington’s “pressure tactics” after Trump announced the “draconian sanctions” against countries and entities cooperating with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Beijing said sanctions and pressure “are not the solution” and is calling on all sides to “act responsibly” and stick to a political and diplomatic approach.
