Spoke's person of Terrorists And Bandits in Nigeria Sheikh Gumi Barred from performing Hajj, deports him back to Nigeria by Saudi Authorities

Authorities in Saudi Arabia have stopped Nigerian Sheikh Gumi from performing Hajj, deports him back to Nigeria

Gumi

Saudi Arabia has stopped Kaduna-based Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi from performing the 2025 Hajj and deported him back to Nigeria.

Sheikh Gumi confirmed this in a post made on Monday, May 26, 2025, via his Facebook page.

He said the Saudi government had granted him a visa to enter the country for Hajj, but he was not allowed to enter Medina to begin his religious duties.

According to him, “Due to some reasons related to my views on world politics, the authorities in Saudi Arabia do not want me to be present at Hajj even though they have granted me a visa,” Sheikh Gumi said in a post on his Facebook page.

He added, “I am grateful to the authorities in Nigeria who have pledged to engage with the Saudi authorities on this matter.”

Sheikh Gumi is part of a delegation of scholars sponsored by the Nigerian Hajj Commission (NAHCON) to travel to Saudi Arabia for religious services.

Gumi arrived in Medina with other clerics last Saturday at around 10:30pm on an Umza Air flight, but upon arrival at the city’s airport, Saudi immigration officials prevented the cleric from entering the country.

Reports revealed that Sheikh Gumi has now returned to Nigeria to continue his daily activities, especially teaching.

It is note worthy to state that the Islamic Scholar has be the mouth piece of the terrorists, Bandits and kidnappers who have caused a lot of havock to the people of Southern Kaduna and beyond.

The APC led Federal government of Nigeria usually give him police security to move around as the spokeman of the bandits. The government through the Nigerian Army rehabilitates terrorists while they abandon their victims.

There were claims of terrorists been absorbed into the Nigerian Army. Many of the Nigerian youths especially of the southern origins are jettisoning joining the army currently.

No serious country will tolerate terrorists and their sympathizers but under the APC governed Nigeria since 2015 till date, like fiction, the level of insecurities have been aggravated and compounded, lives of the law abiding citizens have become miserable and short due to reasons of insecurities.

Order countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE have arrested Nigerian terrorists and sponsors of terrorism in their country who worked freely here.

Religious Leaders: Unmasking the Tool of White Supremacy in African Contexts - Nigeria as Case study

Religious Leaders: Unmasking the Tool of White Supremacy in African Contexts - Nigeria as Case study

Nigeria, often referred to as the "most religious country in the world," boasts a staggering number of churches across the nation. However, despite the proliferation of these religious institutions, the country continues to grapple with high crime rates and widespread political corruption. This raises questions about the role of churches in shaping the moral landscape of the nation and their influence on addressing societal challenges.

A study conducted by the Pew Research Center in 2018 found that 46% of Nigerians attend church services at least once a week. Yet, the same country is plagued by rampant corruption, ranking 149 out of 180 countries on the 2020 Corruption Perceptions Index. Additionally, Nigeria faces alarming crime rates, with kidnapping, armed robbery, and other violent crimes remaining pervasive.

Some argue that churches have become overly focused on promoting prosperity theology and accumulating wealth, neglecting their responsibility to address the societal ills that plague the nation. With pastors living lavish lifestyles and amassing fortunes, it is reasonable to question whether these religious leaders are genuinely committed to advancing the well-being of their congregations and communities.

Moreover, churches in Nigeria have historically shied away from directly confronting political corruption, often focusing on spiritual matters while avoiding engagement in political discourse. However, as institutions with significant influence and reach, churches have the potential to serve as powerful platforms for addressing corruption and promoting good governance.

Here are some scriptures that can be relevant to the topic at hand:

Matthew 7:15-16 - "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits."

Romans 16:17-18 - "I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of naive people."

1 Timothy 6:3-5 - "If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain."

As Nigeria navigates its complex challenges, it is crucial for religious institutions to reflect on their role in shaping society and addressing its most pressing issues. By moving beyond a focus on individual prosperity and actively engaging with political and social challenges, churches can become catalysts for positive change and contribute to building a more just and equitable nation.

Sokoto State Government to MURIC: Remain apolitical, your accusations on deposition of Sultan untrue, baseless, biased, unfounded

Sokoto State Government to MURIC: Remain apolitical, your accusations on deposition of Sultan untrue, baseless, biased, unfounded

The Sokoto State Government has rebuked the Muslims Rights Concern (MURIC) over a publication made by the body alleging a plan by the sttate government to dethrone the Sultan of Sokoto,  Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar.

A statement signed by Abubakar Bawa who is the Press Secretary to the Sokoto state Governor said Sokoto State Government wondered how a responsible body like MURIC, claiming to be protecting the rights of the Muslims would descend so low and cheaply as to join hands with deluded mischief makers and enemies of progress to fabricate such a false and unsubstantiated story just to create an unfriendly atmosphere and fear in the minds of the law-abiding and peaceful citizens of the state.

Full Statement:

The attention of the Sokoto State Government has been drawn to a malicious publication credited to the Muslims Rights Concern (MURIC) alleging a plan by the sttate government to dethrone the Sultan of Sokoto,  Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar.

The state government wondered how a responsible  body like MURIC, claiming to be protecting the rights of the Muslims would descend so low and cheaply as to join hands with deluded mischief makers and enemies of progress to fabricate such a false and unsubstantiated story just to create an unfriendly atmosphere and fear in the minds of the law-abiding and peaceful citizens of the state.

We believe that MURIC is not the type that will be dancing to the tunes of enemies and mischief makers who are trying to take away the attention of the good people of Sokoto state and Nigerians on the transformative initiatives taking place in Sokoto State over the last one year.

We also like to assure MURIC that the present administration just like the previous administrations in the state cherishes and respects the Sultanate Council long before MURIC was established.

The Sultanate Council, which has a long standing historical importance is so reverred to all the people of Sokoto State, therefore we still hold the institution in very high regards and esteem.

This is not the first time stories such as this  were fabricated to show that all is not well between the state government and the Sultanate Council, as some few months back we had a similar obnoxious story which the state government categorically condemned and denied in whole.

From the look of things, those nefarious  detractors and distracting enemies of progress have not relented in their failed efforts  to smear the cordial relationship existing between the state government and the Sultanate Council.

MURIC should have cared to find out if there was ever any query, warning or any threatening documents served on the sultan by the state government.

We equally like to remind MURIC that promoting Islamic affairs is the second item on the Ahmed Aliyu's nine-point Smart Agenda, therefore Islam means so much to the present administration, coupled with the fact that Sokoto being the Seat of the Caliphate, is a 100 per cent Muslim-dominated society.

It is on record that no administration in the history of Sokoto State has done to Islam what the present administration has done in just one year. This we say without any fear of contradictions.

Therefore, for any one to think that the present administration could engage in acts or actions that could jeopardize the development of  Islam is not only unfair but unjustifiable.

To put the records straight, we would like to tell the world that the relationship between the Ahmed Aliyu-led administration and the Sultanate Council under the leadership of our most respected monarch, Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar has been very cordial.

The present administration always consulted  with His Eminence, the Sultan on issues affecting the state, and his invaluable contributions and inputs are always respected and included in policy implementation.

On the issue of sacking and transfer of some District Heads in Sokoto State, MURIC should know that the affected District Heads were  accused of some unbecoming behaviours, such as land racketeering, aiding insecurity as well as insurbodination to the constituted authority.

In order to give them fair hearing the committee summoned all the affected District Heads, after which it came up with a whitepaper report, advising the government on what to do. And it was based on that and also in the public interest  that the state government acted in conformity with the recommendations made by the whitepaper committee.

It is equally important for MURIC to note that nobody is above the law, therefore, the sacked District Heads are just reaping what they sow, and that the action taken by the Sokoto State Government was indisputably in the best public interest.

Religions and the plundering of Nigeria

Tinubu

It is no longer news that the magnanimity of BAT doled out 90 billion naira to support Hajj Operations this year 2024. May I on behalf of the homeless and hungry Muslims who will not benefit from the fund say rankadede to Mr President, and on behalf of those who will benefit by association and strategic positioning say may your days be long on the throne for many more joyful Hajj to the holylands, insha Allah!

Sir, your determination to fight corruption is commendable, even though we are yet to see any meaningful results. Also is the examplary leadership of the Vice President who took a clue from you and transparently announced the amount you gave to the Muslim Community to support 2024 Hajj Operations. May such slip of tongue be the portion of all strategic officers; elected or appointed in your administration in the mighty name of Jesus.

Sir, may I on behalf of Christians plead with you to let us know how much you gave to the Christians in support of this year's pilgrimage. We had expected that by now the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Board, His Lordship Bishop STV Adegbite would have announced like the Vice President how much we were given. Sir, this becomes necessary for transparency and accountability. As we may need to advise his office on better use of the money for the much needed capacity building for displaced Christians from their ancestral homeland across our Northern axis.

Adegbite's attempt to structure Christianity after the pattern of Islam is no longer hidden. Christian pilgrimage will now take after the pattern of lesser and higher Hajj. While one serves Ramadan the other holds during Eid-el Kabir. Christian pilgrimage will now be twice a year, one for Easter and the other for Christmas I supposed. An Easter Pilgrimage according to him will take place in the month of June. The plundering of money allocated for pilgrimage is so paramount to him that the safety of Nigerian Christians is not put to consideration. Adegbite probably have prayed and the God of Israel "fighting" in Gaza has assured him that Nigerian Christians will be safe in Gaza.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has assured that Nigerian pilgrims will be safe in Israel.

He made this disclosure during a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday; May 8, 2024.

“By the grace of God, Nigerian pilgrims will be safe in Israel,” Bishop Adegbite said.

“We will travel for the Easter Pilgrimage and we will be safe. It will be a journey for reawakening and rejuvenation, not a jamboree.”

He added that the pilgrims will experience the glory of God by the end of the pilgrimage exercise.

The NCPC boss announced that the Easter pilgrimage exercise will commence in June, and preparations are in top gears for a hitch-free exercise.

He revealed that the Commission has approved a calendar of activities for its annual pilgrimage program, stating that pilgrimage is now more structured and no longer done haphazardly every month.

According to him, the Easter pilgrimage", (should I say lesser pilgrimage) "runs from April to July, while the main pilgrimage exercise" (higher) "begins from November and ends in February.

Bishop Adegbite condemned the ongoing carnage in Gaza, calling for an end to the war".

Must any Nigerian be led anywhere near Gaza, the place of his condemnation at this time? President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the only one who can speak about the safety of Nigerians outside Nigeria.

Adegbite further hinted; "The cost for the Easter pilgrimage exercise will be released next week after considering some variables. It is important that Adegbite declares how many billions the Commission has received, is it N90Billion or more; before announcing what it will cost to partake in the lesser and the higher Pilgrimages.

#2023Election: Shari’a centre rejects Tinubu-Shettima Muslim-Muslim ticket, says Nigerians should reject temptation of voting along religious line

#2023Election: Shari’a centre rejects Tinubu-Shettima Muslim-Muslim ticket, says Nigerians should reject temptation of voting along religious line

As the 2023 General Elections in Nigeriais close by,  the Centre for the Promotion of Shari’a has rejected Muslim-Muslim ticket of any political party, calling on Nigerians to be committed to the core values of the leading faiths in Nigeria.

After a monumental and colossal failure of Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari led APC maladministration, there isn't any options favourable order than a Muslim Muslim ticket to enable the ruling party extend It's rulings beyond eight years.

Nigerians of all ages and works are totally tired of the pro terrorists and bandits civilian regime of the APC Leadership using religion as the last card to hold on to Power.

Sharia centre has also demonstrated that the APC tactics are not for Islam and not for Nigerians.

Speaking at a consultative meeting of Stakeholders of the Muslim Constituency in Northern Nigeria, the national coordinator, Centre for the Promotion of Shari’a, Aminu Inuwa Muhammad, said they are committed to the Islamic ideals of justice and fairness adding that Nigerians should reject the temptation of voting along religious line.

“It is also imperative to task all presidential candidates to commit themselves to meeting the aspirations of Nigerians by guaranteeing peace and security of the country, thereby ensuring prosperity and unity of the citizens.

The Centre for the Promotion of Shari’a is committed to the Islamic ideals of justice and fairness to all. Hence it implores all Nigerians to reaffirm their commitment to the core values of the leading faiths in Nigeria and reject all attempts to discriminate against any presidential ticket based on religious identity.

“Since the return to democratic rule in 1999, despite skepticism of a section of the international community, Nigeria has remained consistent in peaceful transfer of power especially in 2007 and 2015.

Nigerians have demonstrated their resilience and commitment in democracy. There have been serious threats to Nigeria’s corporate existence since the first military coup, the civil war and recent secessionists’ activities. Despite catastrophic predictions of a foreign-based organisation, the Nigerian State has survived.

“Like all previous transitions, the politicians have overheated the polity in preparation for 2023 elections. The Centre for the Promotion of Shari’a therefore decided to host a consultative meeting to dispassionately address these issues that are critical to the survival and peaceful co-existence of the country, and particularly as they affect the destiny of Islam and Muslims in Nigeria,” Muhammad said.

IGT SEASON 3; REGISTRATION TO COMMENCE BY MIDDLE OF MAY, 2022

IGT SEASON 3; REGISTRATION TO COMMENCE BY MIDDLE OF MAY, 2022

The management of Nigeria’s first Islamize music competition, Islam Got Talent has disclosed that it is set to begin registration of her 3rd annual competition by the mid of May 2022.

The Executive Director, IGTF, Mr. Ayanshola  Taofeek, stated this during the Walk Against Stigmatization for Islamize Musicians (WASIM 2022) declaration summit themed, ‘The Walk.’

According to him, there is a need to review Competition’s modes of operation while improving standards.

He said, “IGTF development has to be driven by the modes of operation because of our competitors, most of them will be seeking better treatment in every phase of this competition. And we need enough time to put things together.

“This is why we are taking our time to review our past actions and meditate over our next steps as registration will begin my third week in May so that we will have a more interesting competition fit for purpose rather than a competition fit for numbers.”

The founder, Islam Got Talent Foundation,  Ifeleye Ray , added that lack of potential sponsors and needed support  was inhibiting the foundation’s ability to tap into its digitalisation potential as far as the competition is concerned.

He said, “Sponsors and Support are tied to the competition and I think for us to get standard from every angle including our digitalisation, we need to review our standard and set a convenient date to ensure conveniences for our contestants too.

IFELEYE DECLARES WALK AGAINST STIGMATIZATION OF MUSIC IN ISLAM

IFELEYE DECLARES WALK AGAINST STIGMATIZATION OF MUSIC IN ISLAM

Ifeleye

Founder of Islam Got Talent Foundation (IGTF) and Association of Nigeria Islamic Music Scholars (ANIMS) , on Friday, asked talented Muslims  to step on the “hatred”  conjured by some Muslims to eradicate arts in Islam.

Ifeleye, in his statement , condemned the longtime ambiguity relating to Music or arts in Islam especially in Nigeria.

The first OAP to broadcast Islamic music on media urged all talented Muslims affected by this criticism, concerned professional associations and leaders of religious sects to do the needful to help talented Muslims use their talent for the propagation of Islam.

IFELEYE said, “My fear is people with good heart (like you) ain't doing anything about it either. Talented Muslims like me seemed trapped in the middle of nowhere and almost going to lose it sooner than later. It's now 3years and one month that my team and I have began this journey trying to speak for voiceless but talented Muslims in our society

“We began broadcast majorly on Islamic Music on media while others were suggesting we should do something else since no support is coming from anywhere. We declined this  suggestion and went ahead to organize awards for our Muslim artists, Organize conferences, career talk, online and physical trainings, competitions and more……But, yield nothing or little.

The inventor of Nigeria’s first Islamize competition further said that “Islam is the origin of artistic civilization which includes music and I can prove it to the world! So why this hatred?  By now, we are taking this one more step to announce to the world that enough is enough!

“Let these haters divert their hate for Islamize Musicians towards people terrorizing, misleading or confusing Muslims using Islam as a shield.  Leave Islamize Musicians alone or support them to do right things with their talent.
