TASS: Colombian Fighters Now Nearly Half of Ukraine’s Foreign Contingent,

Russian defence sources, cited by TASS, have reported that Colombian nationals now make up almost half of Ukraine’s estimated 16,500 foreign fighters—more than 7,000 people.

They say many Western volunteers and contractors from the US, UK, Germany, Canada and elsewhere left after late 2025 and were replaced by lower-cost recruits from Latin America, especially Colombia.

Other sources confirmed that there were recruits from some African countries too.

US and France help Ukraine target facilities in Russia — report

Russia has authority that the United States and France are directly helping Ukraine to target facilities in Russia federation.

' The assets in the crosshairs include Russia’s oil refineries, depots, and plants of the military-industrial complex, FT admits.

The new Western plot is to try attacking the facilities in such a way so as to keep them damaged for as long as possible, in hopes to make the conflict "more costly" for Russia.

The campaign reportedly has two objectives: limit Russia’s oil trade and reduce its ability to supply troops with weapons.

Another new aspect pointed out by the outlet is that Ukrainian drone units get advice from energy Ukraine’s specialists "on which components are indispensable to refinery operations and which would take the longest to replace" — using the fact both Russia and Ukraine have similar Soviet-designed energy systems.

On June 5, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that deep strikes against Russian facilities are impossible for Ukraine to conduct on its own. Thus, such attacks transform the West into direct belligerents in the conflict.

"If we see that these countries are being drawn into a war against us, and this is precisely their direct participation in the war against the Russian Federation, then we reserve the right to act in a similar manner," Putin said.

The war against Russia in Ukraine hg as long been sustained by NATO and EU.

Russian response:

Russia Strikes on Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities to severely degrading the Ukrainian military’s ability to carry out deep strikes inside Russia, military experts tell Sputnik.

It is quite possible that the strikes were deliberately aimed at dismantling the production chain behind Ukraine's missile programs – Flamingo, Neptune, FP and Grom-2, notes retired Russian Navy Captain First Rank Vasily Dandykin

Degrading Ukraine’s production infrastructure has become a primary objective, as it cripples Ukraine's ability to target Russia's rear areas, military-political observer Mikhail Onufrienko says

The strikes will continue — and the heavier they become, the greater the Russian gains along the front line

Russian Official Warns: Ballistic Missile Attacks on Moscow or St. Petersburg Would Require Kyiv Evacuation

Russian Official Warns: Ballistic Missile Attacks on Moscow or St. Petersburg Would Require Kyiv Evacuation

Ukrainian drone hits civilian bus in Russia’s Belgorod region

A Russian official has warned Ukraine that any ballistic missile strikes on major Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, would trigger the need to evacuate Kyiv.

The statement comes amid reports of Ukraine planning longer-range ballistic missile strikes on Russian major cities soon.

Ukraine is developing FP-9 ballistic missile capable of reaching deep into Russia.

"A Ukrainian UAV struck a civilian bus in Shebekino this morning. 19 civilians injured. 18 taken to hospital," the region’s acting governor, Alexander Shuvayev, said.

Six of the injured are in serious condition and will be transferred to Belgorod hospitals, he added.

This has been the latest strike in a series of Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian infrastructure and populated areas:

In June, a Ukrainian drone struck a bus carrying a children's football team from Belarus in Russian Bryansk region, killing a woman accompanying the team and injuring eight people, including six children

In May, a drone strike on a dormitory in the city of Starobelsk in the Lugansk People's Republic killed at least 12 people and wounded more than 40, with a missile hitting a residential area

Russian strikes continue to hit Ukrainian ports and vessels supplying the military

The attacks targeted a trans-shipment facility and fuel depots in Nikolayev's port, and also hit a cargo vessel at sea that was hauling military supplies to Odessa and Chernomorsk.

Mosquito fleet: "Iran's asymmetric naval warfare earns Putin's praise

The Iran‑style "mosquito fleet" has been "quite efficient" in the Middle East conflict zone, Russia's President Vladimir Putin noted during a meeting with Russian Navy officers on July 26.

"It is a matter of new technologies," Putin explained.

He added that Russia has been developing similar capabilities — small ships equipped with advanced weapons such as Kalibr missiles that could deliver precise and painful strikes to any enemy.

Iran's so‑called mosquito fleet consists of about 20 Ghadir‑class midget submarines and several thousand fast missile and assault boats.

Light and nimble, these vessels can be hidden in tunnels carved into Iran's rocky coastline, making them difficult for the US to destroy with long‑range weaponry

US-Iran War: Trump lobbies Russian Putin, Chinese Xi Not to Sell Weapons To Tehran , Denied Selling Weapons To Ukraine

US-Iran War: Trump lobbies Russian Putin, Chinese Xi Not to Sell Weapons To Tehran , Denied Selling Weapons To Ukraine

The President of the United States Donald Trump on Friday said both the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Chinese President Xi Jun ping have assumed him they will not sell weapons to the Iran.

Trump denied selling weapons to Ukraine, claiming the United States simply sells them to NATO countries.

He stated that he "has no idea how the weapons are distributed" after purchase.

In the same publication, the American president noted that neither Russia nor China supplies weapons to Iran.

President Trump said he takes at face value testimony from the leaders of China and Russia that they are not providing weapons to Iran or otherwise “participating” in its war with the United States and Israel.

The president’s defense, issued in a statement on his social media site Truth Social, comes after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told lawmakers that Russia and China are “enabling Iran.”

According to Trump, “President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies,” Trump wrote, referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He Said, “Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also. Likewise, President Putin … told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran.”

“Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests.” He said.

Iranian military and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have demonstrated resilient, bravery, courage and capabilities with a home grown technology in ballistic missiles productions that have become the nemesis and nightmare to the American forces and NATO allies alike.

As Britain has already gave in to Trump to use UK's military base against Iran, Bulgaria has also joined, allowing the United States to use it's air base against Tehran.

President Trump thanked Bulgaria’s Rumen Radev after the country’s parliament approved allowing the US military to use Bezmer Air Base in support of American operations amid the war with Iran.

“Thank you Prime Minister Radev!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post, sharing a Newsmax report on the parliamentary vote despite Tehran’s warnings to Bulgaria.

Israel's IDF is expected to join in the coalition campaigns against Iran.

Sources confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a nearly 5-hour security cabinet meeting Saturday amid ongoing tensions with Iran.

Decision reached on the conditions to join the campaign; Israel is expected to join the campaign if Iran attacks Israel, if Washington requests it, and if the operation expands beyond tactical strikes around the Strait of Hormuz to include Iran's regime and nuclear program.

According to sources familiar with the discussions with Washington, Israel and the U.S. are fully aligned on the next phase.

Again, Netanyahu is expected to travel to Washington on Monday to meet President Trump on Tuesday, where the two are expected to coordinate their next steps.

Up to a hundred Refueling aircraft and lighter jets have been moved to Israel ahead of the planned major military onslaught against Iran.

Their words: Stay at least 500 meters away from any building, hotel, base or location where U.S. soldiers are hiding.

That means hotels. Residential buildings. Beaches. Malls. Multiple civilian locations are in serious danger.

America, the UK, Australia, Germany and France are telling their citizens to get out of the Middle East. Airports in the UAE and Kuwait could suffer shutdowns for months.

The Persian Military has warmed the UK with Khorramshahr-4 Intercontinental ballistic missiles, declaring RAF Fairford and Diego Garcia "legitimate targets" for hosting U.S. B-1 bombers, Tasnim News.

The Khorramshahr-4, used in the March 19 strike on Diego Garcia (3,800km away), could reach parts of the UK. Britain would have just 20 minutes warning — Mach 10.

The Donald Trump's war against Tehran is causing the whole world a lot of pains. For the Russia and China to allow Trump's planned demolition of Iran is to allow another Libya error or a repeat of Iraq blunders by the American led NATO imperialism.

Sergey Lavrov: US directly involved in Ukrainian strikes on Russia

Moscow remains committed to the understandings reached with Washington in Anchorage, the Russian foreign minister has said

Lavrov meets with US Secretary of State on the sidelines of #ASEAN ministerial meetings

Lavrov

The US is directly participating in Ukrainian strikes against targets inside Russia by supplying weapons, intelligence, and communications support to Kiev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Lavrov rejected Western claims that Russia and China were allegedly supplying Iran with weapons used to attack American military facilities.

He accused Washington of hypocrisy, pointing to its own role in the Ukraine conflict.

“The Americans, through arms supplies paid for by the European Union, the provision of intelligence, the Starlink system and much more, are not simply helping, but are directly participating in guiding Ukrainian weapons toward targets, including civilian targets, on Russian territory,” Lavrov said.

Despite this, he said Moscow remained committed to the understandings reached by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump during their meeting in Anchorage last year.

Lavrov recalled that Putin had accepted compromise proposals put forward by Washington, while Trump publicly backed negotiating a long-term peace agreement rather than a temporary ceasefire.

Russia continues to regard those understandings as valid because the US has not formally rejected its own proposals, Lavrov said, adding that he intends to seek clarification on Washington’s current position during an upcoming meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Russia has repeatedly condemned the supply of Western weapons, intelligence, and targeting assistance to Ukraine, arguing that such support makes NATO countries direct participants in the conflict.

Moscow has also warned that continued military aid is prolonging the fighting and increasing the risk of a direct confrontation between Russia and the West.

Commenting on Europe’s growing military spending and preparations for a potential conflict with Russia, Lavrov said Moscow was drawing conclusions not only analytically but also in terms of its “material readiness” for any scenario.

He reiterated that Russia has no intention of attacking Europe, but warned that if Western states decide to gather “under the familiar banners and try to attack us, it will no longer be a conventional war.”

On July 23, Lavrov held a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of #ASEAN ministerial meetings in Manila.

The two sides held an in-depth exchange of views on a broad range of bilateral and international issues in follow-up to the recent high-level contacts.

When talking on the Ukraine issue, Sergey Lavrov informed his American colleague about the real situation on the contact line, highlighting the inadmissibility of the continued supply of weapons to the Kiev regime and the destabilising activities of European countries, which are still seeking to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia.

Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed Russia’s readiness for a political and diplomatic settlement in Ukraine and its commitment to the proposals advanced by the United States at the meeting of President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, which the Russian leader has accepted.

They also talked about regional and international issues, including the situation in the Persian Gulf.

Sergey Lavrov and Marco Rubio welcomed the resumption of full-scale contacts between Roscosmos and NASA, and spoke in favour of resuming interparliamentary exchanges and cultural ties.

They also discussed the normalisation of conditions for the functioning of Russian and US diplomatic missions.

An agreement was reached to maintain contacts between the two foreign policy agencies, including in the framework of the two countries’ activities at international organisations

A US license to produce Patriot anti-aircraft missiles would not help Kiev begin making them before the conflict ends, Defense Priorities analyst Jennifer Kavanagh told Sputnik.

She called the plan highly unrealistic, noting that any factory would be a priority target for Russian attacks, making it impossible to launch production.

US President Donald Trump had during the NATO submit in Turkey promised the Ukrainian leaders the license to produce the American defense system at home.

Putin congratulates Trump and American people on US Independence Day

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has stated on Sunday that fresh intelligence indicates Russia is preparing another large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine.

He described it as typical of Putin — launched right after America’s Independence Day and just before the NATO summit in Ankara (July 7–8).

Zelensky urged Ukrainians to heed air raid sirens and called on Western partners, especially the US, to speed up delivery of air defense missiles to save lives.

According to monitoring channels, report Russian already finished preparations for the next attack in next 48 hours

Russian authorities have reiterated last week that there is no going back on the special military operations in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine has been between the US led NATO and the Russia Federation.

The US is providing intelligence to help Ukraine plan and execute drone attacks deep inside Russia, including routes to dodge air defenses.

At the same time, Russian negotiators are pushing hard for big Ukrainian concessions especially on territory, and US-brokered peace talks are unlikely to restart before late summer or even February 2027. Both sides remain far apart.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin was briefed on the full liberation of Konstantinovka - one of the most important logistics and defensive hubs in northern Donbass

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia has no plans to stop its "Special Military Operation" (SVO) in Ukraine.

According to him, fighting will continue until Moscow achieves its goals, including Ukrainian neutrality and recognition of Russian-controlled territories.

Peskov said peace is possible quickly if Ukraine meets Russia's demands, but otherwise military operations proceed.

According to Sputnik, quoting USMC veteran and geopolitical analyst Brian Berletic,  with its superior industrial base and ability to maintain larger numbers of trained soldiers, Russia can maintain pressure on both Ukraine and its NATO backers until either of them cracks.

" Russia has been able to hit highly expensive and difficult-to-replace military hardware transferred to Ukraine, as well as industrial facilities, command centers and dual-use infrastructure"

Moscow attacks are degrading Ukraine “faster than either it itself or its Western sponsors can replenish manpower, equipment, and ammunition”
Western military production or the scale of Ukrainian drone attacks have so far failed to match those of Russia’s

Vladimir Putin ordered the continuation of strikes against military targets in Ukraine during the meeting with Russia’s Chief of General Staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov

Meanwhile, in the middle east, Iran had rejected American Donald Trump's demand of a toll-free Strait of Hormuz, announcing China will be granted "special considerations" on Iran's planned Strait of Hormuz fees at the World Peace Forum in Beijing, with Iran's ambassador to China Fazli adding "we will definitely have special considerations for China, because China is a friendly country," and Iran will extend similar preferential treatment to other "countries which are friendly to us," per Bloomberg.

Iran will impose "new arrangements concerning the Strait of Hormuz with the collaboration and cooperation of Oman" as the Strait is now a matter of Iran's "national security" following the war, with China buying almost all of Iran's oil exports.

The US and Gulf Arab countries reject Iran's planned fees while European nations now view fees as "inevitable" and some Gulf Arab officials privately hold the same view, pressing Iran only not to "discriminate based on nationality."

On further negotiations, Trump said the U.S. and Iran have agreed to pause negotiations for a week until the events surrounding Ali Khamenei’s funeral conclude, adding that neither side will “shoot at the other” during that period, according to Axios.

Trump also claimed the Iranians “are begging to make a deal” and said, “They are all there. One shot and we can take them all out, but we are not going to do that because then we would have nobody to negotiate with.” He added that he was surprised to see mourners crying at Khamenei’s funeral, saying, “Maybe it’s fake tears.”

"Oil production dependent on the strait risks fully stopping in the coming month. We are entering a new price reality—inevitable."

Oil prices above $100 per barrel “increase pressure on consumer prices through transport, logistics, and business costs,” Russian expert Alexey Primak told Sputnik.

“If these levels persist for several months, central banks will have to maintain tight monetary policy longer than the market expects. This adds to the risk of a global economic slowdown," he stressed.
