Fellow Members of our Great Party in Ogun State,

As we step into the New Year, we extend our warmest greetings and best wishes to every one of you—our dedicated members, supporters, and believers in the Labour Party's ideals. The past year has been one of dynamic political developments, and we recognize that recent events at the national level may have stirred concerns among our ranks.

We wish to assure all members that there is no cause for alarm. Our leadership in Ogun State remains steadfast, united, and fully in control of the party's structures and direction within the state. While we acknowledge the decisions and movements at the national level, we are confident that the organs of our great party will navigate this phase with clarity and purpose.

In Ogun State, our focus remains unwavering: to strengthen our party from the grassroots upward, to uphold the interests of the people, and to continue providing a credible alternative that prioritizes good governance, equity, and progress. 

We urge every member to remain calm, resolute, and engaged. This is not a time for uncertainty but an opportunity to reaffirm our dedication to the Labour Party's cause in Ogun State. Our leaders are on top of the game, and together, we will emerge stronger, better organized, and more prepared for the future.

Let us enter 2026 with renewed hope and collective resolve. Keep faith in our party, in democracy, and in our shared vision for a better Ogun State and a better Nigeria.

PRESS STATEMENT: Oyo State Labour Party's New Year Message — As we journey this year...

On behalf of our Interim Chairman  Oyo State Labour Party HON. DELE ABIOLA and the entire Interim EXCOS, Oyo State LABOUR PARTY is using this medium to greet and welcome all the Labour Party state members in the state and beyond as well as Nigerians in general  to the New Year 2026. Happy New Year!

In the face of doubting socio-political and economy policy which is absolutely anti-Citizens, we wish Nigerians a year of breakthrough as we are calling for more steadfastness and dedication to build a virile political party ahead of 2027 general elections.

As we journey this year, may the Lord God Almighty give us the courage to confront our fear , open our mouths and heart and Walk against any evil in our land, confront anti-democratic forces and elements both within our dear party and our dear country. 

This year as political party, may God go ahead of us and make every crooked path straight and hope of millions of Nigerians for a country that works be rekindled. 

May our silent struggles for a better democratic governance materialized, turn into a national testimony, and every effort brings visible results. 

May wisdom guide our decisions, favor speak for us year, and peace reign in our hearts and homes and in our party. 

May every genuine member of our dear party and indeed peace and good governance Nigerians prosper,
