AFP - Pope lands in Thailand, first stage of Asian tour

Bangkok: Catholic Pope Francis landed in Thailand on Wednesday, according to an AFP journalist on the plane, the first stop on an Asian tour that will sweep in Japan.

His plane landed at Don Mueang International Airport, just after 12:00pm (0500 GMT).
