Electrical malfunction causes fire on the Gerald Ford carrier
Spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) HQ has said the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was targeted by the naval forces of the IRGC and has been rendered inoperable.
The carrier has left the region and is currently returning to the United States.
In another development, the United States announced an event that appears somewhat mysterious: a fire caused by an electrical malfunction on the Gerald Ford carrier.
Shortly before that as well, there was a U.S. announcement about two tanker aircraft that provide aerial refueling falling — one was lost, while the second landed safely.
Reports say that six crew members were on board the aircraft that crashed. CENTCOM has confirmed that a KC-135 Stratotanker crashed in western Iraq while conducting operations against Iran. The second aircraft involved landed safely.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for the downing.
Western bases in the region are under heavy bombardment, and some have gone out of service.
Israeli air power continues, but major questions are now circulating about its ability to complete its missions, especially with missiles continuing to fall on Israel with great intensity and force.
