Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warns US military will face a “firm response” if America repeats strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warns US military will face a “firm response” if America repeats strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have warned that the US military will face a severe and “firm response” if Washington repeats strikes after a US attack on southern Iran, saying any renewed action will be met with retaliation.

Thia is against the background dealing that yhe United States and Iran have reached a 60-day framework agreement to extend the ceasefire and begin negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program.

The deal according to a source, still requires final approval from President Donald Trump, Axios reported on Thursday citing two US officials.

The commander of the Revolutionary Guards in Tehran said Iran’s armed forces were at “peak readiness” and had launched new military drills immediately after fighting stopped.

“The mechanisms are designed in a way that allows a response to any enemy action in the shortest possible time,” Hassan Hassanzadeh said on Thursday.

Hassanzadeh also said attacks on Basij centers during the conflict had failed to weaken support for the paramilitary force.

"The president conveyed a message to the mediators that he wants a few days to think about it before making a final decision," a senior US official said.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei had accused the US and Israel of trying to create internal division within Iran to make up for its “military defeats”.

Tehran accused the U.S. of another ceasefire violation and said it retaliated by targeting an American base after a second round of what the Pentagon calls "purely defensive" strikes against drone operations. CENTCOM said Kuwait intercepted an incoming Iranian missile, and there were no reports of a U.S. base being hit.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in an escalation to mount pressure on Tehran on Thursday said in a post on X that the US will shut down Iranian airlines’ access to landing spots, refuelling and ticket sales.

Bessent opined that the Treasury Department is crippling Iran’s economy, with unpaid troops, police absenteeism, a collapsing currency, and sanctions now targeting Iran’s Persian Gulf Strait Authority and key transportation sectors.

In a warning to Oman, Bessent said the US will not tolerate any effort to impose a tolling system in the Strait of Hormuz. Oman, in particular, should know that the US Treasury will aggressively target any actors involved - directly or indirectly - in facilitating tolls for the Strait and any willing partners will be penalized.

Iranian State TV reveales the reasons for the failure of the talks with the U.S

The negotiations between the US delegations and Iranian delegations failed to achieve anything meaningful after a 21hrs of negotiations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi as reportes by Iranian TV revealed the reasons behind the failure of the two sides to achieve any agreeable understanding in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Details:

- The U.S. tried to achieve at the negotiating table what it could not achieve through war

- The Americans demanded that Iran hand over enriched uranium and open the Strait of Hormuz without recognizing Iran’s sovereignty over it

- Iran has decided to defend its national interests by military means.

"We are disappointed with how US behaved. Netanyahu's call to Vance during the meeting shifted the focus from US-Iran negotiations to Israel's interests. The U.S. tried to achieve at the negotiating table what it could not achieve through war. We came here with good faith, the press conference by Vance before he left Pakistan was unnecessary, we are committed & prepared to safeguard our nation's interest and sovereignty"- Iran FM Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

The success of the negotiations depends on avoiding excessive and illegal demands and recognising Iran’s legitimate rights, the Iranian Foreign Ministry affirmed.

The US/Iran talks to end the war in Islamabad went through sharp swings and continued into the early hours of this morning, a Pakistani official told the Washington Post.

According to some reports from social media, US President Donald Trump has proposed a naval blockade against Iran following failed negotiations in Islamabad between the U.S. and Iran.

Trump suggested the U.S. could respond to Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz by imposing its own blockade.

The U.S. Navy could potentially assert control over maritime traffic in the strait, effectively restricting movement along this critical global oil route.

The proposal comes amid broader warnings from Trump after the collapse of talks, while Pakistan continues mediation efforts and urges both sides to maintain the ceasefire despite rising tensions around the Strait of Hormuz.

According to credible source, Iran will only allow about 10 ships per day through Strait of Hormuz for fees up to $2 million .

Tehran plans to permit no more than a dozen vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, with fees potentially as high as $2 million per supertanker, US media reported

Shipowners from several countries are said to be negotiating with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for permission to transit the strategic waterway

The limited number of ships allowed to cross will have to follow specially designated routes and obtain the necessary permits

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened following a two-week ceasefire announcement on Wednesday night

US/Israel-Iran War: Tehran to target 18 American companies in the Middle East as IRGC Announces plans for the management of the Strait of Hormuz

US/Israel-Iran War: Tehran to target 18 American companies in the Middle East as IRGC Announces plans for the management of the Strait of Hormuz

IRAN has issued a warning to employees of American companies in the Middle East: leave the region to protect your lives. The operation will begin on Wednesday, April 1, at 8:00 PM Iran time.

IRAN has stated that companies actively involved in terrorist designs will be subject to retaliatory action in response to any act of terror.

The list of companies is as follows:

Meta, Apple, HP, Microsoft, Google, Intel, Cisco, Boeing, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Palantir, Nvidia, J.P. Morgan, Tesla, GE, Spire Solutions, G42.

As U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth,  recently addressed reports and promising actions against Russian and Chinese involvement in supporting Iran amid the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military operations against Iranian targets, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov says he is ready to provide Iran with all his weapons and support.

Russia and China—we know exactly what they’re doing, what they are or are not doing. We don’t have to air publicly what all of that is, but where necessary, we’re addressing it, we’re mitigating it and or we’re confronting it head on.”

Pete Hegseth added that the U.S. is tracking activities, moving assets as needed, and that adversaries providing certain intel or support “shouldn’t” be doing so.

President Ramzan Kadyrov even stated that he is ready to go to Iran today and fight to repel any potential U.S./Israeli ground operation.

Meanwhile, Iran has announced a plan for management of the Strait of Hormuz after scoring a major intelligence and military coup in a strike in which 200 senior US military officers were attacked in a secret location in a swift Iranian strike. This is the biggest and possibly most significant blow Iran has dealt with the US in the ongoing war in the middle east.

A member of Iran’s National Security Commission announced that a plan to manage the Strait of Hormuz has been approved.

Key points of the plan include:

1. Enhanced security measures in the strait

2. Naval vessel safety protocols

3. Environmental protection considerations

4. Financial and fee regulations

5. Banning passage of US & Israeli vessels

6. Reinforcing Iran’s sovereign authority and role of its armed forces

7. Collaboration with Oman on the legal framework

8. Restricting access for countries enforcing unilateral sanctions against Iran.

The American President Donald Trump has also said he is ready to end the war with Iran without open the Strait of Hormuz

However, in a major diplomatic pivot, Israel has reportedly reached out to Beijing, requesting that China leverage its unique relationship with Tehran to mediate an immediate end to the escalating conflict. As the war enters its second month, Israeli officials have expressed a willingness to engage in high-level dialogue if China can guarantee a cessation of Iranian missile strikes and secure regional maritime routes.
