AFP: Officials from the United States, Mexico and Canada will meet in Mexico on Tuesday, the country's foreign minister said, as efforts intensify to finalize a new continent-wide trade deal.
"There will be a meeting of the negotiating teams from Mexico, the United States and Canada on progress made," Marcelo Ebrard said in a statement on his
Twitter feed late Monday.
"I confirm that tomorrow, Tuesday, December 10, at 12 noon, there will be a meeting of the negotiating teams of Mexico, the United States and Canada to raise awareness of the progress made regarding the modernization of the Free Trade Agreement between the three countries (T MEC)"
Meanwhile, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has said in morning conference that Mexico, Canada and the U.S. have agreed to sign the USMCA today
