Hundreds of pro-Morales protesters march towards Bolivia capital

La Paz (AFP) – Hundreds of supporters of resigned Bolivian leader Evo Morales marched toward the capital La Paz Monday, as opposition leader Carlos Mesa said he feared an imminent attack on his home.

The march left La Paz’s satellite town of El Alto, an AFP journalist reported, as the few open shops in the area hurriedly closed and Mesa took to Twitter to ask for police help against “a violent mob” heading for his home.
