In preparation for the late night operation which took place over the weekend, officers of the Commission had carried out series of discreet surveillance on the nature of activities going on in the nightclub which according to intelligence gathered, the said club was notorious for harbouring "yahoo-yahoo boys."According to the Nigeria's anti-graft statement, the raid also led to the confiscation of scores of vehicles, laptops, sophisticated phones and other items.The suspects are undergoing further interrogation.
The EFCC is enjoined to do the thoughtful investigation of those arrested as not everyone that attends night clubs is a yahoo boy.
