DISCLAIMER: Tunji Sadiq led Exco is illegal..... Can no longer convene SEC meeting of Oyo State Labour Party — Stakeholders

The attention of the Stakeholders of the Oyo State Labour Party has been drawn to a purported invitation for a SEC meeting signed by one Mr Ojetunde,R.F  who claimed to be the State Secretary of the party.  

Mr Ojetunde who is purportedly working with the else while chairman of the party Mr. Tunji Sadiq Atayese. The party has no any standing EXCO or SEC as of today.

The Stakeholders wish to State categorically that Mr. Ojetunde is not known to us and such invitation of his should not be honored but should be Jettisoned.

The group warned that anyone who chooses to attend do so at his or her personal risk.

The Stakeholders in a statement signed by Comrade Dele Abiola said the party has no substantial EXCOs at any level in Oyo State today.

While we await the directives from the national Caretaker Committee of the Labour party from Abuja, we equally call on security agencies to disallow such an illegal gathering that may trouble and distablise the peace of the state and the country at large.

INVITATION TO SEC MEETING 

  This is to invite all members of the State Executive Council to attend an emergency SEC meeting scheduled as follows.

Date: Saturday 12th of April,2025

Venue: State Party Secretariat,Molete, Ibadan 

Time:11am prompt 

LG Chairmen should extend the invitation to their secretaries to attend the meeting.

Purpose of the meeting includes 

1.Update the state executive Council on the development at the National level 

2.State of our party at the state level 

3.Congress and plan for 2027

It will be highly appreciated if all of us can be punctual and give this notice the widest publicity it deserves.
