The Oyo State Chapter of the Opposition Labour Party (LP) in Nigeria has heartily congratulate the Senator Nenadi Esther Usman led National Working Committee of the party on her well-deserved recognition by the Nigeria's Electoral umpire Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Sir Dele Abiola led Oyo State Labour Party said INEC complying with the ruling of an Abuja High Court that enthroned Senator Nenadi Esther Usman as a welcome development.
The party said both the court judgement and eventual INEC recognition is a clear affirmation of persistence on due process, internal democracy, and the supremacy of the party’s constitutional structures.
"The legitimacy of the current National Leadership before Nigerians and the renewed confidence in the Labour Party as a credible and law-abiding political platform has just been officially confirmed.
According to a statement signed by the Oyo State Labour Party's Interim Publicity Secretary Comrade David Abisoye, the party members are confident that Nenadi led leadership will further reposition the Labour Party for unity, growth, and effective democratic participation across the country.
