The Ogun State Labour Party's Interim Chairman Apagun Olaolu Samuel has sternly warned impostors in the state presenting themselves as the party's Leaders to the people within and outside the state.
The party's leadership in Ogun State said in a statement signed by the interim Chairman that it's attention has been drawn to acts of impersonation by one Comrade Lookman Abiodun Jagun, falsely claiming to represent the party in various capacities.
The part categorically stated that Comrade Jagun's tenure as Caretaker Chairman ended with the Abure-led National Working Committee (NWC)
-And that Apagun Olaolu Samuel is the legitimate State Chairman, appointed by Sen. Nnenadi Esther Usman led National Working Committee of the party with an appointment letter dated December 5, 2025
The party equally warned that any transactions, statements, or actions taken by Jagun or any other impostors in the name of Labour Party Ogun State are invalid, null, and void and those dealing with they are doing so at their personal risks.
"We condemn this act of impersonation and warn the public to beware of such deceitful tactics. We urge all party members, stakeholders, and the general public to deal only with authorized party officials." The statement said.

The attention of the Labour Party Ogun State Chapter has been drawn to acts of impersonation by Comrade Lookman Abiodun Jagun, falsely claiming to represent the party in various capacities.
This is to inform the public that:
- Comrade Jagun's tenure as Caretaker Chairman ended with the Abure-led National Working Committee (NWC)
- Apagun Olaolu Samuel is the legitimate State Chairman, appointed by Sen. Nnenadi Esther Usman, national executive, in a letter dated December 5, 2025
- Any transactions, statements, or actions taken by Jagun in the name of Labour Party Ogun State are invalid, null, and void
We condemn this act of impersonation and warn the public to beware of such deceitful tactics. We urge all party members, stakeholders, and the general public to deal only with authorized party officials.
Any attempt to misrepresent or impersonate Labour Party officials will be met with swift legal action. We are committed to protecting the integrity of our party and the interests of Ogun State.
