Abeokuta, Nigeria – Apagun has issued a stern warning to members of the press regarding recent statements credited to Sunday Abayomi Onigbinde popularly known as Arabambi.
In a swift response, Apagun described Arabambi as a “suspended character, transactional politician and an impostor” who serves as “a well-known instrument of division and destruction in the hand of the ruling political party.” Apagun urged journalists to cease giving Arabambi undue recognition and to stop attributing to him offices he does not hold.
"As far as the Labour Party is concerned, Arabambi is persona non grata. He holds no office such as the Southwest Chairman as is being erroneously claimed," as it will be in the best interest of the party to maintain the calmness and relative peace we are having now after the suspension of Arabambi and his likes. If Arabambi and his cohorts has renewed their mandate to destroy Labour Party, he should come out and tell the whole world. He should come and tell us where he met with Governor Alex Otti to nurse such an idea.
Let it be published and broadcasted across Nigeria, Labour Party is leaving no stone unturn as we prepare for 2027. We have no reason to adopt a retrogressive political party or support a government that has woefully failed Nigerians.
