Trump threatening resumption of military operations against Iran
Iran has directly rejected Donald Trump's claims of ongoing negotiations, saying it is not negotiating with the United States and has not requested talks — adding "it's not in our DNA," according to Tasnim.
The Foreign Ministry said "it's not in our DNA" to seek negotiations and insisted Washington is the side requesting talks.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi also declared, "The Strait of Hormuz will never return to its pre-war state."
President Donald Trump on Tuesday reportedly told Fox News that he may resume bombing Iran any moment.
“I can resume military operations against Iran and finish the job, and there are people who want me to do that.”
“There are those who want me to destroy Iran’s power plants and bridges.”
“The Iranians know that I will destroy their bridges and power plants if they do not reach an agreement with us.”
According to some reports on possibilities of resumption to hostilities between United States and Iran, Pakistani intelligence agencies assess that US President Donald Trump could launch a limited ground offensive to seize parts of Iran’s southern coast, DPA reported Monday citing security sources in Islamabad.
The assessment is based on military observations, according to the report.
The sources said Pakistan and Qatar were again relaying proposals between Washington and Tehran, but that Iran was seeking a permanent ceasefire and opposed a limited truce.
Iran’s military has warned the United States against a ground offensive and said it is prepared for such an operation, according to the report.
The ground invasion agenda will not be unconnected to the concerns raised by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the Pickaxe mountain believed to be the secured underground housing the Iranian nuclear facilities.
Any ground invasion in whatever manner may likely result in heavy casualties on both sides.
Another dangerous calculation is according to a Report indicating that some US officers are Considering Special Forces Raid with Army Rangers and Navy SEALs to Secure Iran’s Uranium.
U.S. military planners are weighing a complex special operations mission that could involve Army Rangers including the 2nd Ranger Battalion and Navy SEALs such as SEAL Team 6’s Silver Squadron, along with the Army’s 21st Ordnance Company, to seize Iran’s enriched uranium from fortified sites like Fordow and Isfahan.
Thousands of troops would secure the areas, clear booby traps and damaged entrances, and protect routes, while a smaller elite team retrieves the material.
Experts describe it as potentially one of the most sophisticated and dangerous operations in military history
