Nigeria's Govt places travel restrictions on ministers, others

Nigerian President, Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd.) has directed that no minister should go on foreign trips more than twice in a quarter.

According to the information disclosed by Information, Culture & Tourism Minister Lai Mohammed, No Minister can travel out of the country more than eight times in a year under the new presidential directives.

Besides, no minister on a trip outside the shores of the land should go with more than four aides, who should be relevant to the trip.

Govt officials below the rank of ministers are henceforth entitled to fewer aids.

Besides, estacode would no longer be calculated on hourly basis.
