Turkish Erdogan: We are determined to become a country that produces new technologies”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said the country is firmly determined  to become a country that produces new technologies and exports the same to the rest of the world.

Speaking at the TÜBİTAK and TÜBA Awards Ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “We have got down to carrying our success story in defense industry to civil areas."

"We will no longer be a mere market for new technologies. We are determined to become a country that produces new technologies and exports them to the entire world.”

President Erdoğan participated in 2019 Awards Ceremony of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) held at Beştepe People’s Convention and Culture Center in Ankara.

Turkey, a NATO member with nuclear arsenal after creating a refugee zone in the Northeastern Syria which many other countries including NATO members condemned as aggressive invasion of Syrian territory is currently ratifying process of sending troops and munitions to Libya in support of the UN back Government of National Accord in Tripoli against UN Security Council arm embargo.
